If you have iOS 5 then:
Organizing photos and videos
You can create, rename, and delete albums on iPod touch to help you organize your photos
and videos.
Create an album: When viewing albums, tap Edit, then tap Add. Select photos to add to the new album, then tap Done.
Note: Albums created on iPod touch aren’t synced back to your computer.
If not iOS 5 you can't.

I have the exact same question. Many of my family members are elderly and would enjoy a printed photobook. My Ipad seems like the perfect place to create this sort of album and then have it printed. However, the only app I have found is the HP Photobook Lite app. The app is very limited, limited backgrounds, frames, shadows etc. Also, the only option for printing is magcloud which prints a soft copy magazine type photobook.
Have you found anything that will offer the ability to create a beautiful photobook quickly? I also saw an app called Bookfactory, however, it is Swiss so I think it will not be in English and I do not know if they will ship to the US or the cost. At the moment you need to do it on your computer prior to syncing, you can't do it directly on the iPad. If you sync multiple folders from your computer (which you need to do together in one go as only the most recent sycn remains on the iPad) then each folder will get it's own album on the iPad. If you create a new Album it will give you the option to add photos to this new Album simply navigate to where Album A is, select your pictures, then navigate to Album B select your pictures here and select Done and these will copy over to your new Album.

Can anyone explain how I can create another Photo Album on my iPhone to go with the Camera Roll & Photo Library?
I would like to create a Folder that would be specific to certain photographs on the phone so I don't have to look through the entire library.

You don't create the folders on the iPhone. You do that through iTunes and syncing the files.

If you have a first Generation iPad then you cannot update beyond iOS 5.1.1
However you may be able to get compatible versoins of the Apps. To do so, you will have to download the App to iTunes on a computer or another device that does support the App using the same Apple Id you have on your iPad.
With that done you can follow these instructions from your iPad to get a compatible version:

You can only arrange albums by name or manually. So you would have to make the data a part of the name, if you want to sort by date. It might help to group the albums in folders by year or so.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

When I delete a photo from a page, it does not stay in the assets panel. My client uses in browser editing daily. Once a week he changes a photo just for a day, then needs the previous photo to replace it. The original photo is not in the asset panel (or folder) for him to choose.
When you upload a photo, it has an arrow in the asset panel. How do you use this as an asset?

Sure ... right mouse click on your page and choose 'Exclude Page from Menus' :-)

Unable to copy and paste a phote from my photo library to another photo album

iphoto 6.0.6 unable to copy and paste a photo from my main library album to another photo album. why does the copy and paste function not work for these albums. I have tried to drag it and drop it into the album, but nothing works. it this a bug? When I created the album several years ago, I was able to copy and paste photos into it, but now when I try to copy and paste nothing happens. Again I ask, is this a bug?
