We have a requirement that we need to set an Address (Billing and Shipping) in OnDemand to be required. How can we accomplish this. Kindly let me know please.

The work around will be you can disable out of the box Address fields and use custom fields which you can have better control for making mandatory in filed level or layout level Or for any field validation.

You need to create a validation item that is triggered when the user clicks the submit button.
Set the validation type to "Function Returning Error Text".
Then add your validation into the "Validation Expression 1" field. Something like:

What are you trying ask exactly? Avery 18160 is listed as inkjet labels so obviously you need an inkjet printer. Then you use whatever software you want that has label templates. For example, Microsoft Word or iWorks Pages. Those aren't the only way to make lables, but are the most common.

You need a database type software like the free LibreOffice which when you go to print, can select the standard Avery label format.
You can buy the Avery labels you want in a office supply store, it should have a number or "compliant with Avery 6750" for instance.
When you go to print your database, it will put the information you want into the correct label format when you go to print. So you select "Avery 6750" as your "paper option" instead of legal, letter etc.
You place the labels paper side down in the printer, top facing in and click print on the computer and the labels are printed.
LibreOffice Database has the option of taking your Address book contents and importing it.
Under the File > Wizard > Address Data Source.
That's all I can help you with there. I haven't used LibreOffice to print out labels, so I don't know for sure if that capaicity is there or not, but it's a standard office practice for Office type software to do.
It is possible to manually create your own layout, but you have to print over and over until you get all the text right over each label.

How do you make the photos from your Address Book appear on your .Mac account? The new .Mac interface leaves space for photos in the contact cards, but I cannot figure out how to make the photos from my Address Book appear there. Is it possible to syncronize in a way that syncs photos too?

I have the same problem, my photo IDs from my computer Address Book will not sync with my .Mac account. I've asked two Creatives @ the Apple Store in Burlingame CA but they did not know the answer. I also ask the deminstrator of .Mac at MacWorld but when he accessed the Demo version at the show it too was void of pictures. All those who I've asked promassed to get back to me but hae not yet. My only conclusion is it doesn't work but may working in future versions. Does anyone have their .mac Address Book show the picture ID photo's from their computer version or know how to desplay these ID photo's on line?

I checked this screen settings for components for PM/CS orders. But I didn't get this field in that screen. Can anybody help me out on this?

Hi,
I need this to activate for all order types. I think this can be accomplished by user exit IWO10009, which will trigger during saving event. I didn't try for this but i used this exit previously for checking during saving event for some other field. I think this can be used here also so that while saving the system will check the field and if the field is empty, system will give the error message. some coding may required to check the field.
If you have any alternative idea kindly share.

How to make address and awesome bar not auto-expand?

I'm looking to customize firefox's appearance. I want two rows: one with the menu button, tabs, and awesome bar (in that order), and another with the forward/back buttons, address bar, home button, and bookmarks toolbar items (also in that order).
In both cases, the address bar and the awesome bar expand to fill all of the empty space (ei. my awesome bar starts spanning almost the entire row) and shrink as more items are added (ei. as I open more tabs). I would like to make it so they have a set size.

That's exactly what I did.
I created a chrome folder here: (home)/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/(....default)/chrome
Within which I created a userChrome.css file that reads:

Probably the best way is just to type straight text into a plain Word Processing template with tabs between the items.
This can be turned into a table very easily by selecting it all:
Menu > Format > Table > Convert Text to Table
To hide table cells:
Select the table > Table > Table > Cell borders > click on the line > None
I do recommend for longer term use it would be better to fill in your addresses into Address Book/Contacts where it can be used everywhere.

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to make address labels or envelope labels from my address book? I have done this before, but I recently upgraded my macbook pro to Lion, and now I can't figure it out! I spent hours yesterday trying everything I could think of, but no luck. Did you have an address list defined in your address book last year? If so, you should be able to access it in the new Address Book by clicking on "View" and "Groups" and then (hopefully) your previous list will be there. If it is, just select it and then go to Print. Under "Style" choose "Mailing Labels." Select Layout on the tab next to Labels, and then select the type of labels; then click Labels. Choose from the drop-down menu on the order --I think the default is postal code order. Choose whether or not to print the country. This should work!
If you did not have a Group defined previously, you can go to File and New Group to create one.

How do I make Address Book default for vCards

I use Apple Address Book (6.0) and have the Lion O/S 10.7.1on my 2 Macs. My Apple Address book syncs with my Gmail (Google Apps) contacts. Recently when I opened a vCard, Outlook for the Mac attempted to open the vCard. I cancelled this as I no longer us Outlook for the Mac, but have only used Apple Mail and Address Book for several months. As I cancelled the opening process, there was a brief message, "Rebuilding database". About 30 minutes later I realized that all contacts in my Apple Address Book were missing. I quickly looked at my Gmail contacts and saw that the only contact was the one for the vCard I imported. After recovering from a panic attack (I have over 2,000 names in my contact list), I went to my Macbook Air laptop, which was asleep during this time, and was able to export my Address Book to my iMac. The Macbook Air Address Book had synced with Google Apps the day before.
After the recovery, everything seems in order except when I check for duplicates in Google Apps Mail Contacts, I find that I now have 2,000 duplicate contacts. When I check for duplicates in Apple Mail I am told there are 83 duplicates.
I am still not sure what caused this to happen and I am still considering how to prevent this in the future, and how to resolve the duplicate contacts issue. I need to understate which contact list dominates - Apple or Gmail?
But my first step is to make Address Book the default for vCards. How to I do this. Next I will work on the duplicate problem.

I don't have or use Outlook 2011 but based on my past experience wth Outlook and Entourage it uses its own contacts by default and can't be configured to use an external resource. However, you might learn more on the Outlook support forums since this forum is primarily for Apple products.
