i have atable with visible rowcount=5 when i click on add button anew row is added to table,that added row isby default not visible it is below 5 th row, what i want is, as soon as user clicks on add row, 6th row seen in place of 5th row,similarly 5th in place of 4th...............2nd row instead of 1st.can u please explain code for this scenario.

Hi,
You can use the following function to swap the elements
wdContext.nodeOrders().swapElements(index1, index2)
Ex: Swap node 5 to 4
wdContext.nodeOrders().swapElements(5, 4);
Or else while creating element use
Following one will always add the element at 5th location
IWDNodeElement element = wdContext.nodeOrders().createElement();
wdContext.nodeOrders().addElement(5, element);

They give you the basics in the User Guide. Actually more than the basics once you get accustomed to it and are able to recognize the more subtle tricks in the examples. But, there will still be some features that may be missed. Makes using the program a bit like an Easter Egg Hunt. We all like those, don't we?

How to make the library visible IN AN EXTERNAL disk?

Hello.
Searched this forum (found about 25 identical questions and answers "how to make the library visible").
I turned mine and it is constantly visible now.
Before installing Lion made a bootable image.
When I connect the external HD, I see it in the Finder side bar, click on users>myname and the library folder doesn't show up.
Tried the 3 ways to make it visible but they all bring back and show the Lion's library on my MBP, not the one in the external HD.
Any ideas?
(BTW, I am just an "amateur user", not too heavy, so just, please take in consideration that if you explain to me slowly I will understand quicly)...

Yes, I guess I used the wrong terminology. Anyway, I did a bootable disk/image/clone, however it's called, with CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner), which BTW I am using for at least 3 years and saved several times my behind.
So, if I understood you right, you mean booting from my external HD and make the library visible (I don't remember if the clone was made after installing Lion or still while in Snow L, but will check).
I'll try and update here if it worked.

There is no way to activate the company code field. If your Controlling Area and Company Code have one to one Assignment, then Company code is defaulted from the Controlling Area. However, if multiple Company Codes are assigned to one Controlling Area, then Company Code becomes a mandatory field in the Cost Center master data
Also, in case you have multiple company codes assigned to one controlling area, please check the setting of the Controlling Area in Configuration and see if have selected "Cross Company Code Cost Accounting" . Also, check if you have assigned all the company codes to the controlling area

How to make first row as selected in af:table

I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 and ADF-BC in my application.
In all the pages across my application we have multi select enabled for the table[af:table].
But when the pages are displayed,the first row is not selected by default.
My requirement is to display first row as selected across all the tables in my app.
I have the selectionListenerset as for example selectionListener="#{bindings.RSCMapVO2.collectionModel.makeCurrent}" in all the pages.
Please suggest on how to make first row as selected.

Hi Carol,
It depends on whether you want the numbers to move with the rows if and when you sort, or if you always want the rows numbered top to bottom.
There's a function that returns the row number: ROW(). Placing that in a cell always displays the number of the row. If you want to number once and then let the numnbers follow the data around, you can Fill with a sequence by typing "1" in the first row and "2" in the second row. Then select both cells and drag the Fill handle down the table to extend the series. The fill handle is the little open circle in the lower right corner of the selection.

How to make a tabstrip visible and invisible again?

I have a GUI with Fields, Texts, Checkboxes, Radio buttons, a Button and of
course a tabstrip with 7 tabs.
Before I want to show some data in the tabs of the tabstrip, I have to fill the fields, check a radio button and checkboxes. After filled all entries needed, I will start
the preparation of the data with clicking on the button.
Before the click on the button the tabstrip has to be invisible. After the preparation
of the data I will make the tabstrip with its tabs visible.
All this is in the same dynpro (e.g. 0100). I don't build it together with to dynpros.
I tried with LOOP AT SCREEN ... ENDLOOP, but the tabstrip does not appear.
The only attribute accessable is "activetab".
How to make that happen?

Suppose you have 3 screen:
- 1 main screen (100)
- 2 subscreen    (101, 102)
In the subscreen 101 you need to design your tabstrip (so you need to move your tabstrip from main screen), the subscreen 102 has to be empty.
In the PBO of screen 100:
PROCESS PBO.
MODULE SET_SUBSCREEN.
CALL SUBSCREEN SUBAREA INCLUDING V_REPID V_SCREEN.
In the module SET_SUBSCREEN, you insert the code you need to choose the right subscreen:
IF _SHOW = 'X'.
V_SCREEN = '0101'.
ELSE.
V_SCREEN = '0102'.
ENDIF.
The flag _SHOW is setted in PAI after pressing the button:
MODULE USER_COMMAND.
    CASE OK_CODE.
       WHEN 'SHOW'. _SHOW = 'X'.

How to make a row enabled for lead selection and make other Rows disabled?

What I require is:
In a webdynpro table , which can have multiple rows, I want to make the rows which are retrieved fom backend as disabled for selection.
And when I add a new row (using an ADD functionality) , this newly added row should only be enabled for lead selection.
The Table property "enabled" can be assigned a context , and can be used to control the disabling of whole table.But then if I add the new row to this table, even this will be disabled.
I can set lead selection to a the new row, but if the whole table is disabled, this won't work.
Please suggest a solution for this.

Do not set the enabled flag to the whole table but to the editors of each column. Bind the enabled property to a calculated boolean flag in the data source node. In the get method of this flag add a code that will make the editor enabled only if it belongs to the lead selection element.
Now do not allow the selection of rows in the table (there is a property for this, perhaps is named rows selection I don't remember well now), but change the lead selection of the data source node to the desired element when you add the element programatically.

As explained by Uwe, when we change a field ( say check box ) in ALV grid, the view (frontend) changes (showing the tick mark) but the changed data ( normally ) is not transfered to the backend.
We can initiate this data transfer by just registering the cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified edit event

go_grid->set_ready_for_input( 1 ).

This initiates data transfer to the backend and the checkbox field in internal table is updated.

How to view added rows in table; there is a horizontal line below which any added rows disppear! Pages version 5.1 which I DESPISE!!!!

I just replaced Pages after paying Apple $400+ for replacing a wiped-out hard-drive....
MANY HORRIBLE QUIRKS with Pages 5.1...
the one I listed above.....it's as if there is only one page....I can't see any added rows in the table below this arbitrary line drawn across the bottom! I can ADD the rows, but nothing I type in them is visible!

Do you have Pages '09 in your Applications/iWork folder?
