How to make Finder to focus on the last used foto in the iPhoto folder?

Hello! I have a 1200-fotos iPhoto folder containing fotos of my last voyage. Im trying to upload some of them them to the account of one of the social networks.
I scroll through them in iPhoto to chose the best then in Safari press "Upload from file" button on the website.
But every time I press "Upload from file" button and finder window openeswith the focus on the very first foto in folder! And every time I have to scrooll through all the fotos searhing for the needed foto or have to press Command+f and search by name.
In windows by default I have a focus on the file being used the last.
Any ideas how to manage files in this case not having to scroll all the previous files from hte very start?

What kind of folder? A folder with albums in iPhoto, or a folder in the Finder? If the Finder, how are you scrolling in iPhoto to browse a folder in the Finder? Are you using iPhoto in a referenced mode and accessing the originals using the Finder?
If yes, there is no connection between your browsing position in iPhoto and the browsing of original files in the Finder.
If you want to upload a photo you have just seen in iPhoto, the simplest way would be to drag it from the iPhoto window to a folder on your desktop (that will export a jpeg version of the photo) and then to upload it from there. That would save you a lot of scrolling.

Suddenly, when I click on the Finder from the Dock, it does not go to the last open window. I have to go to the Windows menu and select it, or click and wait on the Finder icon in the dock for it to open. I usually have a lot of apps open so when I go to Finder it's to do some file management - and the extra step of having to bring the last open window to the forefront is annoying me!
Does anyone know how to make the Finder automatically come to the forefront (with the windows) from click in the Dock? I swear my mac always did that before but now it's stopped!

If it's updates through the Office auto-updater that are having problems, that's probably an issue you'll need to take up on Microsoft's support site. If you're having problems installing Office from scratch and it's saying it can't find Installer, you may need to repair your hard drive. It's not likely to re-connect to a network lying on the ground somewhere and getting rained on, it would be really great if I could see that map again so I could use it's last known location to find it. Kind of pointless to have a 24 hr killswitch deadline. If I had known I would have taken a screen-shot while I still had access to the information. Since I lost the phone at Canada's Wonderland (which is now closed for the season) I don't have access to the location where I lost the phone (under a roller-coaster probably), and so I wanted to send the Lost And Found people a screen-shot of it's last known location, but I guess I can't do that now. That is is always a problem when you are using multiple profiles and Firefox isn't running.
It might work if no profile is selected (i.e. marked as Default=1 in profiles.ini).<br />
You can use desktop shortcut that open with a specific profile (-P "profile").<br />
There is also a setting in the Profile Manager (Don't ask at startup).

In HTMLDB 2.0 it is not possible to start a page with authentication without a SESSION_ID and when you start a public page without a SESSION_ID, then every time a new SESSION_ID is generated when you don't use the SESSION_ID in the URL.
In the same browser session I want to make a URL call to a HTMLDB page without a SESSION_ID and this page has to give back the last used SESSION_ID.
How can I do that?

Fred - You could record that session ID in a table. Each time your authenticated application runs, it would update that table with the "latest" session ID, perhaps using an application process. Then when you are formulating the URL to the public page from another application, you'd get the session ID from that table. Or you could use the page sentry component of your app's authentication scheme to send a cookie to the browser on every page view. The cookie would contain the session ID and the other application could access the cookie to complete the URL.

How do I find out what features are not useful in my Classifier? I am trying to trim down the number of features to speed up the training of my data, I have about 3700 features. I have found the Filter Based Feature Selection Module and have not been successful
in using it. I have looked through all the examples and have not been able to find any examples using the module. Will the Filter Based Feature Selection Module help me to trim features. If so how do I use it?

One way to do this would be is to use a random forest classifier. Feature/variable importance can be obtained relatively easily with random forests.
