How to make Firefox 4 locale follow the one set in Windows

I want to use Firefox 4 in a multi tennant environment. On each workstation users of different origine can log on. Ideally of course I'd like to have everybody use the system using his own language. I already found out how to make Firefox available in multiple languages, but at the moment that can only be set manually. I am looking for a way to make FF's locale follow Windows' locale. Anybody that can give me some pointers?
In case FF can't do this by automated I was hoping to find out where about:config stores it's settings (file / registry).

I do not know exactly what you are doing or what problems you envisage, but possibly it will entail you looking at your server security, and what information that presents on the internet and on your LAN. You should also consider what permissions and software users have, otherwise they could merely use an alternative browser or reconfigure or reinstall firefox.

How do I make Firefox not open the homepage in new windows?

Hi. I have a collection of 4 pages set to open every time I start Firefox. Whenever I need to open a new window, my 4 pages open again.
I would like to have those 4 pages open only the first time I start the browser, because I never close them. Obviously I don't need them open again.
How can I set it so that these 4 pages open the first time I start my browser, but only have a blank page open the next time I select "open new window."
Even more ideal would be to have the choice to open my homepages or a blank page (in case for some reason they do get closed).
Any solution that takes more than one extra step is one extra step too many. Otherwise, I'd simply just x out of three of my pages and change the URL of the 4th.
I'm not entirely technically minded, so if yours is a technical solution, I thank you in advance for clearly laying out the steps one-by one.

One possibility would be to change how you open a new window. You can create a bookmark for Firefox's '''about:blank''' page and then, to open it in a new window, shift+click the bookmark.
(To create it, right-click the Bookmarks Toolbar or Bookmarks Menu near where you want to add it and choose New Bookmark. Enter about:blank in the Location and any description you like in the Name, then click Add Bookmark.)
But that might be difficult to remember or inconvenient, so the next thought would be to bookmark your 4 home pages as a group in a single folder on your Bookmarks Toolbar or Bookmarks Menu, as you prefer. If you ''middle-click'' that folder with the mouse scroll wheel, Firefox will open all of its pages in separate tabs in the same window. Does that still count as 1 step?
(To create it, open a new window with your four tabs. Right-click any of the tabs and choose Bookmark All Tabs. This will create the new folder. Assuming it tests out, you can then change your Firefox home page to about:blank to display a blank page.)

Then, place everything inside this wrapper div.

The akamai servers are used by a lot of web servers to store large files (e.g. images and media files)
A domain with fbstatic in it is likely a domain that is used by Facebook (fb), so you may have other problems if you stay on such a web page or get redirected
If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. You need to place a shortcut to open Firefox in the Start > Programs > Startup folder. 
That is basically the same in all Windows versions.

You can right-click the image and use "Save Image As" to save that image.

If your computer is on one minute before it freezes, than you have one minute to secure your serial number.
click the apple----->click about this Mac ------> click on version----> until you see the serial number. You may have to do this a couple of times if it freezes before you have all the numbers. A camera might help.

Hello. I can easy remove on Windows FF 29 or FF 30 and its slower on fast computer. But its affected by millions of users. With FF 28 it was allways fast.
Why fast? I dont know but its SLOW Now any version after FF 28.
Since FF 29 FF loads and hangs very very slow each time loading, starting, or changing tabs. It is making problem for everyone and now everyone calls with help- "why computer is slow.. oh its FF? Chrome? Chrome was slow but now its not the slowest one?"
Very colorfull Example- one comp is 10" and its very very very very low specs. So it wont run at all.
Now on small comp we can try linux and FF BUT no matter what OS just couldnt get back with any plugins back normal speed. Since FF 29 its very very very slow and that needs to have a solution. Today came update and still unneded custom menu button and its slowness hasnt been removed (unnoticed) so it needs a fix so it works for people who are not just for browsing internet buying new computer and cant get any faster speed then Chrome since now theres no FF anymore.
SO- How to do that on Windows and Linux- installing FF 28 and making it never upgrade
OR even better- Making a package that already has this update disbled setting ON?
p.s. Should you first ask people how they like slow browsers before making fast one to a slow one?
p.p.s. i dont get how menu could be added by thouse who need it as an add-on ass allways and not presuring everyone who never touches any button.

I can see one way to do it. You'll need to install a script in each user account, and have it set as a login item for each user. Let's imagine you have three user accounts. Each user in Mac OS X has a UID number. Normally your first user has the UID of 501, the second one will be 502 and so on...
You can determine the UID by running the following AppleScript while logged in on each user:
do shell script ("ID")
This'll return a long block of text, but right at the start you'll see the UID number. Let's assume your three users have the UIDs 501, 502 and 503. We begin with 501.
Create the following script and save it as an application while logged in as 501. Note that the password you're entering is the password for UID 502. Also note that the forum system is creating line breaks where there shouldn't be any. The long "do shell script" line should be one line.

Open System Preferences, go to Accounts, click "login items" and drag your script (saved as an application) to the login items window.
You basically repeat this process for each user account, modifying the script so it switches to the next user.
This isn't ideal, because your passwords will be stored in the scripts, and each user could open the scripts and learn the passwords of the other users on that machine.

I'm not sure if this is a setting or something cause by firefox updating.
when I start filling the address bar with the name of a site or URL it gives me suggestions from my history or something. When I click one of the suggestions the URL just sits in my address bar. In order to actually go to the web page I have to press enter. This is annoying. It used to go to the web page as soon as I clicked the suggested page. How do I make it do that again?
[edit] It will go to to some web pages as soon as I click the suggestion but most of the time the URL will just sit in my address bar waiting for further instruction.

To set the Text alignment properties use "Paragraph" pallet you can make it visible by selecting Window>>Paragraph or Shift+F5
And to allow text wrapping you need to select "Allow Multiple Lines" checkbox under "Object" pallet and "Field" tab. You can make Object pallet visible by selecting Window>>Object or Shift+F7.
