i have iweb but how to i make a picture show up when someone clicks on it in itunes

Hello,
I think for me its about as easy as 1-2-30000. What I mean is that I have 30000 mp3 that already have ID3 tag version 2.2 and above that were put on long before WMP11. It is not feasable to re-add all the album art for the 30,000 tracks that I have. When will there be a bug fix to address the issue on the phone itself.
I look on the internet and there seems to be forum after forum on the subject. To my mind this is a bug. The player on the N95 should be able to pick up album art that has been taggged as USER DEFINED (as every other player seems to).
I even tried adding the album art on the phone, then copied it back to the PC to see how the phone had tagged the track. Strangely enough, it appears to be the same as all my other tracks on my PC i.e. ID3 version 2.2 & art work categorised as USER DEFINED.
When will we get a fix?

Ok, like how do I make album art show up on my Nano ??

Firstly you need to put the album art in the id3 tag of the song.
Right click a song. choose "get info". Go to the album art section and add your album art. You can add the same album for multiple songs, just sellect more than one song. (ctrl+click or shift+click)

How to get album art on iPod?

How do you get a picture of the front of an album to come up on your iPod when you play that album? The computer I am loading the songs onto it with has no internet connection, however I do have another computer with iTunes also that does have a web connection (but no firewire, so I can't use it to upload the songs). Anyway, is there somewhere I can download the art for all the albums in my collection and then transfer that to the iTunes on my offline PC and get it to put that album art on the iPod 5G?

Here are a couple of methods.
First off, make sure you have "show album art" enabled in iPod options.  Go to Google Image Search and type in the artist/album name and click on search images.   Double click on a picture you like, then at the top of that page click on "see full size image".   When you get that image, simply copy/paste it into the space for album artwork in iTunes.   Make sure you select the album in the browser of iTunes before you copy/paste.   You'd be surprised what Google Images can bring up. There are literally millions, and even obscure album artwork can be found.
In the unlikely event that Google can’t find an image, you can also get artwork from Amazon.
If you’re happy using images from Amazon, and don’t want to copy/paste, then iTunes Art Importer is a nice free program to do it for you.

Doesn't matter anyway since the iPod 5th gen (video) cannot transfer songs etc via firewire only USB.

In the Grid view, *View > Grid View > Show Header* should expose the header. In the List view it's contolled by the size of the artwork column.

I have many scenarios where 60-70 songs will share the same imported album art. Is there a method to add the art to the bulk of songs all at the same time. Similar to the multiple item entry field?

You do it exactlky the same.
Select all teh songs you want, right click - get info.
Tick the box next to Artwork and drag or paste artwork into the box.

I just discovered that the best and possibly only way to get your album artwork to display on your nokia is to have the album artwork present in your iTunes album cover disply before trying to convert them to your phone.
Im not sure if a similar process would work for other media players. Its as simple as copying the image from windows explorer images into your album artwork box in iTunes and then importing your files again.

I'm trying to make albums for my movies but have no idea how too? I thought it was the same way you do it in the tv shows but it does not seem to be working. I'm Trying to make Same Groups of movies like transformers and Harry Potter. Can anyone help me?

How to restore album art?

We had a storm here one night, the power got knocked out and my ipod was sitting in it's docking station. When I rebooted, the ipod asked me to set it's language settings, etc. again.
As it is now, it appears to only of screwed up my album art, which only shows a little dot now where the cover would of been. I REALLY (make that REEEEALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYY) do not want to do a restore and copy all my 30 GB of songs back onto it.
Is there some way to just rebuild the artwork db on the ipod?

I don't think so...Although it'd be a hassle to load all 30GB of songs, it would be your safest and smartest choice to restore your iPod to factory settings and then go from there, though I can't guarantee that 100%.

How to get album art to appear on nano

Well, I have all of my songs in iTunes with album artwork, yet when I sync'd a songlist to the nano and play any song, no album art shows up. None. Zero.
This should be as easy as transferring the songs.
On the itunes window, it lists that 0 photos are on the nano. I even tried syncing a small iphoto library of 16 photos to it. The photos appear, yet NONE of the album art shows up for ANY of my songs.
Respectfully requesting a clue.

Thanks to all who've replied so far. When I get home to both my home Mac and the Nano I will try each suggestion step by step.
On the off chance I stopped by our local Apple store to ask a rep about it. His reply was "only album art that will show on the nano will be from songs you've purchased through the iTunes Music Store." I asked him to repeat that just to make sure I understood him.
I said so, all of the CDs I have now ripped into iTunes, and scanned artwork from the covers and sync'd in iTunes - will NOT show up on my nano when I sync the nano to my iTunes library. He said that's correct.
I think this guy is full of it. But then that's just my opinion.
Can anyone confirm that they have artwork showing on a Nano that was NOT downloaded from the iTunes music store? Rather - like most of us - ripped from a CD, artwork gracefully found from amazon and dragged to the iTunes window?

Oh - BTW, through out all this the nano reported 0 photos until I uploaded about 16 photos from the iPhoto library just to make sure that was working properly. It still reports 640 songs, 16 photos, capacity 3.7 Gb, Available 290 Mb, and version 1.0, serial # ###, Model PA005LL

*** How to get Album Art on your iPod Nano: ANSWERED!

I'll start by saying that my iPod Nano would not display ANY album art at all, even though it did in iTunes. I just added 180 albums to my iPod, and they all showed up, perfectly. Here's how I did it:
1) Move all the songs you want on your iPod into the iTunes music library. (Open iTunes, and drag the files over the "LIBRARY" catagory)
2) Click Music, under the LIBRARY heading.
3) Add the artwork to each song/album. I used "iTunes Art Importer". It's a great program, and is really easy to use/download.
4) Connect your iPod to your computer.
5) Remove any songs you have on the iPod.
6) Go to the Music tab, in the iPod control panel.
7) Sync all music files/playlists from your iTunes library.
If you did this correctly, all the album art you added in your iTunes library should display on your iPod. Be sure to have "Display Album Art on this iPod" checked off.

I have 2.0 USB on my laptop and pc and it still does not work. Just ot really worried about artwork ecause I don't look at it while it is playing.......

OK Gang... Since I didn't get a resolution here I decided to forego the 30 minute hold time and called Apple support. (I was just tired of seeing Prince's face on my James Taylor album!).
Here is how to resolve this issue:
In iTunes, select your phone and choose the 'Music' tab
Unselect 'Sync music' then click 'Apply' (basically sync again)
All your music should be removed from your iPhone at this point
Now select the 'Sync music' option again and sync again
