How to make InfoObject 0SBO_ALTACT attribute of 0GL_ACCOUNT

Dear all,
Anyone who knows a workable approach for providing the Alternative Account Number for navigation in New G/L Reports?
The field in ERP is: SKB1-ALTKT
There is an IOBJ called 0SBO_ALTACT (is that the one to use?)
I need Text and Attributes (ref to 0GL_ACCOUNT!?). I also assume it needs to be made an attribute on 0GL_ACCOUNT in order to make it navigational in G/L-reports. Is this feasible?
I am having problems understanding the set-up of Business Content is this area so if anyone could explain some workable logic, and/or point at some documentation regarding this I would be extremely grateful!!

Hi Suchindra,
You assign these enhanced attributes to design layer. so you can see these fields in Config tab.
How to do:
IMG->Customer Relationship Management -> UI Framework -> UI Framework definition -> Maintain
design layer
Here include the enhanced attributes and then go to component work bench and in context attributes right click assign the desing layer, selct your attribute and in the bottom click on SAVE button.
Then check it in configuration tab your attributes will available in show available fields.

How to make entire node attribute elements as read-only ?

Hi Experts,
I have an requirement to make all fields of an form view (based on one context node) in UI to be shown in Display mode. Any idea on how to acheive that ?
I know get_i_xxxx method. But, they should be coded for each attribute seperately. Any method based on node level ?
Also, any method based on entity ? I see a method 'switch_to_change_mode' of class cl_crm_bol_entity. But, there is no other method to change to display mode.

In your htm page you can place the below thing.
displayMode = "<%= controller->view_group_context->is_view_in_display_mode( controller ) %>" />
When the user clicks on the Edit button , in the edit event handler set the view to change mode using method SET_VIEW_EDITABLE.

Hi,
you can do that using an ABAP program in teh infopackage. You should write code to trigger an exception and throw a message if the selection is not given.
If it is possible to give selection by calulating a date like thing you can automate with ABAP code once again and can use it in teh process chain.

If anyone know how I can I make visible the attributes of models in Publisher? The problems is that there are no possibilities to visualize standard and free model attributes in Publisher. Of course I created a required filter in “administration module” ( “ configuration ” -> “conventions” -> “Filters”) before import to Publisher in BPA, but it was lack. :(

I posted previously the same question but there were not good answers and i was not able to understand clearly .....
If there is Process chain XXY which makes Attribute change run for Master Data 0SPELLING ?
Now there is Aggregate TRT which includes :
0SPELLING , Fiscal Period , Purchase Product, Purchase Category ?
Now pls answer following question ?
1) Does the Process Chain XXY which makes only attribute change run alignment for 0SPELLING , Will this process chain automatically do the Change run alignment for 0SPELLING in Aggregate TRT ? YES or NO
2) If Yes, then we are just suppose to do Roll up for Aggregate TRT after Process chian XXY completes and finish job ?
3) If No, then what steps are suppose to be DONE so as to make sure that Aggregate TRT has new values and perfect values for 0SPELLING ?

Hello everybody. I am a web designer (NOT a developer)
I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.
I have used phpform.org/ to custom build a submission form. Then I opened that html in dreamweaver (so that I could edit colors, fonts, and delete the phpform.org advetisement)
Now I need to link the 'submit button' so that it will e-mail me the completed form.
(formphp.org wants me to subscribe to a servie that I pay for in order to have the form e-mailed to myself.)
(after I get the submit button linked to an e-mail I will pull the html of my completed form into Muse- but I don't think that is really relevent)
I'm sure one of you can help point me in the right direction! I can't write my own code so detailed help is appreciated!

I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder. Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
     <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
I'm assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code. Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names. It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

when i m loading a page ...how to make value of select list as read only ..
i tried doing this ....
i added readonly attribute to the select list's element attibute ...it is showing as read only field by darkening the select list field but ... the select list is editable even now... its allowing to choose from drag and drop ...

I have the same requirment..
I have a select list on a editable form and i want to make that one read only.
When I use read only property it doent do anything. (But this is working for text items well).
When I use "disabled' option it works fine. But then that value does not post when use POST the form. So making select list disabled is not a solution.
Any Idea..

You can achieve this from BADI only if BADI is allows you to do this. You cannot achieve everything from a BADI. Check if there is any expoting field in the methods that can be ticked for making the field in display mode. If not then you cannot achieve this from BADI.
The field you want to default to display is a standard or zfield. If z, then you can changethe attribute of the screen field to Output only.

In the Attributes of a screen field, there is an attribute called "Groups". This has 4 options for input (4 text boxes)
SCREEN has 4 fields GROUP1, GROUP2, GROUP3 and GROUP4.
The first text box under Groups attribute corresponds to SCREEN-GROUP1,
2nd text box for SCREEN-GROUP2
3rd text box for SCREEN-GROUP3
4th text box for SCREEN-GROUP4

You can create a maintenance view for the table & here you can define the maintenance attribute for individual fields.
For the fields you want to be READ-ONLY pass 'R' to those fields. (It is the 4th column from the left, the one to the immediate left of the Key column).
Don't change the TMG function group directly. If you regenerate the TMG the changes would be overwritten !
You can use the Event '01' to fulfill your requirement:

How to make a column editable

Hi all,
I want a column to have checkboxes in my table where user can select at runtime.
I added one colum to my table with Checkboxes.But the checkboxes are comming in non Editable mode.
How to make them editable???
My context structure is already binded to my table..now i added one ValueNode with One attribute and i binded that texts property of checkbox to the Valueattribute
The cardinality of my ValueNode is 1..1 and selection is 0..1

when you added the checkbox as cell editor, then go to it's property:
set "enable" as true.
set "readonly" as false.
and create a boolean attribute "checked" in the table bode and bind it to the check box value property.
And in the onAction of checkbox wirte the code to select or deselect the checkbox.
and set the value as follows:
wdcontext.nodeTable().getcurrentElement().setAttribuiteValue("checked", true);

How to make a tabstrip visible and invisible again?

Hi
I have a GUI with Fields, Texts, Checkboxes, Radio buttons, a Button and of
course a tabstrip with 7 tabs.
Before I want to show some data in the tabs of the tabstrip, I have to fill the fields, check a radio button and checkboxes. After filled all entries needed, I will start
the preparation of the data with clicking on the button.
Before the click on the button the tabstrip has to be invisible. After the preparation
of the data I will make the tabstrip with its tabs visible.
All this is in the same dynpro (e.g. 0100). I don't build it together with to dynpros.
I tried with LOOP AT SCREEN ... ENDLOOP, but the tabstrip does not appear.
The only attribute accessable is "activetab".
How to make that happen?

Suppose you have 3 screen:
- 1 main screen (100)
- 2 subscreen    (101, 102)
In the subscreen 101 you need to design your tabstrip (so you need to move your tabstrip from main screen), the subscreen 102 has to be empty.
In the PBO of screen 100:
PROCESS PBO.
MODULE SET_SUBSCREEN.
CALL SUBSCREEN SUBAREA INCLUDING V_REPID V_SCREEN.
In the module SET_SUBSCREEN, you insert the code you need to choose the right subscreen:
IF _SHOW = 'X'.
V_SCREEN = '0101'.
ELSE.
V_SCREEN = '0102'.
ENDIF.
The flag _SHOW is setted in PAI after pressing the button:
MODULE USER_COMMAND.
    CASE OK_CODE.
       WHEN 'SHOW'. _SHOW = 'X'.
