How to make compressor give me 1280x720 h.264 from my 1440 x 1080 sequenc

can someone please tell me how to make compressor give me 1280x720 h.264 from my 1440 x 1080 sequence, with compressor I load up my high defition h.264 but i cant see where i can chage the size, I can tab on the preset and change max bit rates and other stuff but not to make it 1280 x 720,

In Compressor 3's Settings window:
Apple > Apple Devices > H.264 for Apple TV
this is one of the presets that is supplied as standard and it is pre-configured for H.264 1280x720 output
if you're building your preset from scratch then you can set the output frame size in the Dimensions area of the Geometry pane

I bought new IMac and I have a lot o pictures in my old Imac. How to make a mass copy or transfer so files will sorted as they are in old IMac Iphoto?

Are the photos on the old iMac in iPhoto? If so just connect the two Macs together and copy the iPhoto Library from the old iMac to the Pictures folder of the new iMac.
If you already have an iPhoto library with photos in it on your new iMac be sure to rename the old library to something else so it won't overwrite you new library.
If you want to merge the two libraries into one library either the latest verson of Aperture or the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager can be used.

How to make the price in PO to adopt from info-record and not changeable?

Hi Xperts,
Can somebody explain to me how to set the PO price to be adopted from the info-record and is NOT CHANGEABLE at the creation and change of PO screen. I know that i can configure the field selection for the PO type to be "price as display" only. Any other solution?

tick the check box info-update at the item detail under master data tab in a PO.
its significance is as follows:-
Info record update
    Determines whether the prices and conditions of this purchase order item
    are suggested in future PO items.
Use
    Selecting InfoUpdate causes one of the following situations to occur:
        -   If just one info record (with or without plant) exists, it is
            updated.
        -   If no info record exists and "plant condition requirement" was
            specified in Customizing, an info record with plant is created.
            Otherwise, an info record without plant is created.
        -   If two info records exist (that is, one info record with plant
            and one without plant) the info record with plant is updated.
Dependencies
     You can specify that prices and conditions in purchasing info records
     are only allowed at plant level in the Purchasing IMG, under Conditions
     -> Define Condition Control at Plant Level.

HT2623 How to make my full name disappear when sending from my primary email address.

I would like to make my full name disappear when sending from my primary email address. so the recipient when receives my email can see only my email address, i.e. email address of the sender. In Preferences, Accounts, my full name is greyed out and I cannot change it. If I try to do Custom, it would let me change it, i.e. delete my name from Full Name box, but then when Mail is closed and reopened, it would lose the previously saved Custom setting and go back to the same. All my other aliases associated with this email account work ok and the receiver sees only the email address.
Does anyone know what is going on?

What if you remove the .mac account from the Accounts panel under mail Preference?
If that doesn't work, sign into the webmail at me.com, click the "sprocket" button and select preference, in preference go the the aliases tab see if you can remove the email address with your name. If not, go to composing tab see if there is anything you can remove from the +Identity: send email as field+. Good luck.

When i use a BAPI for update some SAP table i always call the BAPI inside a program and then i call the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT for made the changes and validate them
Bot now i need to test the BAPI directly in SE37 , and the BAPI returns the sucess message but i can not see the changes in the SAP tables , i guess i need to make the Commit but how can i do this ?
by calling the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT directly in SE37 after the call to the other BAPI ?

How To make certain that a page is removed from memory, silverlight

I have a big solution with several branches. These branches was tested individually for errors and memory issues, using VS profiler and debugger. A final solution was found that at highest with animations and music peaked to 100mb, of course high but should
not be an issue for Windows phone applications, even for low end devices. The branches was then collected to one main branch. A new test was run, and suddenly the memory spiked up towards 200mb and crashed on phones and emulators with out of memory exception.
We at the team then tried:

This was discussed on forums to help with page memory leakage, this however did not solve the issue. We therefore wanted to investigate if pages and other elements got deconstructed and GC.Collected. This we did by implementing deconstructors:

This confirmed our fears that the pages, popups and controls did not get garbage collected, even if we sat everything to null, or
set everything to private functions. Our code is implemented in a MVVM structure, we therefore looked to ViewModelLocator, and removed the servicelocator, as to force a new viewmodel creation for every page creation.
This showed that the viewmodels got garbage collected upon navigation, but the views and usercontrols did not. We therefore searched around for the issue and found some links that could help us, referring to IDisposable, we therefore tried with the following

This however only increased the memory usage by 20 mb, for every call to dispose. Which hopefully would mean that we have misunderstood the use of IDisposable.
Questions:
Therefore quite confused, I have learned from my similar question on Stackoverflow, that I should use the VS profiler more intently to find references, but I have not succeeded in finding anything with the profiler. And I do not understand why the
deconstructors are not fired when I know no references exists.
Therefore would it help to implement IDisposable and how should it be done in a windows phone Silverlight context?
Should I do something specific when I utilize the MVVM structure?Any proposals on how to force the deletion and how to do the deletion correctly?
Or is there some other way to go about it, to ensure that pages with all information is removed.

One way i can suggest is to use 'Using' statement(obviously if not already did that) wherever it is required to work with resources such as opening a connection to database, file operations etc. With this, the resources are disposed automatically as soon
as 'Using' block goes out of scope.

I honestly hope that this thread title makes sense. Allow me to explain my predicament.
Someone has created a map where there are little colored buttons over building locations. The buttons were made so that when you hover your cursor over them, they will bring up a little chat bubble (like the ones you see in comics) with the appropriate street address text. What I cannot figure out is how to, after removing the cursor from over a button, make the text bubble stay put so that those who see the map can highlight then copy and paste the street address from it.
Is there any advice?

It kinda depends on what version of actionscript you're using, but one that may work for AS2 and AS3 is to use setTimeout to call a function that does what your rollout code currently does... meaning in your rollout function you use: setTimeout(callFunction, x-seconds)... where callFunction is a function that contains what your rollout function did originally.

I have a listbox that gets filled with data when my program starts. I save the last selectedItem value so I set it when the program start again. But the color that the selected item has is not the same as if the user click on it (pictures below).
The color when I set the selectedIndex=someItem is black on light grey (background)
The color when the user clicks on the item is white on blue (background)
Any way to make them both white on blue (background)?

I think the difference is focus. When you use the mouse to select it also sets focus to the listbox so you would have to set focus to the listbox when you set the selected item. How are you setting your selected item? I think that by
using a property to hold the selected item rather than setting the index that might also fix the problem.

If I am understanding what you are wanting to do, create an A3 size page, put any guidelines on it that you may need. Create two pages (assuming it is two-sided). Use one of the pages as the outside, one of the pages for the inside.
For the outside (the "cover"), typically the right-hand side is the side one sees first, the left-hand side being the back.
Communicate with the printer (the print service that is) about it being a folded job.

ADF FACES: how to make a page re-render after returning from a dialog

Using EA15.
I am using a process to display a confirmation dialog to the user. However, when the dialog exits, the previous page is not re-rendered. The result of the operation that was confirmed by the dialog makes numerous changes to the underlying model that affect the layout of the original page. All these changes are made in the return listener.
How can I force the original page (the one that launched the process) to fully re-render upon return?

My situation is slightly different then the original poster's. I have a table with a 'add row' button in the header, and a 'modify row' button in each row. They both point at the same dialog to enter multiple data attributes about that row of data from a collection in the model. The 'modify row' pops a dialog and modifies item fine, but doesn't re-render the table automatically on return. If user performs any action on the page, the resulting table will then show the correct data. The 'add row' button on the header, but otherwise identical, modifes and re-renders correctly.
I would think this is a fairly common use case. Anyone have example code of this that can be shared? The ADF dialog demo only modifies a single uicomponent, not the entire row or table. And we have other code which demonstrates that works fine.
Is there a problem with a row button return listener adding a partial target of the table in which is resides? Whereas the header button (being outside of the table?) is capable of adding the table as a partial target?

Hello i have a Lion USB stick that i bought from apple just after lion 10.7 came out but what i would like to do is burn it onto a bootable DVD just like my snow leopard is (my computer came with snow leopard). i have seen altot of videos and instructions on the internet about how to do it but for some reason those methods only work if i download it from the apple store but i don't want have to do that since i already have it on a USB stick that cost me $79.00. may someone please let me know how i can do this?

well i'm having the same problem with solaris 10 cds.
i did download them through my os downloads manager. Burned them to cds..... from iso to files, i can't boot on cd then.
then i did download the whole iso files using SDM, burned these files with several iso burners...... the result stills the same i just cant make a bootable cd....... or at least the pc i'm using doe NOT recognise that cd as bootable.
It does boot with any other os bootable cd... win, mandrake, red hat, debian, unbuntu linux....

I'll try to explain.
I have a db-view.
I have instead of triggers on this view.
The user queries my view. A set of records appears on screen (for example 15).
The user changes some attributes for 2 records.
Other records stay in retrieved state. Or he does not change any record at all
The user wants all 15 records to be committed in database. Even this records are not updated on screen.
There is logics in instead of triggers, that makes real table-updates.
I'm not a guru in jdeveloper.
I thougt it is possible make records dirty after retrieving from database. In that case the jdeveloper can use normal commit-button without extra coding from my side.
The problem: I can not put retrieved record in dirty status.
If I use populate method in VO I get the error when I query my view for the second time.

Please guide me how to make my laptop to its original state from manufacturer

Good day all!
Awhile ago I had a problem to login. Windows start-up was normal but i couldnt login to my user. So i had to perform start-up repair but still my bootmngr was corrupt. some file was missing. I had to format it with regular copy of windows 7 boot cd. I performed quick format for only C drive wich contains OS. Recovery drive (D) and HP tools(H) drive all were untouched.
After the format i installed all drivers but I cant use my laptop as it was like before (from manufacturer). Before I did factory restore(reset) using files from recovery drive.
Now I cant do factory reset even i have recovery drive.
How i can make my laptop (OS and all keyboard and touchpad settings) as it came from manufacturer.
Now i cant use even my biometric.
Any Ideas.
PS : Recovery drive has all 21gb and its 2 gb free. as it seems all factory data is there. But i cant do factory reset from now installed windows 7 home premium 64 bit

If you set the recovery partition to active by use of Windows 7 Disk Management mmc, you should be able to boot to the HP Recovery Manager and preform a factory image recovery. (mmc = Microsoft management Console)
Click on the Windows Orb and type in disk management. Click on the icon that appears to use the disk Management mmc.
