How to make horizontal bullet list

How can I make a horizontal bullet list in iWork '09. I know I can make vertical bullets but I can't find a way to make horizontal.
for example:

Insert a bullet character between your text.
Try the Edit > Special Characters menu in Pages. This will display the Characters window.
Click Bullets/Stars to see a range of bullet images you can paste in between your text.

How to display a bulletted list

Hi All,
I'd like to display a list of agreements to the user as a bulleted list. It's all the things that the user is agreeing to when they submit the application.
What would be ideal is if there is a controller that I can bind to an array, and it will display each item in the array as a single bulleted list item. The list of agreements will vary depending on how the user as filled out the application, and if I do it this way I could simply pass in a collection with all the items they are agreeing to.
But I haven't been able to even figure out how to display a bulleted list. I've found some posts online that address how you might do this if you're working on an editor, but I don't need editable text--I just want to display a bulleted list to users. It seems like this is a basic feature that must be in Flex 4 somewhere, and I don't want to go reinventing the wheel.

Ok, here's what I came up with for a bulleted list that you can bind an ArrayCollection of String items to. Thoughts? Any issues with this implementation?
I looked into a custom ItemRenderer, but this seemed much simpler and it's all I need in my case--a bulleted list.
I'm aware that no escaping of the input strings is being done, but that's actually intentionally--I may wish to pass in strings that include additional markup to make certain words/phrases bold.
The reason for the getter and setter on the dataProvider property is to ensure that anytime a new assignment is made to that property the change listeners are setup.
I'm interested in feedback on how I could do this better or differently, to best take advantage of the facilities Flex offers.

How to make a SELECT LIST READONLY

Hi,
I have a form to update the existing values in a table. Primary column is based on a Select List.
So when user goto update screen they SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE the primary filed(means the value display in the Select List).
SO to make this one I have make that select list read only. But not like other items even when we make select list read only it still allow user to change the value. So basically read only property not working for select text.
There are many post in this regading same issue. Some of them recomended to make it disabled. But when we make a item disabled then when user POST that form, Apex not POST any disabled item values. Basically disabled items values not passing next form. So making item dissable also not a solution.
I have read almost 20 post in here regarrding this and didnt get any solution for this. So please let me know if anyone knows how to make a select list read only (which is working same as read only text boxes, means that value pass when user POST the form).

How to make hidden Drop Lists functional in RBList Subforms?

I have created a form that contains 3 isolated Radio Button lists, each with hidden subforms that are unique per each button.
Two of my RBLists and subforms work perfectly, showing hidden Drop Down List options and other fields as they should when a button is selected.
However, RBList3 presents the Drop Down lists as user entry fields only. Each hidden subform in RBList3 contains one drop down menu and one text box for instructions.
I've used the same javascript to hide/show hidden fields when buttons are selected. All settings seem to match up. Here is a sample of my code:

else if(RBList3.F.rawValue == 2)

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make my Drop Down Lists in RBList3 show as functional Drop lists?

I have a hard drive that I'm going to use as a safety backup. I've filled it with files and folders and am going to store it off site. I'd like to retain a list of what I've got on there, for reference.
I can make a complete list of what's on there, with UNIX 'ls -R', but it's huge and you can't encapsulate the folders, it just lists everything. I need a document that reproduces the list of files and folders in the same way that the finder does. Is there any program that does that?

I've seen third-party backup utilities that provide that sort of catalogue interface, but I can't name any off hand.
Yep, I even used to have one, way back in OS 7 thru 8.6 on my 8600. I think it was something from Iomega, they used to give you several free tools, and I believe a catalogue maker was one of them. I think it broke with some version of OS 9, and I got a shareware program called DiskTracker. Both did exactly what is wanted: they would catalog any sort of disk, be it drive, removable media (I had a bunch of Syquest EZDrive cartrides), even CDs. You would open the file in the program, and navigate just like in the Finder. Don't remember just how much information was preserved about files.
Try going to VersionTracker, and do a search on disk inventory or catalog software, I'm sure there are still such things around, though I doubt they would be free.

I want to get all my keywords embedded. I think a workaround is to make a smart list that has all my photos which contain any key word. Export all these photos. Then import them back in using auto arrange by event.
How do I make a smart list that contains all photos with any keyword (I dont see that as a choice) and will this workaround work?

How to make a linked list?

I've seen how to implement a linked list in oracle ? but it's not what I'm interested in.
First of all, it is just a curiosity, no serious task behind it. I think I've almost made a linked list (of chars) type, however it misses the notion of empty list and thus I virtually cannot construct it.

How can I get bulleted lists to look right in IE?

No matter what I try, I can't get bulleted lists to display in Internet Explorer. On the Mac, only Safari displays them the way they look in iWeb. Firefox has problems.
in IE:
- text indents don't work after the first line
- only round text bullets work (others like checks display as boxes)
- iWeb image bullets work sometimes
Any ideas. Getting tired of ugly indent and uneven lines, and of hand breaking each bullet

Well, I'm afraid that you have encountered one of iWeb's shortcomings here. Here is a page detailing this bullet problem...
