Data stored in IT2001 are not for ESS approval. ESS leave request data is stored in a host of tables which start with PTREQ. You can do PTREQ* lookup in SE11 and findout. There might be 3 or 4 tables which you need to look into.
PTREQ_HEADER
PTREQ_ATTABSDATA
and maybe one more table.
Then you can do a LSMW.

How to make manager approve more than one request in one time in SSHR

Dear All,
Anyone has an idea on how to make manager approver more than one request in one time in SSHR??
for example, manager is having 20 requests to approve on Change Pay Function, he don't want to check one by one and approve it, he want to approve the 20 requests directly from one time, is there any solution for that??

As Vignesh has mentioned we don't have any standard functionality which will allow bulk approvals. We had same kind of requirement in performance management where the business was asking for a bulk approval feature which should be available to Skip level manager for approving the rating suggested by line manager. We had created a custom page which will list all the notifications and user can select the ones which S/He wants to bulk approve and click submit button. Internally we had called the workflow with item key and other required parameter and do the approval.
You can have a work with your technical guy and can work on the same lines.

How to make an user to have right to approve only one specific STS?

In our BPS STS, we assign user A both on the highest level of one STS hierarchy B and on the lower level of another STS hierarchy C. And because in our real business planning process, A should only have right to approve STS B and can be approved by others in STS C, so we grant authorization "R_STS_SUP" to this user A, but then he has all the authorizations for approving or rejecting plans in both B and C. How to make this user only have authorization to approve STS B? Is there someone can kindly solve this problem? Thank you very much.

          When one member becomes unavalibale due a server failure, traffic is then redirected toward other avaliable destination members in the set.
          Currently, I created two queues and defined two JMS Servers (JMSServer1, JMSServer2). These two JMS Servers are in same distributed destination (JMSDes1).
          My question is
          1) when the JMSServer1 is shutdown, How WLS marked it unavaliable? And How WLS makes it leave the JMSDes1? (If you can know where I can find the documents, it will be greate).
          2) After the JMSServer1 is recycled and is active, how WLS markes it avaliable and makes it join the JMSDes1 again?

If by "leave this page" you mean this forum, the solution is simple. You can't make Skype calls from a browser page. You must download AND INSTALL the Skype application to do so. Click on the Downloads link at the top of this forum page, then open the Skype.dmg file that appears in your Downloads folder. Drag/drop the Skype icon onto the Applications folder icon IN THAT WINDOW to install Skype. Thereafter, you'll find it in your hard disk's Applications folder. That should do it.

I am trying to figure out how to make the contents of a DIV on the page I'm clicking away from fade out. I know how to make the next page load with a fade in. So I'm half way there (I guess). Wix has a lot of designs that use this effect. Here's a link to an example:

Creating a New option in Leave absence form

In leave absence work flow i want to give a new option for the leave approver along with the Accept and Reject. The new option is Forward. when he choose this option the absence form has to go to his superior officer. How to do this?

You Need to have at least one substitute who can act upon work items in case of forward .
The Substitute agent would be able to see all your work items. A substitute cannot be assigned for only particular area of organization or any other item. So need to ensure that the substitute have the necessary authorizations to act upon the work items.
Procedure:
1.      Go to SAP Business Work Place (TCode: SBWP)
2.      Now from the menu bar, select Settings a Workflow settings a Maintain Substitute
3.      Highlight/Select the name on the window, in this case SAPDEV02 and click on u201CCreate Substituteu201D.
4.      List of users available in the system are displayed.
5.      Select the required substitute user name.
Validity field describes about the period in which the setting would be active. Note that the dates on the screen would range from the current date to 31st Dec 9999.
Important:Regarding the checkbox u201CSubstitution activeu201D, it is advised to leave this checkbox unchecked for system performance reasons. A check in this box indicates that the substitution is u201Cpermanentu201D and if left unchecked it is treated as u201Cas-neededu201D. A permanent substitute will automatically receive the primary users work items in their own box. In the case of u201Cas-neededu201D, substitute must manually adopt the work items from the primary useru2019s inbox.
6.      Save the entries
7.      Click Enter to leave the screen.

Delegation of CATS approval

Greetings
We have a situtation of few supervisors go on 1 month leave and hence the CATS approval gets held up. Is there anyway it can be delegated without disturbing the org structure each time.
We dont use workitems here and hence its a normal approval CATS screen.

Please try SBWP - Settings - Workflow Settings- Maintain subtitute via the user whose authorizations are to be delegated temporarily.

How to make PRINT QUOTAS WORK in 10.4
After struggling for quite some time, I finally found a pretty simple way to make print quotas work.
First, I’ll tell you our setup. We have 3 different computer centers with a variety of eMacs and new Intel iMacs, all clients are running 10.4.8, and each of those 3 centers has its own HP Laserjet 4200 printer. Our dual G5 server is running Server v.10.4.8. Client computers and printers have static IP addresses. All clients are bound to the server with the standard WorkGroup Manager/ LDAPv3 Directory Access scheme - such that all students login to the clients with their network username/password to mount their home directory on the client.
Next, I’ll tell you what does not work. IF YOU WANT PRINT QUOTAS TO WORK, you cannot use Workgroup Manager to assign a printer to any managed user account, user group, or computer group. Why? Because when you go to a client, and Show Info on the printer that is being pushed by Workgroup Manager, you’ll see that the queue name is not the queue that you’ve setup in Server Admin. Instead, you’ll see the queue name is “MCX” or something along those lines. Even if you manually edit the Workgroup print preference file that is being pushed to clients, it still will not work.
Drawbacks of my technique: In my case, students will see all 3 printers (1 from each lab) available to them no matter which lab they are in. Not the best, but for now I think it’ll be worth it to be able to control wasteful printing. Students may be able to move/delete the preference file (see below), but they’ll only be hurting themselves, as they won’t have any printers at all then.
Okay, here’s how I did it:
1. If you have setup any printers to be pushed out via Workgroup Manager’s preference enforcement to individual users, usergroups, or computer groups, turn those preferences off and leave them off.
2. Delete any existing printers in your Printer Setup Utility and/or Server Admin. Add and setup a new printer queue using the Server Admin> Print service. I added the printer through the Server Admin application, not Printer Setup Utility (may not matter). However, I did go into that latter utility to set the model of the printer. Now, back in Server Admin, edit the printer queue to turn on these services IPP, LPR (bonjour off), and of course check off the enforce quotas box. (No student Windows clients, so I didn’t tinker with SMB print service). I went ahead and specified the standard cover sheet – it will be handy while troubleshooting.
3. In Workgroup Manager, select the users that you want to enforce quotas upon, go to the Printer Quota tab (not the preference pane) and, in my case, I selected All Queues and specified a quota, and clicked Save.
4. Delete all printers that appear in the Printer Setup Utility from each client computer (I know, UGH).
5. For all network users, you need to edit a preference file and put it into each user’s home directory. That file is “com.apple.print.favorites.plist” and as you guessed, it needs to go into the Library> Preferences folder of every one of your network users’ home directories. Now, the content of that file is crucial… what it should show is the name of the queue(s) you created in Server Admin above, and be immediately followed by an “@” and the address of the server that is hosting that queue. For example, my queue’s name is TCStudentQ and the server’s address is student.mydomain.org… so my preference file has this entry: [email protected]. If you have more than one queue, you’ll have more entries. Be sure that the network user has at least Read level access under Group or Others. I’d recommend making the server System account the Owner of the file, and be sure to lock the file so the users can’t easily trash it. If you don’t know how to create this file in the first place, what you can do is go to a client computer, and log into the client with a dummy network account. Then open Printer Setup Utility, and you should see the queue you created in step 2. Add that printer, and then the file will be created in your dummy account’s home directory under Library> Preferences. Now you can use that file to distribute to other user’s folders… but don’t forget that each user needs Read level access.
6. That’s it. Works for me. When they exceed the quota, all that spits out is the cover page. It’d be nice if there was a quota monitor utility on the client side so users can see how many pages they have remaining and when the quota will automatically reset. I plan to start the quota on a Monday morning and go on a weekly duration. Not sure what a good starting point is… perhaps 25 pages every school week.
7. Hey Apple Computer, Inc. Server Developers & Project Managers, I truly hope you’re reading this and can explain why print quotas don’t function as you have documented and advertised. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I’ve spent way too much time discovering this workaround, and I know it will help thousands of others with the same problem. I can see where your Print Quota system breaks down, and I think you need to fix these issues or at least document them. Don’t forget to fix serious 10.4 Server bugs before leaving it behind for 10.5 Server – many of us will continue using 10.4 Server for at least another year or two.

Your assumption that I didn't read the documentation is incorrect. I read that 10.4 documentation over and over - followed it to the letter to no avail. Perhaps it was updated in the last few weeks? So, do you have a fully operable printer quota system in conjunction with a managed computer or user group that has a managed printer pushed to the group via Workgroup Manager? I can push a managed printer to a managed group without a problem, but the quotas won't be enforced unless I use the workaround above and cut Workgroup Manager's managed/pushed printer out of the picture.
I know this is a user-to-user forum - however, I'm also aware that Apple tech support often chime in here, so it doesn't hurt to post a message to them in the context of a larger posting about a 'known issue'. I have used the server feedback form... hasn't seemed to me to be very helpful in the past.

There are some job which run on everyday night. Now, something happened, the job run on Node A can't work as normal, but if run on node B, It will work well.
so I just want to submit the jobs on Node B, I submited the jobs on Node B, but the jobs always run on Node A.
I want to know how to make a job run on a appointed node.

the Job just transfer some procedure to add partitions for some table, to merge the records from some tables to one table and so on.
the problem is when the job run on Node A, it is very very slow, the procedure would run hours and not success end, but if on Node B it will successfully end in seconds.
restart the Node A would be a way for the problem, but may it will leave a hidden trouble. I want save the scene to find out the problem

How to make the Creative Cloud Uninstaller run silently ?

We created a deployment using Adobe Application Manager (AAMEE) in order to deploy Adobe Creative Cloud silently. That works fine. Now, when we uninstall the software, by running msiexec /x {productcode_of_the_msi_that_was_generated_using_AAMEE}, there's a log entry in the Event Viewer saying Removal success or error status: 0, which is good. However, there's one remaining entry in the "Programs and Features"-list in Windows 7 control panel: "Adobe Creative Cloud"
So I took a look in the registry and I found the uninstall string for that program: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\Utils\Creative Cloud Uninstaller.exe". Problem: this uninstaller won't run silently! Or at least I didn't find any switches / command line parameters to make it run silently. Does anyone know how to make it run silently?
Question for Adobe in case there are no silent options for this uninstaller : can you explain me why you create tools (AAMEE) to generate silent installers but still leave traces on the computer that can't be uninstalled silently???
As an application packager I would also like to address this general message to all the big software making companies out there (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe etc.) : other big companies that buy your software, mostly want to install and uninstall it without user intervention. So please package it so that we don't need to spend extra time and money deciphering your fancy, exotic installers / uninstallers. MSI is quite a good standard you know...

If I understood correctly, you have created an installation package including creative cloud desktop app through creative cloud packager not AAMEE.
Adobe creative cloud doesn’t get uninstalled even if all the products and updates are removed from machine. But this will not cause any issues (or extra space) on installation of new package.
Its recommended that if the package is modified (adding more products or updates to existing package) and installed then it should be uninstalled via msi of modified package.

I thought the question was well purposed. Using HTML was not acceptable in this instance, which was made clear, so why critisize his comments? "Using HTML" is a poor solution, it does NOT work in many instances due to browser, OS variations. Usually the "common answer" is never a COMPLETE answer.

Known Limitations:
1. Flowlayout does not work well with single line text buttons... perhaps another layout manager may work better for various buttonsizes-linenumber combos.
2. Mac OSX : The default UI for Mac OS X (and above it seems), is to have rounded edged buttons. These rounded edges are destoryed when using JLabels, leaving a square, blocky button in its place.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
(this is ugly and time consuming)
- create images of the button with text on them.

How to make a simple Plugin system?

hey guys, first let me say I see very much hostility here, and I'm not here to annoy anyone, so if you don't feel like answering then simply don't.
I want to design a simple Plugin System for my application. I think what I need is a bit of reassurance and redirection if I'm making wrong assumptions.
here is the stages I see:
1. the system has a HashMap<String,PluginTypeData> that holds types of plugins, and the folder of the application that hold the libraries files for the plugins among other details.
(this would be saved in the application configuration file)
2. once the application starts/on request the system would load the libraries into the memory.
3. in each library there should be a file that holds the textual fully qualified name of the classes that this plugin would require to operate properly.
4. the objects in the library would have to be familiar to the application, therefore they must implement or extend a known base object from the application, and once loaded a reference to that known base object is assigned to the new object.
5. and then if I want to load a GUI component from the plugin I just get it from the reference.
lets start with how does that sound? I would like to get a feed back, just a serious one please, that may help me understand any mistakes I might be doing, and not just to understand that I'm wrong....

well, English is not my native, so I find it hard to describe, sometimes I feel the lack of words to describe what I want, and I have to take a break, and use a dictionary to find the right word to use, and sometimes these are basic words that I miss so I'm sorry if I'm not clear.
And this will be required for every single plugin in exactly the same way? If not then each plugin should include a factory.Yes, they are all saved the save way, every plugin has a method that create an instance of a basic class J2MeDataChunk.
The types of the data chunks are defined on the J2Me platform and only there.
The reason that they are defined on the J2Me platform is because of the first limitation of the J2Me platform.
1. I cannot import into the build path of the project any external libraries.Therefore in the future when I would like to add more chunk types, I would have to add them into the J2Me project as classes, and not as a jar in the build path, but the plugin would have to refer to the J2Me project and to know which chunk type it is going to edit.
Each plugin knows how to edit a different type of J2MeDataChunk, the data chunks saves them selfs into a data output stream using a serialize method in each of them, and the serialize method is invoked from the plugin itself when the user (me) press the save button.

What do you mean "external" libraries? Your code doesn't count right?I mean that a J2Me project cannot import other jar files into its build path, only the classes files that are in the project are known to the complier.

Presumably you are managing the data items because the base class is going to provide functionality relevant to them.Right, the base class is the most common ground I could find for all the chunks together.
Presuming that each "type" really is a type (say you have 4 interfaces any of which might be implemented) then you would need the following in
a configuration file for each entry.
1. Type of the implemented class.
2. Full name of the implemented class
3. Full name of the GUI dialog object.
4. Optional Name of this entry. I suggest this as it allows you to report errors using this name rather than plugin class names
Per your requirements there is no path nor jar is needed nor can be specified.well I hope that by now you did get that I generalized all the data chunk types that I created into one basic object which I posted earlier, this object handles everything, and the plugin main object would be design on the J2Se platform and would extend that J2MeDataChunkType class and it would return the Swing frame/panel when the J2Se application calls the getPanel method and an empty chunk on the getDataChunk() method.
