How to make an infoobject as an Infoprovider in 7.0

Hi Gurus,
Can anyone tell me how we can make an infoobject with master data as an infoprovider in 7.0. I went to infoprovider tab and added it as an infoprovider and
loaded the data again.The load was successful but still the data is not available for reporting.I cannot see my load request in the manage tab of the Infoprovider.

first one> Goto info provider Tab> select your info area> and right click it> and select INSERT CHARECTERSTIC AS INFOPROVIDER option..
and there you need to insert your info object name...
otherwise... when ever you are creating info object that time itself.. in the info object creation screenn-> Mastr data / texts tab---> selct Charecter Is a Info provider option..-> check that checkbox.. and enter your info area name in that text box.. and activate it.
so, this means.. from your info object you can able to load the data ..and ... generate a report... from this object..

Hi,
you can do that using an ABAP program in teh infopackage. You should write code to trigger an exception and throw a message if the selection is not given.
If it is possible to give selection by calulating a date like thing you can automate with ABAP code once again and can use it in teh process chain.

I have a Infoobject ZPOS_CAPO which has below attributes,
ZPOS_ZIPC
ZPOS_TYPE
ZW_LKCAPO
ZCOMP_COD
ZPOS_LAPO
While Uploading the data from flat file, i have to make ZCOMP_COD as a Mandatory.
When the data is not avialble for ZCOMP_COD , it has to throw an error message?
While Uploading the data manually, how can i make ZCOMP_COD as a Mandatory? I mean Without entering value for ZCOMP_COD , it should not save record.
Suggest me if you have any idea on this.

I am updating the data Manually for ZPOS_CAPO.
Like below procedure
selecting zpos_capo right click selecting Maintain Master Data
then it is asking below Entries
Point of Sale- APO c
Language Key
Point of sale - ZIP
Point of sale type
Warehouse link APO c
Company Code
Point of Sale - APO
Here when saving the entry with out Company COde value, the entry should not save.
But for Me it is saving the entry. So I have to make Company Code as Manadatory.
I do not have any Infosources for this.
Help me

How to make restriction for the description of value in the transformation

one infoobject AAAA which has value T001, T002, T003...
the description of value
T001 - Heywemay
T002 - Heyrtya
T003 - Tyuatyew
I need to make routine in the transformation, when the description of value that contains "Hey", then we need to load it into infoprovider, otherwise we need to delete data package. Now the issue is the filed in source is only Key, not description. But, we had maintained the description for infoobject AAAA. Anyboady know how to make restriction in the transformation, ?
that means we only need to load data into infoprover once the description of value that contains "Hey". Should I add field 0TXTMD into infoprovider and make the link from infoobject AAAA? Thanks for any input.

Write the Start routine to delete complete data packet whic won't have "Hey".
DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE WHERE TXTMD NP '"Hey'.
If you want load the data with blank for that InfoObejct if it won't contains "Hye".
Write this code at TXTMD infoObejct level.
if SOURCE_PACKAGE-TXTMD NP 'Hey' .
RESULT = ' '.
elseif SOURCE_PACKAGE-TXTMD CP 'Hey' .
RESULT = SOURCE_PACKAGE-TXTMD.
endif.
Note: In the above code I'm giving logic to do the same, but for code corrections please check with ABAPer.

Let me know how to make reports on FI Line items especially drill down reports. suggest me steps for developing reports through Bex query designer. Am new in reporting on FI. How to make the drilldown reports. Plz let me know step by step.

Step1
Lets take an example of ODS Accounts Payable: Line Items Technical Name: 0FIAP_O03
install all this 0FIAP_O03 ODS from the Business content.

Step2
After installing make sure that all the infoobjects and transfer rules and update rules are in active state
Step3
Now type the transaction code RRMX , you will get into the query designer
Step4
Select the Infoprovider from the above example 0FIAP_O03 . now you will arrive to the screen where you can see Rows and colums
Step5
Drag and drop the characteristic infoobject in to the row which is necesseayfor the report output
Step6
Drag and drop the Keyfigure infoobject into the column which is necesseayfor the report output
Step7
Now under Free characteristics draga and drop the charactor infoobject which you need to navigate in the reporting.
Note: Before dragging the objects in the freecharacteristic make sure that you need to check the navigation in the ODS level
Step8
Now save the report , when you save give the technical name of the report and save
now execute the report

How to add an infoobject to a DSO,on which an infoset is build.
In general common infoobjects can be for reporting purpose right?
Do I need to add the new infoobject in all the DSOs.My infoset consists of 6 DSOs.
If my concept is wrong.what is the correct method of extracting infoobjects from DSOs to Infoset.

Hi,
You need to add these two fields in the DSO only. Make sure that you are mapping these two fields in the transformation. After that, drop the data and reload the DSO. Then make changes to the infoset.
By Component, what I mean:
I'll take your example only...
Say, for Material_Group, this data is not coming to DSo data Source. In this case, even if you will add this object to your DSO, you wont be able to map this in the transformation as R3 filed is not available. Ultimately, you wont be able to load data for this. So, its worthless.
But, you have a master data called 0Material. and Material_Group is an attribute of this 0Material.In this case, you will add 0Material to the infoset directly, as a component of infoset(from the tab infoobject), and you will select Material group. In this way, we generally aceess the master data attributes.

How to make a mapping (transfer rules) when implement cProjects 4.0 BW 3.5

Hello all, i am implementing BW business content 3.5 with cProject 4.0 and i still solve question regarding mapping in transfer rules. First i didnt know which datasource belongs to which infosource, this issue i solved but now i am not sure how to make a mapping in transfer rules . It is not so easy to make a mapping because of nothing saying infoobject GUID. Can you please provide exact mapping of fields in transfer rules for cProjets datasource-infosource. Screen shoots of your transfer rules will be helpfull. Or if you have any documentation or scenarios for BW and cProjects implementation it will be appreciate.

I was able copy the hardrive of my old macbook from "My Passport" onto the desktop on an older iMac. but i dont know how to make my hardrive and user name be the main one since someone had used it in the past and had their info on the comp. please help!

I recently broke my 2008 macbook. i was able to use an external hardrive to back up my data onto My Passport. I was going to buy a new computer but a friend told me sher had an older version of the iMac. (not sure how old but it doesnt have a camera if that helps) i was able to hook it up and turn it on but i ran into a few problems. 1) the "authentic" user or whatever it says is someone who previously used the computer. i added me as a user but im not sure how to make me the main user. 2) after hooking up My Passport, i was able to drag my files and copy them to the desktop.(i think i did it correctly) now, i dont know how to make my hard drive and applications and iformation the "main " info. The current apps on the iMac are super old versions of iTunes and iPhoto and such. 3) while trying to open the apps from my macbook on the iMac, it said it didnt have the right software to open these apps.
I am so computer illiterate so someone please help!!! Also, i do not have internet in my new apartment yet so if there is a way to make this happen without using the internet that would be preferred. sorry for the horrible spelling and poorly written paragraph.

You are not going to be able to run your old system from the backup on this old computer as the hardware is incompatible.
You need to get a new computer or a refurbished one.

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

Download a piece of software called TinkerTool - that might just solve your problem. I have used it myself to change the system fonts on my iMac. It is software and not an app.

and one more that kff field working is fine for ex display any text pled displayed properly and only problem is not set the value and HrSitKeyFlex6 and HrSitKeyFlex7 fields are perfectly get the values but not pront HrSitKeyFlex8 that only my issue....

How to make a JPanel selectable

When extending a JPanel and overriding the paintComponent() method the custom JPanel can not be selected so that it gets for example KeyEvents.
But if I make the new Class extend a JButton it gets of course selected and able to receive for example KeyEvents.
My question is therefore; what does the JButton implement that a JPanel doesn’t so that a JButton gets selectable? Or in other words; how to make a JPanel selectable?
