How to make Bridge default viewer

Is there a way to make bridge open automatically when my camera card is inserted. I know I can set up Lightroom to do this but I want Bridge to open first.

To complete this FAQ question.
I found in the installation folder of CS3 for windows Vista64 ["C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/Shell"
] ( must be adjusted for other windows number) a dot bat file with this in it.

It should be

Program Files (x86) being the folder for 32 bits applications on the 64 bits Vista.
This was an adobe bat file for windows.

How to change the default view of published iCal's URL

I am publishing an iCal for a nonprofit group and link to the calendar from the group's website. The default URL given (in the send publish email option) leads to the week view of the current week. I would prefer the link to take site visitors to the month view of the calendar. If I go to the month view and copy the URL for it, and use that for the link, I have to change the URL each month, because the URL that comes from the month view will only show the month it was at the time I copied the URL -- it will not change with the new month. Does anyone have any idea of how I can change the URL so that it leads to the month view of whatever the current month is?
I should note that I know how to change the default view in the my browser, but I would rather not have to explain how to do this to all the people viewing the calendar -- just wanting the correct month view to show up when they click the link, without having to change it each month.
I would be so grateful if anyone has some insight on this!

The fact that this question has been left unanswered for over 2 months seems a little negligent on the part of Apple Support.

In direct response to your questions, I would say that (as observed by the OP) anyone who subscribes to a published calendar can make a change to their desired view using the "Preferences" icon which is displayed underneath the mini-month calendars.
There is no way that I know of to directly or conveniently change the time-range. There may be workarounds, but I could not find a suitable solution for you.
I would recommend that you provide iCal Feedback, if you are interested in informing Apple of your desires.

From the iTunes menu bar try View>Show View Options. Make sure what you want to see is checked and what you don't is unchecked. You can do this (may need to do this) for any playlists, your main Library, etc.

How to make the default tree row selection programatically

I have one use case where I am displaying the tree table based on some parameter which is just for filtering the table and display the part of hierarchy.
The problem here is I want to make a default selected row when the tree will be rendered to UI based on the primary key(that is the input parameter).
can you please tell me how to do this.I am using jdev 11g.

Hi,
for this you need to know where in the path the PK is. If e.g. the PK is for a second level node then you need to pass the first level node PK as well. Nodes in a tree are defined as ArrayLists. So unfortunately your question doesn't provide enough information

Question in title. I accidentally did something in iMovie '11 and it changed the view to what you see below:

This is iMovie 10 (the latest), not iMovie '11 (=iMovie 9).
The appearance is what you get if no project is active. If you double click on a project icon or Select File - New Movie, the timeline should appear.

Answer to how to make PSE12 default for jpgs

Earlier I asked for help in how to make PSE12 the default program to open jpg files. I wasn't able to get my problem resolved. Until today. I contacted Adobe Tech Support.
You need to locate your file. Mine is at C/Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Photoshop Elements 12/PhotoshopElementsEditor.
The Editor file did not have an extension name and needed to be renamed to PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe.
As soon as I did that, I was able to make it the default.
Your Adobe program may be in a different place, but the steps would be the same.

Find a closed psd file. Click it once to highlight it and press command+i for the Get Info window. Under Open with Application choose PSE, then click Change All.

Go to your home folder -> Library -> Preferences. Locate the file com.apple.Finder.plist and trash it. Then control-option-click Finder's Dock icon and select Relaunch. All Finder settings will now be back to the OS X defaults.

Id, Ai, and Ps file types are associated correctly in Bridge CC and work fine, however, JPGs don't. When I click on the file thumbnail I get the following:
I no longer have Ps C5; all my apps are now CC.
I'd like to associate JPGs in Bridge CC to default to Windows Photo Viewer (that seems to work just fine, otherwise), but I cannot manually re-asscociate the JPG file types in Bridge CC because when selecting to choose the program in "Browse" (to set it to Windows Photo Viewer) the WPV folder is empty—go figure!! I don't get it.
Anyone have any ideas how to correct this?

I'm brand new to the Apple world (2 days), having been a PC user forever.
I've got a Macbook Pro with Leopard 10.5.1.
Somehow I made "Preview" my default photo viewer. How do I change that so iPhoto is the default application instead.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. That's they way it should be. iPhoto is an image management tool/database and, as such, has to import the photos into it before it can display them. So any photo file outside iPhoto must be viewed by another application like Preview. OR, just select the photo file and hit the Space bar to QuickLook at it (works with any file).
If you have a 3rd party editor like Photoshop Elements you can set it as the default application with which to open that file and any other like it. Select one of the files and type Command-i. In the Info window that comes up select the application you'd like to use in the Open With menu and click on the Apply to All button. This will set every file of that file type to open with the selected application. iPhoto, however, is not one of them for the reasons I stated above.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

I am aware I can set default values for new infotype, but I need to set default value for same infotype, let me explain the scenario.
Currently employee is on one pension scheme which is called NE1 and now we are moving this employee to CRESP Pension Scheme.
When employee is in NE1, his IT0071 has got a opt in field with a flag on, when the same employee is moved from NE1 pension scheme to CRESP Pension scheme, his new IT0071 record should have the same opt in field with a flag on, I want it to set this flag automatically using dynamic action. I dont want to update this field manually, while moving from NE1 to CRESP.
Currently the below dynamic action is coded when employees are being moved form NE1 to CRESP, but now they will have a opt in flag which should appear automatically, What needs to be done to make this happen?
Please let me know if I set default value for the Opt in field for the same infotype.
