How to make a view created using enhancement framework as Interface View

Dear Experts.
I Created A new View and window by using Enhancement Framework for a standard webdynpro comp. Now i want to use the same window as a UIBB in FPM , since in window properties interface view check box is unchecked it's not allowing me to use a UIBB in FPM.
Kindly answer for the following.
1) Is there any way to make a view a interface ( whcih is by default in nature but while creating from Enhancement framework behaivng Strangly).
2) If there is no way then how to use enhanced (additional View Created in Standard WDA comp) further like in FPM ( UIBB ).

windows created through enhancement are local to component and hence they are not visible outside.
You need to find other way to provide your interface view to UIBB.

The DVD Creator.dll file was in the proper location but I could not find a Run As Administrator Option.
I did delete Prefs file and try again to open the app then the project and received the same problem. And the scratch disks were all directed to the Elements 13 path
Yesterday I did try additional solutions
Removed the Elements 13 App vis the Control Panel, copy the original downloaded .zip File to the Desktop and reload the entire application with no success solving the problem
In addition to that I contacted a site called Rescue.com? and the guy told me that he was a representative of Adobe, which I was not sure was the truth. He looked at my system and told me that Premier 13 was not compatible with Windows 7. I called BS on him told him that Adobe site said it was compatible and he told me I had a Trojan on my system and he would refund my money for Elements 13 and sell me version 12, which would be compatible, along with a better security system than the Norton 360 I told him I had. At that point I immediately terminated our communications and called Norton to have additional checks performed to ensure no additions were added to my system. They had me download and run Power Eraser from them and it found nothing wrong.
I also temporarily turned off the firewall and tried to use the Elements 13 but had no success.
I also went to Microsoft Windows site and searched for the Exception code: 0xc0000005 that was displayed in the event viewer and they indicated there was a hotfix available and they would email me that fix. ave not received the email yet.
I’m getting very frustrated but thank you for your help. I will update you with and additional results or actions I get or perform.

I am also working similar kind of requirement. In my case I tried to add new tab subtab using personalization , how ever the add new item button is not enable.

How to make an icon image using Photoshop

I found out how to do this recently so I decided that I wanted to make a tut for those who don't know how to make an icon image. This icon image is for the libraries tab on your computer. Under the libararies tab there is Music, Pictures, Documents, and Photos
First you will need the ICO (Icon image format) Format extension for photoshop which can be downloaded here:

The download link and tutorial on how to install it is all in the link above.
Once you have that all set you can now launch photoshop to create your icon image. Once you have launched it, create a new document with the size as in the image below.

Create the image you want. I used a simple one by using the custom shape tool by pressing "U" on your keyboard and with the
basic blending options.

The reason why the image is pixelated is because it is an icon image. Since the image is only 256x256 pixels when you zoom in on it that will get you the pixely result. The reason why I zoomed in is so you can see it. But don't worry this is no the end result. Just continue reading and you will see.
So once you have created the icon go ahead and press
file>save as>(under format choose the ICO)>and choose the name that you want to name it. And save it in your C: drive. You will see why to save it in your C: drive in a sec.

So now that you have created the icon and saved it now you can create the new library.

Name the library whatever you want I named it "Sample" for tutorial purposes. Notice how it gives you a default boring icon image for your library.

So now once you have created and named your library now it is time to get the icon image into place.
Go to computer/c: Drive/users/YOU/ And now once you have reached this area you will need to access a hidden folder named "appdata" to do so press "Alt" then a menu bar will show. Click
tools>folder options>and view. Find the option to view hidden folders then press apply then ok. Now we shall continue so AppData>Roaming>Microsoft>Windows>Libraries
Now you should see all the libraries including the one you just created.

Once you have reached your destination then open a new text document with notepad and drag the library you just created in notepad. The result should look like this:

once you have reached this point click at the end of the second to last line down then press enter and enter in this information

It is Windows only because all those screen shots are exclusively Windows, the file structure and paths do not resemble those of the Mac in the least. As a Mac user, there's nothing I could take from your tutorial. Sorry,
No drives named with letters like C: on the Mac, for instance. No backward slashes either, ever. No such paths either. No "Notepad" on the Mac, we use TextEdit; but such a text editor is not remotely needed on the Mac to make and/or edit icons. Etc.
Those folders are not even called "Libraries" on the Mac… Nothing resembling your tutorial at all.
The icons in the Finder's Sidebar are not customizable at all in recent version of OS X.

Is there anyone know how to change the name of item level tab from "customer data" to our own tab name in screen exit for trans ME21N/2N/3N? Enhancement used is MM06E005.
And is it possible to show or hide the newly created tab using enhancement depending on the data displayed in tab? If so how?

No one could answer my question properly, so I decided to go the DHTML route; find the <DIV> element encapsulating the proper iView title, and then replace the innerHtml with the new title.... Ackward, I agree, but it works

I was thinking of saving the inputs in variables (starting in a) with previous value 0 following this logic:

Could you please clarify your question? Do you mean you need to call some business system from PI via SOAP? Or do you need to test integration model using SOAP client?
If the requirement is to make a SOAP call to PI (send SOAP request to PI system), please refer to the guide which Stefan suggested in his post. The general procedure is the following:
1. generate concrete WSDL in PI (you can do it via PI's Integration Directory);
2. import generated WSDL to SOAP client (e.g. XML Spy described in the guide or soapUI which is free SOAP client);
3. create SOAP request message in the SOAP client and send it to the endpoint (in this case, it will be sent to PI).
This is general procedure for making SOAP calls to SAP PI using external SOAP clients. Please advise if specified steps should be described in more details or if there are any questions from your side regarding them.

How to make Visible and Invisible using a Button?

hi!... I've a Text3D using Oriented3D object and I would like to know how to make it visible and invisible by clicking a button.
I know there is a function, setVisible() in RenderingAttributes, which can be set by the object's Appearance.
Since I want to use a button to change the object's appearance, I need to change it in the button's actionPerformed function, but it has thrown an exception:
"Shape3D: no capability to set appearance".
I'd tried using those setCapability flags... but still nothing...
Could someone help me please?...

When you create Shape3D, setAppearance to it and
setCapability(ALLOW_APPEARANCE_READ).
For the Appearance, you should setCapability(
ALLOW_RENDERING_ATTRIBUTES_READ).
For the RenderingAttributes, you should setCapability(
ALLOW_VISIBLE_WRITE).
So in the button event handler,
shape.getAppearance().getRenderingAttributes().setVisible(true/false).
Now you can control the visiblity of Text3D

You didn't mention which type of DBMS you are using (i.e. Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, etc), but in a nutshell using MS SQL here is the principle. Your time that is recorded in the records is dependent upon a setting in your RDBMS. For instance, the RDBMS can use the machine time (which would most likely be local time), or it can use the machine time with an offset (to accomodate GMT, for instance). GMT is factored differently based upon your time zone (and time of year, i.e. DST or EST, etc). I'm on the east coast so right now my offset is GMT - 5, so if my time right now is 1457, then GMT is 1957. To get SQL to compute an offset you must take the number of hours to offset and divide by 24 (24 hours in a day) and add that to the record in the database. For instance, to get GMT right now I would use:
select cast(getdate()5/24. as char(12))rtrim(convert(char(12),getdate()5/24.,8))' GMT'
Hope this helps. If you're on Oracle, then the mathematical principles remain the same, just the formatting will be different.

I would like to submit a paid iBook created using iBook Author and make it available to download in India. Apple does not support downloading paid iBooks in India. Is there a solution for this. Also, is there an enterprise deployment of iBooks ie limited distribution of paid iBook.

Apple requires that books can only be sold through the Store. See iBooks Author: Publishing and distribution FAQ - Support for details otherwise.

Materialized Views created using ROLLUP

Not sure if this one is best posted to a general Oracle forum, or even to the Discoverer Forum, but it's more to do with Data Warehousing so here goes...
1. If I create a materialized view, either with or without OWB, do I also need to separately create indexes on the materialized view?
2. If I create them using GROUP BY and ROLLUP (to create summaries that calculate all the subtotals along all hierarchies and dimensions), would any subsequent query have to use GROUP BY and ROLLUP to qualify for query rewrite?
3. If I create them using GROUP BY and ROLLUP, would the queries generated by Discoverer ever get rewritten, as I assume they would not use GROUP BY and ROLLUP as these were not features found in earlier versions of Oracle?
Any advice gratefully received.

Just to clarify:
1. Do MV's created without fash refresh capabilities still get indexes created automatically? If not, should you manually create them in this instance?
2. Can you confirm that, if a MV gets created using GROUP BY and ROLLUP (to potentially calculate all dimension intersections in one go), users queries to the base fact table do not have to use ROLLUP in their GROUP BY clause - they will still get rewritten ok?
3. You mentioned that Discoverer generates queries using GROUP BY - does it ever use GROUP BY ROLLUP if it knows it's working on an Oracle 9i platform?
I guess where i'm coming from, is that we're considering using the OLAP Summary Manager within OEM to create materialized views, rather than the normal summary adviser, as this creates MV's designed to hold (R)OLAP cubes (as detailed at http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96520/mv.htm#574241). I wouldn't however want to use these if user's queries had to specify ROLLUP in their GROUP by clause to qualify for query rewrite.
Getting back to OWB, are there any plans to improve the support for importing, designing and refreshing materialized views in the Paris release of OWB? Summary management is perhaps a bit of a weak spot in OWB, and it'd be good if Hierarchical Cube Materialized Views - which are an excellent new feature in 9i - were supported in future releases.

Enhancement Framework is the new paradigm to bring all enhancement techniques under one roof. It can also be switched using Switch Framework. The following are different enhancement technologies available under this framework.
• Source Code Enhancement
• Function Group Enhancement
• Class Enhancement
• Kernel-BADI Enhancement
Semantically related enhancement options are grouped under a ‘Simple Enhancement Spot’. ‘Composite Enhancement Spot’ contains one or more of Simple and other Composite Enhancement Spots. On the other hand (implementation side), various related implementation elements are grouped under a ‘Simple Enhancement Implementation’. A ‘Composite Enhancement Implementation’ can contain one or more of Simple and other Complex Enhancement Implementations.
1.Source Code enhancement
Whenever enhancement needs to be incorporated directly into the ABAP source code, this technology shall be provided. Implementing this technology is also called as Source Code Plug-In. There are two types of Source Code enhancements possible.
• Implicit enhancement option
• Explicit enhancement option

How to make "Read Report" pick up enhancement code as well

I want to enhance a SAP ECC6 program - H99CWTR0 (Wage type reporter). I need to add some more master data objects from other HR tables.
I have succesfully applied implicit enhancements to this program to allow my users to select extra data objects and to retrieve the relevant data from the database. However, the program reads a subroutine pool called H99CWTR0_ALV_TEMPLATE and makes dynamic run time changes and generates a temporary subroutine pool. I have also had to apply implicit enhancements to the template but this is not read by H99CWTR0. So I am unable to to keep the shared data segment in line with the driver program H99CWTR0 which leads to an ABAP dump.
I would prefer to make all changes to SAP programs using the enhancement framework rather than having to clone SAP programs into the "Z" namespace.
Is there a way of making the "Read report" pick up the implicit enhancement code as well as all the other includes in the template?

My enhancement to H99CWTR0 is being accessed, but the equivalent enhancement to H99CWTR0_ALV_TEMPLATE is not. Hence the discrepancy in the length of common shared data segment.
The ABAP line "read report iv_template into lt_code." in include H99CWTR0_FORMS is not reading the implicit ehancement code I added. So when the ABAP line "generate subroutine pool lt_code name ov_driver message mm line ll" is called to generate the temporary subroutine code my code is lost.
