How to make animated flash charting?

Hi
I am trying to use the flash chart components. How can I
create an animated chart.
Regards.

This is way too general a question - flash has its own set of
drawing tools or you can import
graphics - tell us what you are trying to animate and be
specific.

How to make adobe flash player content on websites run on safari browser of my ipad?do I have to install adobe flash player on my ipad ?

The flash add-on is not available for Safari on iOS. Never has been and in fact Adobe has ceased support for flash for mobile devices in general. Your options, depending on the specific sites:
See if the site or sites in question have their own apps availabel in teh app store
Look into some browsers such as Puffin adn iSwifter (there are others, I beleive). These browsers use a third server site to translate the flsh content into a form that the iPAd can use and restreams them to you. They may not work with all content.
Use a computer capable of running flash.
Seek a source of the conent that is designed for non flash use.

  • How to make a Flash site more searchable

    Hi all,
I was wondering how to make a Flash site more searchable in
search engines. I'm guessing it is with meta tags, can anyone tell
me which meta tags or if there are any other hints or tricks.
    Thanks,
    MediaMan5335

Sad to say MediaMan5335, there's no real defined way to read
a Flash movie file. Currently there are tips and tricks to do it,
but all of them are merely patches to somethin long overdue and
needed. Since Google is setting the trend, the best way to gain
ranking is to follow their set of new rules.
There were several ways to gain rankings, whether is be
paying your way to the top, putting multiple links within your
site, or placing tons of words that would be read by spiders.
Google has multiple articles pertaining to Search Engine
Optizmization or SEO. Head on over to Google and just type in
"Google SEO" and you'll find a multitude of articles.
Right now to answer your question, META KEYWORDS and META
DESCRIPTION are your best tools for METAs. Having legit links
    INBOUND and OUTBOUND will help.
Currently there a several companies working on allowing SWFs
to be read by Search Engines. Hopefully this helps answer your
question. SEO can be a daunting thing.

  • How to make a flash/xml site?

I'm no stranger to html, actionscript, dreamweaver, or flash, but I seem to be in a bit of a rut, here.
Note: I'm not asking anyone do do the work for me. it would just be really helpful to have access to source fla's, templates, tutorials, etc.
Basically, I want to make an animated, dynamic-width flash site to show off my projects, portfolio, and company information, but I'm absolutely overwhelmed. D:
Here's the concept I've come up with:
As you can see, the idea is a simple monochrome layout with a top and bottom bar, and a "moving" sidebar. Regardless of window-size, I want to make the bars stretch all the way across the screen, except for the bottom one, which will only go 100-200 pixels away from the right edge.
So my question(s) is(are) basically, where do I begin?
Should I use xml or just flash?
Should it be broken up into small swf files or be one big one
One swf file per page, or one for the whole site?
How do I go about making a dynamic width layout in flash?
What's the best method to make animation "transitions" between pages?
Do I need a preloader, and how do I make one?
Is there anything else I should know (tips, advice) before I start?
    I'm not sure if I missed anything or not... ^_^;
I know I'm asking a LOT, but answers to any (or all) of these questions would be greatly appreciated, and I'd be forevereverever in your eternal debt.
    thanks for everyone's time!
    Sincerely,
    Eric

If you are going to want to update your content on a regular basis, say weekly or monthly, then you may want to use XML. If you site will remain pretty constant, then there's no need for that extra layer of complexity. A good design methodology is to create one base movie and then create a series of additional movies that hold the content. I always try to design so that the user has no or very little wait time when they move from one section to another. This means that each content movie needs to be pretty small in file size.
You probably want to go through the tutorials that come with Flash to get you started in how Flash works. You might want to pick up a book or two and visit some of the Flash sites that contain tutorials. Good books: Flash CS3 Flash Bible, Actionscript 3 Cookbook, Flash CS3 for Designers, Adobe Flash CS3 Professional Classroom in a Book. • How to make simple flash audio player?

I have some mp3 files in Quicktime format that I would like to put on a webpage. Each file, when clicked, come up in a separate page and play.
My question: how can I modify these page with mp3 file so I can add some explanatory text to the page? Right now the site visitor just clicks on the link, a new page comes up and plays the file. But I can't modify what comes up. Nor can I even see Page Source.
If there is a better way to implement my audio files to visitors can play the file and see the explanatory text at the same time, I would appreciate your suggestions.
The specific page which contains the links is:  http://www.englishjapaneseonlinedictionary.com/dictionary_my_Japanese_teacher.ht m
If you click on any of the files you will see the problem--I can't modify the page which comes up and plays the audio file
Someone suggested I make a flash audio player to embed in a page. I know nothing about Flash. Can anyone direct me to some resources where I could make a flash player to play my files and that would allow me to add some other textual content to a webpage?

  • How to make animated blood in Photoshop CS6?

I am wondering how I can make animated blood using Photoshop CS6. I have looked for tutorials and can't find anything. I want to make a render look like it's crying blood, so the blood would be running down the cheeks and dripping off the chin. Please help!

There isn't going to be really an automated way of doing this. Animation in Photoshop is very simple. You can basically animate just position and scale (also Layer Effects, but that generally isn't as helpful). You could, of course, hand animate this by drawing each individual frame like traditional animation. Each frame of animation would be a separate layer and you could animate the layer visibility. Or you could draw the last frame of blood flow on one layer and animate a mask that slowly reveals the blood trail.

  • How to save a Flash Chart to a local file

We created a Flash Chart page with Apex 3.1.2. After this 2D line Flash Chart displayed on the screen, is there a way to save it to the user's local machine? So they can view or print the chart they saved later on.
I have found some info. on anychart.com, http://www.anychart.com/products/anychart/docs/users-guide/index.html?SaveAsImage.html. But I don't understand how to implements those steps in Apex and/or on the localhost running APEX.
    Thanks.
    -Michele

    Michele,
    Method 1:
If you goto any test interactive report page in your apex application and from the actions menu, choose the chart option, pick the type of chart and the label and value column, click apply to display the chart.
You can then right click the chart to show the version being used and the 'save to image' option will be there if it is version 4.
    Method 2:
In anychart 3.x, each type of chart has a different flash file to reference from the apex page.
In anychart 4.x, each type of chart references the same flash file, they were combined into one for ease of deployment, etc.
This flash file is normally located in the apex images structure /images/flashchart/swf/AnyChart.swf
Your path to images may differ. If you have this file, then version 4 is already installed

  • How to make adobe flash player always on in the firefox?

I have a desktop pc with OS windows 7. I used daily firefox about 7 hours and more. Everytime i open firefox and go for the search page like youtube and videos sites an authorization noticed me to confirm to Allow adobe flash player. And also open a new tab and go the video sites also asks the same everytime i switced allow to adobe flash player to works. How i resolve this problem. And how to switch always adobe flash player to be on.

Your Shockwave Flash plugin probably is set to "Ask to Activate" (which means, click to play). You could try switching it to "Always Activate" on the Add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins.
If Firefox only offers the options of "Ask to Activate" and "Never Activate" then most likely the version you have is on the "block list." This is a regularly updated list of add-ons that are either out-of-date or malicious. If you can approve the plugin to run as needed, then it is a "soft block" that eventually will turn into a hard block where you will not be able to enable it at all.
I realize Flash 11.3 and higher can create a lot of problems in Firefox. Most of these are due to the protected mode feature. If you eventually have to update, the following pages provide different ways to disable the feature:

  • How to make a flash starter (to other flash animations)

What is the code I must use when I click on a button (goto1_btn), it loads another flash animation (1.swf) which has a back button (back_btn) to return at the starter? (gallery)
(Note: I'll use more than 30 btn on the starter → at the end: more than 30 swf in the folder)
    Thanks

I won't be writing out all the code you will need for this since it can get fairly involved for what you describe wanting.  As part of your learning you should also learn how to find coding solutions.  Google and the Flash Help documentation are two of the best tools available for this.  Search Google using "AS3 Loader tutorial"  You might even want to try searching for "AS3 gallery tutorial"

  • How to make animations less chopy? opinions, advice require

Hi guys ive been using flex now for about 2 years. Love flex dont have to much to  complaint about it is  extremely flexible however i have one simple question that i just dont quite understand and im hoping someone here can shed some light. Picture this. I have a grid and a call to a webservice. when i click on the grid item it makes a call to the webservice once the webservice returns the array of items i  want to play an animation. But what i have noticed is that at the point the dataprovider is assign to the grid  the application basically freezes. This is due to the fact that by assining the dataprovider to the grid flex internally is looping the colletction and passing it to the grid. Well if you are trying to play and animation while the dataprovider is being assignt the animation gets choppy... is there any techniques around this? I would really love to hear about how other people have overcomed this challenge or I'm i the only idiot thats dealing with this.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Miguel

If you use XML to get data from the server, then unmarshalling of data to create objects takes a heavy toll on the processor.
If you use Blaze DS or LCDS, deserialization from binary data is a breeze and it doesn't hit the processor as much.
Now, if you don't want to change your service, consider using TimeSlicing:

Good read about the Flash Player "elastic racetrack":

  • How to make animations float with transparent background

I am taking a graduate course in adv. web design for an ed
tech program at a university. Neither my instructor nor anyone else
in my class knows how to get Flash animations to have a transparent
background, or even if this is possible. On behalf of us all, I am
wondering if it is possible to create a Flash animation without a
background--or with a transparent background, and then superimpose
it onto a web page so that the web page's background shows through
all but the animated part. We are using Flash 8. If it is possible,
can someone please tell us how to do it? I have seen web pages
where the animations float over the web page. Are these animations
made with Flash or with another program? Thank you!

Yes, it's easy, but haven't done it for a while, and not
since all the new ActiveX stuff on MS IE requires Java Script to
make the dotted outline go away.
To do it well takes a combination of Flash with the
publish-settings HTML Window Mode set to Transparent Windowless,
and tightly-designed CSS with your animation positioned in a div
that lies or overlays the exact place on the HTML page where you
want it. You can even have it scale to the entire visible window,
which can be quite cool. I did one for the holidays with snow
falling over an HTML page. It can block lnks from working, though,
so you can have the div (and animation) disappear when the
    animation is done.

  • Anyone figure out how to make a Flash w/transparent bkgnd yet?

It's been a while since I tried my hand at developing Flash animations that I could drop into a Keynote presentation. My big disappointment when I tried a year or so ago was that you couldn't export the animation in such a way as to play in Keynote with a transparent background. Best you could do as far as transparency went was some sort of HTML export and only in the Windows version. Or some such madness.
Anyway, it would be great to be able to create animations (as slick as Flash can make them) that would play in KYN.
Anyone have a nice solution (maybe even non-Flash)?
    PowerBook (15" Al PBG4)   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Anyone know if Flash Pro 8 has improved the transparent background issue? We used to be able to put a man on the moon. So much computing power later we can't have simple animations with transparent backgrounds?
I hope I'm not the only one who wants to be able to generate a Flash-style animation with a transparent background that I could drop into a Keynote presentation.
My hat's off to Kyn for finding a way (there was a will)!
I'm hoping for a simpler solution. Maybe there's just no demand for this feature, or it's hugely difficult to code.
In the meantime, I'll keep trying to pound Keynote's animation set into something I can use.
