How to make iMessage sign in.

How can I make my IMessage work?
I type in my apple ID, then press sign in.
It then goes to the page where I have to select
The email address I would like to use.
So I select the one I want, and press next.
But then it says it is verifying, but then it automatically
Goes back to the page where I have to sign in.
How can I make it sign in?

Be sure that you are connected to the Internet before signing in to your iMessage. You can use your Apple ID for you to sign in.

  • How to make a sign-in Board

Can I use photoshop elements to create a sign-in board?  I want to make a 24x36 page that will be mounted on Foam Core for my daughter's friends to sign using a sharpie.  I want to make the background BLUE, add my child's name in TEXT at the top and a photo of my child at the bottom.  Since I just created a 24x36 collage, I know how to create the size and add a photo.  I don't know how to make the background blue and add text.  I've been playing around this morning with no success in trying to change the background layer color.  Can I have some guidance?

    Felisse,
    Open your blank new file
Duplicate background layer. Work on this layer.
    Set foreground color chip to blue (lower left}
Go to Edit>fill layer>Use foregound color
Change foreground color to a contrasting color
Access Horizontal Type Tool, in its option bar select size and font
    Type your message
Insert picture and place it using move tool.

  • How to make iMessage work on another device?

    Hello,
We've given my son our older iPhone 4S for his birthday but without a sim card (essentially making it an iPod Touch) but he'd like to be able to send iMessages to his friends.  The iPhone has my Apple ID so he can buy and download music, games etc. but I don't understand how to/whether it's possible to send independent messages.
    Any help appreciated.  Thank you.

So, the device has a Wifi connection, correct?
If so, then according to this article, he just needs to sign into Messages with his Apple ID, and put in his Apple ID email addresses in the appropriate places:

    To all Supplement Option subscribers:
At the supplement option for iDevelopment Accelerators, I uploaded a zip with detailed info on how to create and sign CAB files (necessary when you are running your application on the Native IE Java Virtual Machine).
Not all functionality provided to you through JInitiator will work (e.g. WebUtil doesn't) but the way how to make and sign a CAB file will become more easy.

This defeats the purpose of trying to centralize SAP-related web resources on the SAP server. Typically IIS/Apache or other non-SAP servers are under the control of IT and not the SAP BASIS group.
We simply would like to have a centralized location to store static web files so that they are not overwritten during Portal support pack applications.

  • How do you make imessage work? The icon is there. You can type in the recipient but are not allowed to hit the send button

How do you make imessage work? We upgraded to verision5. The icon is there. You can type the message but the send button is not available.

There is some instability in  iMessage.  It is a versatile and confusing app even though there are so few options in its use.
I had issues trying to get iMessage work on both my iPads and my iPhone.
ON the iPhone, turning off WiFi service and then trying iMessage fixed the problem.
On the iPad 2, same thing.  Turning off WiFi service fixed it.
On the iPad 1, I took a suggestion from zoomzoom and changed the WiFi network configuration on the iPad to use 8.8.8.8 as a DNS server and then use iMessage.  That fixed it.   Now I put the DNS back to default and it still works.
I suspect the iPod Touch will have the same fix as the iPad.
If you have a WiFi and 3G iPad or iPhone, try turing off WiFi and see if that fixes it.
Why?  (beware, some of this is guesswork)
iMessage can talk SMS to cellphones and smartphones (that are using the cell-network).  It can also talk Apple iMessage format to iPhones and iPads whether they are on cell-network or on WiFi.  If you are talking to an SMS cellphone, iMessage figures that out and blindly sends your message.  If you are talking to a iOS5 device, iMessage figures that out too, checks to see that they are on-line, and then does something different if they are or are not on-line.  If you type in an email address, and not a phone number, I think iMessage attempts to see if the email address is registered with Apple (or iCloud or whatever) and if it is not, it does something to let you know, possibly by making the Send button not light up.
In order to register iMessage and an email, you have to let the iOS device see whatever service it is that iMessage uses.  That is where the problem happenes.  zoomzoom suggested manually setting the WiFi DNS to google's 8.8.8.8 IP address, then run IMessage, and that seemed to fix the problem.  Setting the iOS device to use 3G-only (by turning off WiFi) also fixed the problem.  I suspect going down to StarBucks or McDonalds and using their WiFi would also fix the problem.  Once the problem is fixed, it doesn't seem to come back so I can't test these 'fixes'.
To change the DNS on your iPad find your WiFi networks configuration, click on the blue arrow, touch DNS, backspace over the number that is shown, type in 8.8.8.8    Then click on the WiFiNetworks button at the top of the screen.  Now go run iMessage.  After that, you can delete the DNS entry again and leave it blank.  Your iPad will fill it in from the WiFi router when it needs it.

  • HR Form Editor, How to Make a Rule to change - value to no sign

    Dear All,
I am making a pay slip in HR Form Editor and in a window i am displaying wage type text and values, values are negative but I want then to be displayed with No sign.
Can some one explain to me how to eliminate a sign of wage type vales in a window by using a rule or any other methord.
    Regards.

    Hi,
create a new 'line layout' for your specific form and have the value for conversion set to '19 - No +/- sign'.
Of course the specific WT should be linked to this new 'line layout' under step  'Window'
    Have fun.

  • How to make an anchored line for a sign-up sheet?

I work for a small non-profit, and, as such, I wear many (too many?) hats.  I have no other experience with Adobe products (except for a very short intro class to InDesign), so I apologize in advance if this is an obvious question!
SO, I often need to make documents (sign up sheets, donation forms, etc.) where I need to have something like this:
    Name: _____________________________
    Phone: _____________________________ (etc...)
What is the best way to do this in InDesign without just putting in a line?!?!  Lines (as far as I can figure out) are not "fixed" (anchored?), so when I want to copy or move the text box or move down the "Name" title (or a lot of other things), the line does not move along with it and I have to spend a ridiculous amount of time making and re-making lines. There must be an easier way to do this, right?
    Thank you so much!!!

I was on my way out the door when I posted earlier, so I didn't tell you as much as I could have.
Absolutely make use of right-indent tabs where they work. I also often use a space or thin space between the text and the tab to provide a separation between the text and the line. I usually use a character style to add the underline, and you can either use find/change to apply it after you are done, or if you're ambitious you can use a nested style.
If you want to use a nested style, start by applying none up to 1 ^t^y then the underline style through 1 ^t^y and finally repeat the last two styles. ^t is the metacharacter for a tab and ^y is the metacharacter for a right indent tab, and both are probably in the list of things you can select in the dialog, but now you know in case they aren't. One of the quirks of nested styles is that if you add more than one character to the trigger, ID will use the first one it finds from the list, so by adding BOTH types of tabs ID will find both a regular and right indent tab, or several regular tabs, on the same line, using the same nested style.

  • How to move iMessage account to different mobile phone number

    Hello
I am going to change mobile phone number and I would like to know how
    1) move iMessage/faceTime to this new phone number
    2) how to transfer the "history" (old messages) from my old phone number to the new one
    thx

    Hello, matteos72.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Make sure that your new number is updated in Settings > Phone > My Number.  Once this done, follow the steps in the quoted section below.  Next, sign back into iMessage and FaceTime.  The history will not be modified as no data is deleted.
    Unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages. If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.
Note: If you no longer have access to the iPhone that is using the number you want to remove, reset your Apple ID password.
