How to make Dictation give me a new paragraph?

I've learned how to make Dictation do most of the things I want as far as formatting, quotation marks, and capitalization goes, but it definitely does not work for me when I say "new line" or "new paragraph". It treats new line by leaving one space between sentences, and treats new paragraph by leaving two spaces between. But they're always on the same line. Ideas appreciated. The default support page didn't help me.

In Compressor 3's Settings window:
Apple > Apple Devices > H.264 for Apple TV
this is one of the presets that is supplied as standard and it is pre-configured for H.264 1280x720 output
if you're building your preset from scratch then you can set the output frame size in the Dimensions area of the Geometry pane

Creating the recovery partition
Right-click the start orb, and start 'Disk Management'.
Shrink the C: drive by let's say 20-30GB.
Then create a new Partition and assign the R: label to it and name it RECOVERY.
Then open command prompt as administrator and type: 'recimg /createimage <directory>',
In this case: 'recimg /createimage R:\' to save it on the new partition.
This step may consume a lot of time.
Now we need to register the newly created recovery image: 'recimg /setcurrent <directory>'
'recimg /setcurrent R:\'
Voila you are done.
Restoring from recovery partition
You may want to use this restoring method by default, because it is the easiest way to do so if your recovery partition is still intact. If not, look at the other recovery methods to see which suits you best. This is usually the way you reset or refresh your Windows installation if you purchase a computer from a brand like Lenovo instead of building one yourself
Press the Windows-key + C to open the charms bar or swipe in from the right.
Click Settings.
Click Change PC Settings.
Click Update & Recovery in the menu on the left.
Click Recovery.
If all your documents are safe and sound in your user folder, you can use Refresh your PC without affecting files. However I still recommend taking a back-up... Your best bet would be to just go on eBay and find someone who sells the LCD casing by itself. I got one for $50+ from LaptopAid (user ID / seller).
Or, you can buy one BRAND NEW from WeLoveMacs.com for $99.99 (or it might have been $79.99). An Apple OEM part.
There's no other way to make your lid/casing brand new. And it's "easy" to pop off and put the new one in. You don't have to take off the display unit just to do it, as I learned.
Also, the top casing where the keyboard is is also replaceable. Also got mine on eBay. The model A1106 and after are easy to take off. Before that, is harder, since there was a "latch" on the top of the optical drive area that had to be undone before you could replace the top case or even remove it. Putting it back together was a pain, and most people who've done so have shown evidence of doing so, since the top case and bottom pan don't line up anymore.
Although, do you have an Aluminum or a Titanium?? You said "there are some scratches and spots where the paint has rubbed off and I want to paint over it."
Our aluminums don't have paint on it. It's strictly aluminum. So there's no paint to paint over.

I've added a new mount option to an existing map auto_*. I've tried:
svcadm -v restart svc:/system/filesystem/autofs:default
svcadm -v refresh svc:/system/filesystem/autofs:default
but when checking via "mount," it still shows it's mounted before the service restart/refresh and the newly added option is not shown in the output. /etc/mnttab does not show either.
Also this is within a non-global Solaris zone if it makes a difference.
How do I make sure automount picks up the new mount options right away?

Yes. I restarted/refresh autofs after making a change to auto_* file (adding "llock" option to an existing mount).
I just ran "automount -v" and its output shows that mount point is remounted. However, "mount" output shows
mount_point on NFS_share list_of_options_here on Tue Feb 12 08:47:32 2013 <== which is still 9 hours ago
From where I cannot find the "llock" mount option I added in auto_* file in the "list_of_options_here" above.

My alarm works fine on my 4 gb Zen using the latest firmware release. The firmware works the same on all 2/4/8/6/32 GB Zens.

I just purchased a new iMac equipped with a bare bones 1TB SATA hard drive. I want to replace that disk with a 1TB SSD from Crucial (less than 1/2 of the cost of purchasing the iMac with the SSD). You can take it an AASP to have the install done however you probably would be better off returning the machine (assuming it was bought directly from Apple and is less than 14 days old) and buy the configuration you want. Even if an AASP does install the SSD there is no guarantee Apple will honor the warranty, it's 100% at their discretion.

database using the fillby query.
It works, but it repopulates the same row each time, but i want to be able to display multiple records at the same time, a new row should be filled for
each click of the fillby button.
also I want to be able to delete any records if the customer suddenly decides to not buy an item after it has already been entered.
so actually 2 questions here:
1. how to populate a new row for each click of the fillby button
2. how to delete records from data grid view after an item has been entered

Hello,
The FillBy method loads data according to what the results are from the SELECT statement, so if there is one row then you get one row in the DataGridView, have two rows then two rows show up.
Some examples
Form load populates our dataset with all data as it was defined with a plain SELECT statement. Button1 loads via a query I created after the fact to filter on a column, the next button adds a new row to the existing data. When adding a new row it is appended
to the current data displayed and the primary key is a negative value but the new key is shown after pressing the save button on the BindingNavigator or there are other ways to get the new key by manually adding the row to the backend table bypassing the Adapter.
The following article with code shows this but does not address adapters.
Conceptually speaking the code in the second code block shows how to get the new key

How to make default settings for a new Finder window ?

Will, i am abit ashamed to ask this question cause it's problaby very basic OSX knowledge.
However, since using 10.0 , i never have find a solution ..
What i want is this:
EVERY new Finder window i open, be it with the keycommand (CMD)+N, or double clicking a Folder a disk icon, has to be shown to me in only 1 way
which i have setup beforehand.
I am talking bout: List view only, with specified columns ("date added" for example etc) in a vast specific order.
For these settings, i open one finder window, setup the "view options" for that window, re-arrange the columns, then do: save as default"
Now, i would say that next time i open a new finder window, (keycommand (CMD)+N, or double clicking a Folder a disk icon), it defaults to the settings i made above.
But nada.
OSX has always intuitive for me but this issue scratches my brains.
Can someone please help ??

You can still capture a screen in OS X. It saves your captures as .png image files to your Desktop.
Command-Shift-3 will capture all your see. Command-Shift-4 will turn your mouse into cross-hairs that you drag across any area. And a click on the spacebar (after the above keyboard commands) will turn your cursor into a camera icon that can capture individual windows. Still free.
Snapz Pro allows you to capture (as QuickTime video) anything in its window. It continues to capture until you close it.
