How to make EZ Drummer go Multi in L8?

I'm very new to Logic, in fact I'm just migrating from Pro Tools. I have a (seems to be) very easy question: How do I get EZDrummer to work in Multi tracks with Logic 8?

i want to use the ez drummers multi outputs they way you describe it - it works for other plug-ins (f.ex. addictive drums), not for my ezd.
After creating the multi output ezd, i click on the "plus" sign, one aux channel appears, but without an input connection. Repeated clicks on the "plus" make nothing - no more aux channels, only highlighting the aux 1.
logic 8.0.1, ezd 1.1.3
Have you got an idea of what´s going wrong ?

I don't know exactly how they did it, but I have seen it done in Forms 6i. It is not exactly Excel style, but it comes close. You can use when-mouse-down and when-mouse-up triggers to determine start and end position of the mouse (with system.mouse_x_pos) and then set the width property.
So, when you drag the mouse, you don't see the column size increase, you only see the result after you let go of the mouse button.

I would like to know how to make fields for name and address in a PDF form.
I am now using Acrobat 8 Pro on Windows Vista. I have downloaded a form in the format of a PDF file. Basically it is just a file holding images of pages of the document, and there are no fields for me to type something on it using computer. This form will be used frequently by me, but I don't want to print it out and fill it in every time by hand. I want to fill it in in the computer and print copies of it when needed. The output will then be much more neat and tidy.
I have seen PDF forms with blanks for typing name and address, which means the form can be filled in on the computer before printing. They are special, as these blanks allow users to type name and address with every character occupying a box in the field, which consists of ten boxes or so. These are not ordinary textfields. I want to make similar inputting field as well.
Does anyone knows something about making these input fields with each character using 1 little box in the multi-box field? Any ideas are appreciated.

Flash 5"? EX: If I were to make a space game, where after reaching
a score of 2000 points, the game pauses and displays the text
"Stage 2", then continues or provides a button to make the game
continue starting on stage 2. Any help with this question is

First off.. Flash 5 is like.. Ancient. Dude. Seriously, thats
more than
3 versions ago, and there have been major major changes
since.
However, I'll give it a try..
First off, there has to be some kind of an event that kicks
it off. I
would build something into the score system that would
trigger this.
For example.
function updateScore():Void {
_root.stage.scoreboard.text = myNewScore;
if (myNewScore > 2000) {
jumpToNextLevel();
So, somewhere in your game a variable keeps the score.. if
your game
runs the updateScore function once in a while, if it hits
more than
2000, it triggers a new function called jumpToNextLevel.
In the jumpToNextLevel, you would have to do more functions
like
pauseTheGame(), and such..
In general.. break it down to small pieces of what you want
to do. Each
function would do a series of things.. Then when your going
though your
game, you call each function as needed.

I'd suggest using Flash Media Interactive Server if you wish to make this type of application and use Flash as the interface. I can't give you the details on exactly how to implement it, but using Remote Shared Object and FMIS would serve as the basis. I believe that the package comes with examples of Shared Objects that can serve as a simple basis from which to proceed. After that you might want to see if you can find an available whiteboard app that can be leveraged to do as you wish.
I apologize in advance if using this type of solution is a non-starter, I've been using FMIS locally and have plans to eventually implement something similar to this type of drawing app as well.

You need to create a validation item that is triggered when the user clicks the submit button.
Set the validation type to "Function Returning Error Text".
Then add your validation into the "Validation Expression 1" field. Something like:

As long as the function returns a string, an error is generated - as there is no single field where this error can be displayed, it will need to be displayed "On Error Page".
If the return value is NULL, then the fields are valid and the submit process can continue.

How to let the counter count the time, that doesn't start at the same time ?
This timing system is a sport timing system for canoe competition, it need to track 6 competitor that start at different time .
I have a problem , I have 6 counter in a VI that use to track 6 competitor, but it start count at the same time, how to make it count separately for each competitor ?
Do you guys know how to solve this problem ?

ya, i run it. I mean i know how to make it to 6 competitor already , and yes, it works but the time, it still count or start at the same time. I need to run each competitor at different time , like this competitor A 20-2-2012.VI . This is the one i do but it cant put a stop button. once i put a stop button, the clock stop counting but the whole VI is running.

Yes, please use template WS200000075, and after the initial task TS2000016,
The outcomes are either Po Release, PO Rejected or PO chnaged significantly,
Use the task TS20000167, it is defaulted so there is no way you cannot see it, it would say "Release of PO Cancelled", you could use this for further action

Just to help integrate Shaik's and my own seemingly contradictory replies:
If the member variables in your global component actually need to be globally available, so that multiple threads/sessions need to seem the same data, then you need to use synchronization or some scheme to make this data thread-safe when updating it. If the member variables are non-global data and are simply for convenience of having data available for multiple method calls or something like that, then you should do as I said (don't use synchronization) and use one of my suggestions to avoid this.
I have seen customers frequently do what I replied about and store non-global data in a global component, and Shaik simply interpreted what "user13344577" is trying to do differently. Clarification is needed to know which of our answers better applies.

How to make my java bean internationalization?

I have a project on tomcat. I have rewrite my jsp to multi-language according to user's browse language setting. User's language is English, the jsp shows them English. User's language is Chinese, the jsp shows them Chinese, and so on. But in my java bean code, some exception are thrown out with some message or alert. Can anybody tell me how to make these java beans show the language string acording to user's browse language setting?

Thank you. That is a great document to me. The fact is that my owner code throws exception with a string. The code is:
if(amount<0) throw new Exception("Please input correct amount.");
If the code is in jsp, I can convert it to a internationalized String using struts tag <bean:message...>. But it is in a deep function of java class. So must I add a Locale object parameter to the function and all calling functions?

The slider + checkbox behavior was a problem with the first version of the exporter API in CS4, but in CS5 it has been fixed. The problem was in how the exporter host layer interpreted the parameters specified via the Export Param Suite. So when making presets for your exporter, it would make sense to use CS5, since CS4 has the problematic behavior. I haven't tried this, but bringing those presets from CS5 back to CS4 may solve the problem in CS4.
So far we haven't had any need or request for two editable fields side-by-side.

I want to make the whole record(multi record block) as non updatable. My condition is, I have one status field in the base table block, when I query the form if the "status" field containing value 'Y', the user should not be able to update any item in the record. How to acheive the functionality?

Have you tried using the set_item_instance_property('',update_alowed,..) built_in in the when_new_record_instance trigger on the block level?
You can check there the :block.status field,and set the item instances in that record to non updatable.
