How to make Cost Center display/default at expense level in PR05

Dear Friends
I've a requirement in Travel Mgt where in PR05 at each expense line item level i need cost center to be displayed by default as 100%. Is there any possibility at the config level or Exit level to make it default.
Currently we are using a Exit: ZXTRVU03 for Cost center & Business area validation. where my client has given us a cost center ranges to make business area as default explicitly only for Travel Mgt. for ex: we have a Cost center range as 74001 - 74018 for this range the default business area for Travel Mgt must be 101 and for HR & FI it can be 101-110 any range. Based on that we have written a program using the Exit ZXTRVU03. Now the problem we are facing is in Master data the employee is falling under the above mentioned costcenter and HR has given a business area which falls under 101-110 (take example as 105)
Now the issue here is, based on the Master data, when we incur any expense in PR05, the Business area 105is coming by default for any of the expense. Now as per my client, this is wrong. It must be 101 at any cause. So, based on that we have made an enhancement that if user changes the Cost distribution to 100% or make the cost distribution with splits like 50% with home cost center & 50% with another cost center then only our enhancement gets triggered. But user is not satisfied with the solution provided, as we cannot expect users to change the cost distribution unless there is a split. So we are planning to pass a value in the cost distribution field as 100% ( as in std the field itself is blank, but still it denotes as 100%)
I hope the above screenshot makes it clear. Now instead of manally entering 100% to make the enhancement trigger, is there any possible solution where I pass the value as default 100% to make users life easier.
Note: we are not maintaining IT0017 for cost center, company code, Business area as we are reading this data through Master data.

Hi Parakala,
Maintain Cost centre at each Organization unit at infotype 1008.
at PR05 it will pick by default.

c. provide layout (rows and columns) as described above? it should provide detail cost elements and also calculate it as the total per account group, then finally the Grand Total for all of account groups.

Hi,
1. Put Year and Month as your General Selection parameters
2. In the label of the fields, if you put the parameter name with & before, it will display the value
3. If you put cost element in General selection, it will come with a group, and when you selecting the group, the report does the sub-totals automatically.

How to Override Cost Center in IT 1 based on certain conditions

I have a pretty good understanding on how Cost Center gets defaulted based on Org Structure. The standard SAP solution for Cost Center will not work for my client and I need to determine the cost center based on certain conditions. I understand that I have to write custom code in some user exit or badi. I tried user exit EXIT_SAPFP50M_001, but it did not work.
Here is my code:
DATA: I0001 LIKE P0001.
CASE INNNN-INFTY.
    WHEN '0001'.
      CALL METHOD CL_HR_PNNNN_TYPE_CAST=>PRELP_TO_PNNNN
        EXPORTING
          PRELP = INNNN
        IMPORTING
          PNNNN = I0001.
This is just an example to test the concept
I0001-kostl = 'COST_CENTER'.
     CALL METHOD cl_hr_pnnnn_type_cast=>pnnnn_to_prelp
        EXPORTING
          pnnnn = i0001
        IMPORTING
          prelp = innnn.
endcase.
When I change IT 1 record and hit enter, I can see that my code is being executed. I can see cost center being updated on the screen, but when I save it, its not able to retain that new cost center value. This might be because cost center is not an open field.
How can I change my code so it retains its value after saving?.

There are 3 ways :
1. Default the cost center in cost element - Ka02 - account assingment tab enter cost center .
2. Use OKB9 for diffrent combinations as per your requirement .
3. Use GGB1 for substituting the cost center based on some conditions .

you need to "Get Info" on the file first. Select it, right click and select 'Get Info' in the menu.
In the window that pops up, near the bottom, the "Open With" drop down menu needs changed. If the drop down menu does not present the one you want, select "Other" and find it.

KS02- Change Cost Center.
Go to the Control Tab.
Tick on the checkbox for desired transaction activity you want to lock this cost center.
Any postings made against the cost center will not be allowed.

Once the Cost Centre Hierarchy is Created, it can be used in Profit Centre Reports.
Choose Financials -> Cost Accounting -> Profit Center Report ->Template.
Here Choose, the Cost Centre Hierarchy the you had created and generate the report.

Can anybody please tell me that how to Enable Cost Center Field in Infotype 0001, actually the problem is while hiring the employee the field itself disable and not allowing me to put any CC on that field but which should be enable while hiring or if we intend to change in future through PA30 and after that i thought i can do in Infotype 0027 also but in infotype 27 the field called Master Cost Center field is still disabled which will reflect in 0001 or Vice Versa.
So friends pls tell me where my configuration is wrong or how will i get enable that field in 0001 infotype so that i calculated the cost of that employee.

Then set in sapscript with paragraph or character format so that yoyur charracter is printed with the font you wanted.

Cost center by default in a sales order

Hi,
I would like to put a cost center by default in a sales order.
Because the users forget often to fill this field, that' s why I would like to complete this field automatically.
I have found a point of customizing with OVZ3 but I have no result.
Any body have an idea?

Kindly use the Incompletnet procedure for making a filed mandatory. Without completion of this field the sales order can not be saved. Goto OVA2 and assign the value cost center at header level in incompletness process. Then go to VUA2 and assigne it to your sales order.
