How to make icon visible?

HI !
I´ve been making some icons with photoshop and icon composer, everything is fine except that I don´t know how to make the ready icon visible without third part application.
At the moment icon composer leaves the icns file icon to applications own document icon.
So:
How to change icns files so that the icon that they contain is the icon that they display?

I am at work (Windows) so I can't try this now, but, I've copied icon images between items by copy and paste. I wonder if you can, open the file, select and copy the icon image. Close the file, open the "Get Info" dialog, click the icon to select it (in the "Get Info" window) and paste.
Otherwise there is a program (freeware I think) called "Pic to Icon" that makes the files icon the same as the picture it contains. I don't know if it works for .icns file though. But, if it doesn't the work around should be pretty easy.

Changing the DPI to 120 won't affect the font size of the menu bar in the Editor. See this FAQ for what happens when you change the DPI:

Hi,
Normally we use feedback as an explanation by an approver to the previous approver about his action on the doc( reject/approve).
I think you want ur users to view the doc and then give suggestions to make it better and these comments should be approved and then made visible.

External monitor: how to make toolbar visible on both

I have an external monitor attached to my MacBook Pro and it is currently set up as the secondary monitor. Somehow I managed to get the resolution I wanted on both screens, i.e., greater on external without mirroring. But how do I view the toolbar/dock on both. My husband has done it on his, but doesn't know how he did. On the other hand, he must sleep his laptop to get the appropriate resolution on external.
How to make both things happen?

How to make pics visible that was received through mobil/PC/Bluetooth?

Does anyone know how to make pics visble, that has been recieved through emails/mobil/PC/Bluetooth to Mac or vs?
I am able to see some pics, but some again I am not able to see in anyway, and these are standard pics taken from typically commercially available cameras, and some pics are too small to be useful. But than other they are that well to be used in many ways!
Anyone faced similar issues?

I have read your post on how you are looking to make your computer send all the audio through an optical audio cable instead of the headphone jack, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To configure your desktop to enable the optical audio cable, I recommend following the steps below:
Step 1. Click the Windows Key Button on your desktop
Step 2. Type "Control Panel"
Step 3. Select "Control Panel" in the top right-hand corner
Step 4. Select Sound
Step 5. Under the Playback tab, right-click the white area below the devices available
Step 6. Select "Show Disabled" and "Show Disconnected Devices"
Step 7. Connect your Optical Audio Cable
Step 8. Select your Optical Audio Cable as the default device and click "Enable"
Since it is not possible to convert the HDMI out to audio out on your notebook computer, it is unfortunate that the notebook is not able to connect with an optical audio cord.

How To Make Infocube Visible in Query Designer?

hello,
i'm using BIW 3.10, i've just created infocube and succesfully populated it with data. I went through all the process from datasource (from R/3 masterdata), infosource, infoobjects and so on, until i get to browse the content of the infocube using the "Manage Data Targets" screen of rsa1->modeling->InfoProvider->Manage. Now my problem is how do i make the infocube visible in the Query Designer?

hi sid,
you have open bex analyzer, and click 'query', in next screen 'sap bex : select query', click 'new' (icon blank page), and click 'infoarea' in left side, you will see the infocube under your infoarea. hope this helps.
for new infocube, when there is no query created from this infocube, the infocube will invisible, since the screen is to select existing queries.

I don't think that's available out of the box. You can set the default pricelist to a pricelist that has $0 for everything and set a catalog to be "View Only" so those items cannot be added to the cart. Then you create a new theme for B2B customers with a new catalog that allows adding to cart and this will show their dealer pricing.
You can probably write a custom control to hide the price for non logged in users fairly easily though.

Library is invisible - how to make it visible

I would like to make all folders visible in Mac OS Lion.
It seems that Library is not visible, not from the home folder
I want to restore the Firefox Profile Folder from Time Machine, and this Profile Folder is in the invisible Library.

While you are a much better writer than I am, they need to get to Show View Options not Get Info, you access the view options for a folder from inside it because you are editing the way finder displays the files. See how I have a custom background color and text size (the defalult might actualy be 14 I don't remimber).

I have some Controls on the Front Panel whose visibility is changed (turned on or off) at Run Time. The problem is that if I stop the Run time, the Visibility of the Control remains in the runtime state in Design mode. So I may not be able to see or find the Control to make changes in Deisgn mode.
How can I make all Controls on the Front Panel visible, or find and make visible a Control on the Front Panel whose Visibility has been made False?

Displaying Hidden Front Panel Objects
Complete the following steps to display a hidden front panel control or indicator. You also can hide front panel controls and indicators.
Find the block diagram terminal for the object. If you have several terminals with the same data type, right-click the terminals and select Visible Items»Label from the shortcut menu. Find the object with the label that matches the hidden front panel object.
Right-click the terminal and select Show Control from the shortcut menu if the object is a control or Show Indicator if the object is an indicator.
You also can use the Visible property to display controls and indicators programmatically.
You also can display all hidden front panel controls and indicators.

How to Make Folders Visible in Library

I want to view folders in library to make sorting easier but my template of folders (created in Finder) will not show. Before I cull my images, I'd like to be able to sort/shove specific images into specific folders before culling. It appears that the only way to see these folders is to have an image in them.

One of Lightroom's strengths is photo management.
Your task of organizing can be done in any one of a variety of ways, including folders, keywords, collections, captions, etc. You really have a lot of choices to accomplish this.
The way I would do this is set up the following keywords "Pregame", "Concourse Shots", "Candids", etc. Then, photos go into folders by capture date or by event (I prefer capture date, but that's me); when it's time for you to search for specific photos, you can then select the desired folder and use the Filter Bar to find only the "Concourse Shots" from that event.
... but so many people say that sorting/culling in LR is great.
I have not heard this statement and I would not say that myself. In fact I would say Lightroom is okay for sorting (but very powerful for organizing and filtering); and as far as culling goes, I don't think Lightroom has any particular advantages over any other software.
