How to make form fields "Clickable"

Hey Guys,
I created a Fillable PDF Form with Form fields using ADOBE Acrobat 9.0 Pro-Ex + LiveCycle Designer for Windows XP.
My question is when you create a form, is there a way to make form fields "clickable" instead of just auto-tab? Because if you mess up when filling out the form, you don't want to have to tab through the whole document just to get back to that spot. How can i fix that?
My other question is, when printing the form, the form field "text boxes" always show up. Is there a way to hide the boxes and just print the form without them. (The information that was filled in will still show, just the outline of the boxes won't?)

Unfortunately I don't know enough about Designer to tell you what you did to make the boxes unclickable, but for me I've never had an issue doing that.
However, I can tell you what you need to do to get rid of the boxes around each of your text fields.
1. In design mode, select the field(s) you wish to get rid of the borders on. (If all you have are text fields, you can press Ctrl+A to select all fields. If not, you can hold down the Ctrl button while left-clicking each field to change all text fields at once.)
2. Open the Object window (Shift+F7 toggles this on and off). Find the option for Appearance.
3. Click the drop down menu next to Appearance and choose none.
4. The borders will now be gone from the text fields.

Here you can add the fomatting action on the field to disable the field if those users belong to certain Sharepoint group (does not matter the permission levels though). Hope it helps.

How to make form field that will highlight text

I have a calendar with several lines of text in each days box (yoga classes with class name and time). I need to create an interactive pdf which I can send to my teachers so they can highlight their availability to teach. I would like for them to be able to click on class times and have those times become highlighted. They could then save this form and send back to me. Please help... seems like it should be fairly easy but I've messed around for two days trying to make it happen with no luck!!

The problem is that form fields don't have an opacity setting, so they're
not very suitable for highlighting text.
Your options are to use a form field (like a button) with a transparent
fill color and a colored border, and then have the border become
transparent when clicked, or back to the color when clicked again, or you
could use a combination of an annotation and a button field. The button
will show/hide the annotation when clicked. The latter will look nicer but
is more complicated to implement.

Hi im creating a form template that will be sent to over 150 stores so I need this to work and be easier for my stores.
Is is possible to make the field names visable for the user so they know what details are need in the fields?

Do you mean the highlight color? You can disable it via the Preferences window (under Forms).

when this form is sent through worflow the receiver shudnt be able make changes to the field value...(I have a form, which has fields prefilled(like pernr employee name) but these fields are in editable able..(i want only some fields to be uneditable not all)

No, LiveCycle Designer is not included in Creative Cloud and is available only for Windows. It was included with the Windows version of Acrobat Pro before Acrobat 11 but is now a separate program and about $300.

How to make a field Mandatory in a Table view?
The requirement is, the user should not be able to append a new Row, unless and untill he enteres the data in the column SOLD-TO. Now how do i acheive making this field madatory. Normally in Edit form view, we can go in customizing and flag Mandatory, for table view we don't have this option.
Please can anyone of you guide me in this approach?

Hi,
As a work around create a warehouse SelectWH and map the mandatory acoounts as a On hold account(in chart of accounts).So there will not be any posting on this account.
And set this warehouse as default warehouse for all users.
So without selecting the appropriate warehouse the user can not add the document.
I think this might resolve you issue.

We normally create a billing document with reference any other document say Order or delivery.
so, all the necessary information in the invoice will be taken from preceeding doucments. Thats way in the order level we check for incompletion log. If any important data is missing in the order level then the succeding documents will not be created.
Thats way in the billing documents all the necessary information will come automatically either from preceeding documents or from master data.
Still you want to make any field mandatory, you can do these by modifieing Billing documents user exists,you can make which ever the fields are mandatory and to be checked before saving. so when you are going to save the invoice, it will check if these fields are maintained or not.

Hi,
There are 2 ways to make profit center mandatory
1.Transaction Variant
2.Incompletion procedure
1.Transaction Variant
Step 1:Goto Tcode shd0 and input transaction as va01 and give name of transaction variant as ( example. zva01 ) and click on create or F5
Step 2.Then it takes you to sales order screen.Just click on enter untill you see profit center field.
Step 3.check the box required against profit center.
Step 4.click on save ( under a package name or as local object ) and exit
Step 5.Assign transaction variant to your sales order type through tcode v0v8.
2.Incompletion Procedure
You can add the field table-vbap,field- prctr,status-04,check-warning to your existing incompletion procedure Tcode- ova2 assigned to your order type in tcode vov8 and check the box - incomplete messeges for your order type through tcode vov8.
If incompletion procedure is not assigned to your order type than you have to create a new incompletion procedure and assign it to order type.

Financial Accounting-> A/P&A/R-> CustomerAccounts->MasterData->Preparatons for CreatingCustomerMasterData
use the transactions & u can update for creation of customer master or hange of customer master.
