How to make Delivery Item Relevant for Proof of Delivery

Hi,
How is it possible to make the Delivery Item relevant for Proof of Delivery (POD). What are the configuration settings required?
Regards,
Priyanka.

Hi Priyanka,
Following is the method to make Delivery Item Relevant for Proof of Delivery:
1.  SPRO --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Deliveries --> Proof of delivery
a.Set POD-Relevance Depending on Delivery Item Category
(In this activity, you can set the proof of delivery (POD) relevance depending on the delivery item category.)
Put (X) Relevant for POD, for the relevent Item Categories
b.Define Reasons for Quantity Differences
(Define how the quantity is to be calculated (add or subtract the difference quantity, depending on whether you are dealing with an overdelivery or an underdelivery for eg. due to damage during transport).
2. Set the Relevant for POD indicator on the Shipping tab page of the customer with whom you would like to carry out POD-processing.
Hope it helps.

  • VL463 -  No distribution: Delivery does not contain items relevant for dist

    Dear Experts,
When we slect multiple Deliveries from VL06 and distribute, Only few get distributed and others fail.
The error log shows: VL463 -  No distribution: Delivery does not contain items relevant for distribution.
However, If I select these deliveries individually or say 4 or 5 deliveries at a time and distribute, deliveries get distributed.
If I select more nunbers (ex: 12 or more), only 3 gets distributed and others fails with above message?
Any inputs on this are most welcome.
    Regards,
    Shetty

    Hi,
    Check in OVLK
Which distribution mode you maintained in delivery type it should be Distribution according to the settings for the warehouse number
Also check in Logistics Execution --> Decentralized WMS Integration --> Central Processing  --> Application --> Activate Decentralized WMS.

  • How to make valuation type field not changeable  in delivery tab of PO

    Hai friends,
I am new to badis..please guide me to solve the issue...
how to make valuation type field not changeable  in delivery tab of PO...
The field shd be in display mode only ...actually...there  a badi has been used before
to get valuation type from a ztable depending on material and plant...
Now ..my requirement is that the user shd not change the default value brought from the ztable...

    Hi SRINIVAS,
You can achieve this from BADI only if BADI is allows you to do this. You cannot achieve everything from a BADI. Check if there is any expoting field in the methods that can be ticked for making the field in display mode. If not then you cannot achieve this from BADI.
The field you want to default to display is a standard or zfield. If z, then you can changethe attribute of the screen field to Output only.

  • How to make new item show in ASCP Plan workbench.

Item ATT.BVL3AHY is a new item without any demand. At item master, it is set as Planned so it is collected by ASCP. The item can be found in msc.msc_system_items with Plan_id -1. Plan id -1 corresponds to Collection. Planner needs to manuallty add planned order for this item at ASCP workbench of plan WIRELINE (PLAN_ID 3002) as attached but as the item cannot be found in WIRELINE plan, planner cannot add it. Please let me know how to make this item show in WIRELINE Plan workbench.

    Run this query:
    select mrp_planning_code from msc_system_items where item_name like '<Item_Name>' and organization_id = <Org id> and plan_id = -1
If this returns 7 you dont need to run any collections.
If this returns other than 7 then,
create a simulation set under Item Attributes Mass Maintenance and then update the attribute MRP Planning method for this item to MRP/MPP Planning. Assign Simulation set to plan name and then rerun the plan. It should work.
If you are still facing an issue, then raise an SR with Oracle.

  • Item Relevent for Billing

    Dear Friends,
there is one Check box saying " relevent for Delivery" at the Defintion of Item and i have the same field alos at the Defintion of Schedule line...
does any1 know the Diffrence??? or both are same??
    please let me know !!!
    Best regards,
    Lata.

Item Relevant for Delivery: in T.Code: VOV7 for Item Level
    ·     Indicates whether a text or value item is relevant during delivery processing. That means it will allow the system to create schedule lines for text items.
    ·     Ex.: Manual for the product
    ·     The item itself is not delivered, but serves only for information purposes.
    ·     For example, you can refer to a text item as relevant for delivery so that the system copies it from a sales order into a delivery note.
Item Relevant for Delivery in T.Code: VOV6 for Schedule Lines
o     This indicator creates schedule line for a line item in sales order.
o     Except for text items, for all the other items like standard item etc. this box should be checked.
o     For text items it should be checked in VOV7 as text items will not have schedule lines.
o     In order for system to understand that this “item relevant for delivery” in VOV6 is applicable, the “schedule lines allowed” check box in VOV7 should be checked for all the items.
o     Except for text items for which there are no schedule lines so check box should not be checked.
o     Schedule lines allowed @ VOV7 should be activated, then Check in Item Relevant for Delivery @ VOV6 will generate delivery.
o     Indicates whether the item that is related to a schedule line is relevant for delivery.
o     If a sales order item is relevant for delivery, so are the schedule lines that belong to the item. Schedule lines that belong to an item in a quotation are not relevant for delivery.

  • How to make the item in different color in a choice?

I want to show green, red and blue color for item 100, 200 and 300.
I do not know how to do that, anyone can help?
    Thanks

Please don't double (and now your up to triple) post. I realize that to you, your problem is the most important thing in the world and it would be nice if you could get several people working on it at the same time. However, the people answering your question do not get paid for it. They are doing it because they want to help someone. Posting several times only shows that you have no respect for them and are only concerned with your problem.

  • Item relev for div

    hi,
    1) may i know what is the use of item relev for div (item relevant for delivery) in VOV7 (define item category). what is the implication if ticked or not ticked.
    2) we have 1 standard item but this standard item category does not select this field in VOV7.
and in the document flow for document base on this category, i can see there is delivery happens. why?
    thanks

See, once Item Relevance indicator is on, it just shows that the item will be copied to delv. doc. as text or value item, and it does not have any resemblance to physical delivery, until and unless you select the "Schedule line alowed" indicator on, which is for physical relevance of the delivery.

  • How to make saved IR available for all users

    Hi,
I've created IR and saved it to several tabs based on search conditions.
But they're only visible for developers.
How to make these tabs available for all end-users ?
Does version 4.0 support this option ?
    Thank you!

    Hi
At present this feature is not included, although I believe it may be in 4.0. Many people have provided workarounds for this. None of which I have tried. I cannot find the original thread but here is a solution from a chap called Ruud
    >
One way to share your saved reports with others is to 'Publish' your report settings to a few intermediate tables in your application and have other users 'Import' your settings from there. The reason for using intermediate tables is so that not all your saved reports need to be 'visible' to other users (only those that you've chosen to publish).
Basically you have available the following views and package calls that any APEX user can access:-
    - flows_030100.apex_application_pages (all application pages)
    - flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_rpt (all saved reports - inclusing defaults and all user saved reports)
    - flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_cond (the associated conditions/filters for above saved reports)
    - wwv_flow_api.create_worksheet_rpt (package procedure that creates a new saved report)
    - wwv_flow_api.create_worksheet_condition (package procedure that creates a condition/filter for above saved report)
The way I've done it is that I've created 2 tables in my application schema that are straightforward clones of the 2 above views.
    CREATE TABLE user_report_settings AS SELECT * FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_rpt;
    CREATE TABLE user_report_conditions AS SELECT * FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_cond;
( NB. I deleted any contents that may have come across to make sure we start with a clean slate. )
These two tables will act as my 'repository'.
To simplify matters I've also created 2 views that look at the same APEX views.
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW v_report_settings AS
    SELECT r.*
    p.page_name
    FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_rpt r,
    flows_030100.apex_application_pages p
    WHERE UPPER ( r.application_name ) = <Your App Name>
    AND r.application_user 'APXWS_DEFAULT'
    AND r.session_id IS NULL
    AND p.application_id = r.application_id
    AND p.page_id = r.page_id;
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW v_report_conditions AS
    SELECT r.*
    p.page_name
    FROM flows_030100.apex_application_page_ir_cond r,
    flows_030100.apex_application_pages p
    WHERE UPPER ( r.application_name ) = <Your App Name>
    AND r.application_user 'APXWS_DEFAULT'
    AND p.application_id = r.application_id
    AND p.page_id = r.page_id;
    I then built 2 screens:-
    1) Publish Report Settings
    This shows 2 report regions:-
    - Region 1 - Shows a list of all your saved reports from V_REPORT_SETTINGS (filtered to only show yours)
    SELECT apex_item.checkbox ( 1, report_id ) " ",
    page_name,
    report_name
    FROM v_report_settings
    WHERE application_user = :APP_USER
    AND ( page_id = :P27_REPORT OR :P27_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY page_name,
    report_name
Each row has a checkbox to select the required settings to publish.
The region has a button called PUBLISH (with associated process) that when pressed will copy the settings from
    V_REPORT_SETTINGS (and V_REPORT_CONDITIONS) into USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (and USER_REPORT_CONDITIONS).
    - Region 2 - Shows a list of already published reports in table USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (again filtered for your user)
    SELECT apex_item.checkbox ( 10, s.report_id ) " ",
    m.label,
    s.report_name
    FROM user_report_settings s,
    menu m
    WHERE m.page_no = s.page_id
    AND s.application_user = :APP_USER
    AND ( s.page_id = :P27_REPORT OR :P27_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY m.label,
    s.report_name
Each row has a checkbox to select a setting that you would like to delete from the repository.
The region has a button called DELETE (with associated process) that when pressed will remove the selected
    rows from USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (and USER_REPORT_CONDITIONS).
NB: P27_REPORT is a "Select List With Submit" to filter the required report page first.
Table MENU is my application menu table where I store my menu/pages info.
    2) Import Report Settings
This again shows 2 report regions:-
    - Region 1 - Shows a list of all published reports in table USER_REPORT_SETTINGS (filtered to show only other users saved reports)
    SELECT apex_item.checkbox ( 1, s.report_id ) " ",
    m.label,
    s.report_name,
    s.application_user
    FROM user_report_settings s,
    menu m
    WHERE m.page_no = s.page_id
    AND s.application_user :APP_USER
    AND ( s.page_id = :P28_REPORT OR :P28_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY m.label,
    s.report_name,
    s.application_user
Each row has a checkbox to select the setting(s) that you would like to import from the repository.
The region has one button called IMPORT that when pressed will import the selected settings.
It does this by using the 2 above mentioned package procedure to create a new saved report for you
with the information form the repository. Be careful to match the right column with the right procedure
parameter and to 'reverse' any DECODEs that the view has.
    - Region 2 - Shows a list of all your saved reports from V_REPORT_SETTINGS (filtered to only show yours)
    SELECT page_name,
    report_name
    FROM v_report_settings
    WHERE application_user = :APP_USER
    AND ( page_id = :P28_REPORT OR :P28_REPORT = 0 )
    ORDER BY page_name,
    report_name
This is only needed to give you some feedback as to whether the import succeeded.
    A few proviso's:-
    a) I'm sure there's a better way to do all this but this works for me :-)
    b) This does not work for Computations! I have not found an API call to create computations.
They will simply not come across into the repository.
    c) If you import the same settings twice I've made it so that the name is suffixed with (2), (3) etc.
I did not find a way to update existing report settings. You can only create new ones.
    d) Make sure you refer to your saved reports by name, not ID, when matching APEX stored reports and the
reports in your repository as the ID numbers may change if you re-import an application or if you
    auto-generate your screens/reports (as I do).
    Ruud
    >
To me this is a bit too much of a hack and I personally wouldn't implement it - it's just an example to show it can be done.
Also if you look here in the help in APEX Home > Adding Application Components > Creating Reports > Editing Interactive Reports
...and go to the last paragraph, you can embed predicates in the URL.
    Cheers

  • How to make warehouse field inactive for all users in all documents autom.

    Hi All,
Can anyone pls tell me "**how to make warehouse field inactive for all users in all documents without having to do it through form setting** "for each and every user. It should be visible but inactive
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mukesh Agrawal

    Hi,
As a work around create a warehouse SelectWH and map the mandatory acoounts as a On hold account(in chart of accounts). So there will not be any posting on this account.
And set this warehouse as default warehouse for all users.
So without selecting the appropriate warehouse the user can not add the document.
I think this might resolve you issue.

  • How to make jar files availabe for deployed EJBs

    Hi,
I'm interested on how to make jar files availabe for deployed EJBs.
My EJB is packed in an ear. It uses a util jar. I now just add the jar to the
classpath, but I think that shouldn't be the way. Is there somthing in the admin
console to make jars available or do I have to insert it in the ear file? And
if so, where do I hve to place it?
    Thanks
    Claudia

Put the util.jar in the ear with your ejb jars - at the same level (i.e. in
the root) - but do not include them in the manifest.xml.
Also each ejb jar that refers to util.jar must have util.jar on its internal
    classpath in the manifest.

    Hello performance experts.
I have question about how to understand the STAD relevant for RFC.
I want to know how to calculate the response time of action of "Push save buttion"

In our system, the screen is created using web dynpro and after push the button,

    Hi Keiichiro,
I wonder how I should calculate the response time of action"Save" button in following case.
Should I add the 2 response time?
    1) 5,867 ms +   5,797 m  is collect?

    3)  590 ms  +   5,797 ms is collect?
    4) Or other calculation is correct ?
It depends of what you mean with response time of action "Save" button.
If you mean ALL time, the value is 5.867 because the local time from save was 594ms, the "external" RFC time was 5280ms.
If you want separete analysis, the 594ms is your option since the 5280ms is in other part...
Also, analysing the other part there's another other part which represents a good part of processing time:
    Database request time      2,882 ms
    Hope this help youl.

  • Possible to make an item editable for certain users and read only for other

Is it possible to make an item editable for certain users and read only for others?
I've been able to accomplish this by taken the select statement that I used to define an authorization scheme, placing it in the Read Only condition of the item. However, I would like to simply reference the authorization scheme to utilize caching, and to help keep things cleaner for future maintenance.
Is it possible to reference an authorization scheme in an item condition similar to the way another item can be referenced by preceding it with a colon (i.e. :P1_First_Name)?

    Thank you, your suggestion worked.
It would be nice on a future release of APEX if a drop-down box existed under the Ready Only section that would allow an existing Authorization Scheme to be selected or negated when applying the Read Only attribute to a form item.
