  • IPad Mini Won't Sync With Mac Mini (ios 8.1 OSX 10.6.8)

    Problem : IPad Mini connects to iTunes OK, can be seen in iTunes and I can select which movies to sync to it etc.  When I hit the "apply" button after making a change (ie deleting or adding a movie) the sync lasts just a second then the "sync" button remains greyed out, and I can't make them sync.
    IPad Mini ios 8.1 Mac Mini OSX 10.6.8 (latest available version for my mac mini)

  • I recently bought a neew ipad mini and have sync messages from my iphone. Which worked fine.  I just picked it up and I have only to messages and can't figure out how to get back to the screen with the inbox and other folders?

  • Please help. I have an iPad mini and an iPad Air. I have recently upgraded to an iPhone 5s. Since then my iPad mini will not sync with the other devises on my calendar. The calendar settings on all 3 devises look to be the same.

    The devices do not sync with each other, never did. They sync to a server (iCloud, Google. Yahoo etc).

  • IPad Mini Retina not syncing with iTunes

    My iPad Mini Retina has not been syncing with iTunes for some time. 
    I have reset it - by holding down the home and power key.  I am using the new Macbook Air 2014 - because it has crashed on a few occasions it has also been restarted recently. 
    I am running IOS 7.1.2 on the Mini and 11.3 on the Mac Air.  It has stopped at various parts but the last few times has been stopping at Step 4 of the sync. A few people seem to have had this issue but I have not found a resolution yet.

  • Ipad mini and bluethoot connection with pc

    I have a ipad mini Model MD531C/A on version 6.1.3. It is named Caroline.
    I want to connect the ipad Caroline on the internet using bluethoot with my PC (on windows 8). My PC is named Creator.
    The PC detected the ipad named Caroline. The ipad dected the PC Creator.
    The PC sent a code to the ipad. I clicked yes on the PC, they were matching.
    Then I asked the ipad to connect to the PC Creator and it the ipad said (I do not remember exactly, but something like...) IT CAN NOT CONECT to that device.
    The PC Creator disapeared from the list of bluethoot devices detectable by the ipad.
    And I do not know how to go any farther with the ipad mini to detect the PC Creator again.
    And I am afraid that if I delete the ipad Caroline from the list in my PC, that it is not going to detect my ipad again since the ipad seems to have blocked or erase the PC Creator from the list of detectable bluethoot devices.
    Note:
    I had not itune installed on my PC. But, as I am writting this, I am installing it.

    I just recently bough a new iPad mini, gen 3 (I think).  I am trying to connect my new iPad to iTunes to upload some files onto it, however iTunes will not recognize my device.  I have iTunes 11.1, windows 8.1, and my iPad is on ios 7.0.4.
    I am not getting any error messages, but instead of giving me an option in itunes, my computer automatically opens up my ipad in a browser window instead.  The "iPad" menu button never apears in itunes, and it will not sync with my ipad.
    I have tried redowloading iTunes, as well as reseting my ipad.

    The depth (thickness) is the differing factor here. Most cases should work just fine. Some cases (especially the snap on back covers) *may* not fit because of the increased (.3mm/.01") thickness. The snap-on back (Best Buy/Rocketfish snap-on back shield) was a bit tight on my mini Retina but It was nothing I'd call a real issue. This is the type of case that may not fit or be tight because they wrap around the edges and snap onto the front of the mini's beveled corners. There is also an additional microphone on the iPad mini Retina. Original mini cases likely won't have this hole on the back. I don't know how critical that microphone is but in my situation, I simply drilled a small hole in the case back.

    I fixed my own problem - so excited...  On the iPad go to settings then mail, contacts, calendars opened icloud and turned on icloud on for contacts.  Re-synced iPad with Mac and *hey presto* all my contacts are there.
