You can use T.Code F.80 for mass reversal.
From this T.code you can select document range as well select Multiple documents selection button from right hand side.

Mass reversal of documents posted using F.13

Hi Friends,
We have some GR/IR open items as on 28.02.2010, and we ran the F.13 program to clear those line items with clearing date 03.03.2010. Since all those documents cleared on 03.03.2010. In total there were 1000+ documents posted by the program.
But unfortunately user has not entered the posting date range in F.13 selection screen as 01.03.2010 to 03.03.2010. Because of this, documents related to FEB period also cleared in march and if we run the FBL3N with open item key date 28.02.2010, all items are showing open items. which is correct from the system perspective.
But we need clear, those documents posted prior to 01.03.2010, with clearing date 28.02.2010 only.
In FB08, mass reversal option, we can reverse multiple documents, only in case of open items, but not the cleared items.
My requirement is that, is there any program / way to reverse the cleared items, posted by using F.13.
We cannot use FBRA, since we have 1000+ docs.
Please advise.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I have acheived my target, using LSMW batch input recording method with tcode FBRA to reset the cleared items.
After that, i went to F.80 and given the doc number series and did the mass reversal.
Again i did F.13, given end posting date as 28.02.2010, and clearing date 28.02.2010 and executed.
This resolved my issue.

Hi, The users when try to do the Mass Reversal of the documents using the T Code F.80, the system displays the documents that cannot be reversed and gives the error message -
Message : 00349 Field BSIS-BLDAT does not exist in the screen SAPMF05A 0105.
Thus the documents cannot be reversed using the Mass Reversal option.

I think you are doing this with BDC.The screen SAPMF05A screen 105 will have posting date and document date but not the base line date.Hence, the error.Please correct the program to include ZFBDT(Doc date) and BUDAT(Posting date).The BSIS-BLDAT is not required here.

I have 4 scanned, pre-cropped pages from a recent graduation ceremony ready to go. Acobat will let me scan them in but makes them 4 separate PDF documents. Once I go into any of those I can see no way to add pages or combine the 4 PDFs into one big four page PDF. I searched these forums... but all the questions I have found have been from more experienced users asking more advanced questions.

Well actually my adobe reader gave me the option File>Create Adobe PDF Using Acrobat.com but the website doesn't seem to allow for anything other than the most basic PDF construction/conversion unless you upgrade to Acrobat.com Premium. It will be cheaper in the long run for me to just buy the standalone version of Acrobat since I don't need the features like Shared Workspace, etc. But yeah, I follwed a link from reader and that's how I got this far.

How to make Service Callout to Document (XML) Based Web Service Proxy

Hi,
I am receiving a String which is basically XML via MQ.
I want to do a Web Service Callout using the String based XML to a Proxy Service that is a Document Based Web Service.
When I make the call using the String as the input parameter, I get many PipeLine Exception errors on the console and it does not reach the Web Service.
Based on my readings, I believe that I need to place an XMLObject variable in the Service Callout instead of a String.
How do I do this?
I've tried the fn-bea:inlinedXML function but that does't seem to work.

Hi Anuj, seems that the problem was an invalid character in the Mq Message when I tried to apply the inlinedXML method to it.
This is resolved now.
The solution:
1) Assign Mq $Body to variable
2) Use Java Callout to remove special characters fn:string(body)
3) convert Java Output String to XML using inlinedXML xquery function
4) Do a replace on the $body node contents using the XML variable
5) Call Web Service.
if you dont do the XML conversion, the web service throws a Pipeline Exception.

How to Make Mass Adjustments w/ Details

My Finance customers are looking for a method to apply many adjustments in a bulk fashion.
For example, the analyst will need to push forecasted expenses for 30 different cost centers from September to October. In our Hyp. Planning (System 9) application, the analyst will need make the negative adjustment in Sept. (w/ detail) and then make a positive adjustment in October (w/ detail).
Is their a bulk method to handle this type of business requirement?

There's no easy answer to this, at least in the current release -- I don't know what coming versions are bringing.
I'll throw this thought out:
You're saying that in some external system(s) (relational, spreadsheets, pieces of paper) you've got detail. You want to get summarized detail into Planning/Essbase in a batch mode. So why do you want the detail in Planning? You've got it defined externally. A batch load is kind of antithetical to the concept of user-entered supporting detail.
Why not just leave the detail wherever it is and just load the consolidated data into Essbase via a load rule (or ODI or whatever other approach you like)?
I've always viewed SD as something a financial analyst enters for a reason (he's trying to show the path to the final number as stored in Essbase). Keep it that way.
I have been part of a project where historical detail was loaded through code -- it was not pretty.

Mass reversal of GL docs created by BDC session

I need to mass reverse GL documents posted in BDC session. I tried to record a BDC for F.80 but there is a problem with dynamic selections (the session name I want to reverse is in dynamic selections). The screen fields in dynamic selections have dynamic names (e.g. %%DYN001) and filling them from BDC does not work. If I replay the record created by SDHC I get the error than the field does not exist on the main program selection screen. How can I pass the session name to the BDC?
Or, is there any alternative (e.g. BAPI/FM for mass reverse that can read the session name too)?

I don't know this object type, so maybe there's a BAPI as you suggest.
If you don't find one, you may pre-fill the LDB selection screen parameters by creating a little custom program, that will call the report behind F-80 using SUBMIT ... WITH FREE-SELECTIONS ... Then you may either create a Z transaction to launch this custom program, or simply use SA38/SE38 if the user is authorized to it in the productive system. Then you'll call this transaction using batch input.

How to make a stationery out of .doc or .docx file?

I stumbled upon a website that has some nice stationery, in .doc format. and since there few free pre made stationery available for Mail.app, at least to my knowledge, because I think I almost downloaded every free stationery available out there that could be easily found via Google. I decided to download some of these .doc stationeries and try to put them in Mail.app, but first I had to convert them into .html format. so here is what I've already tried and did not work:
first I tried opening them in TextEdit, which supports .doc out of the box, only to find out that the pictures in the documents are gone to thin air. I tried saving it and then opening it with something else like Open Office, but the pictures were permanently gone.
then I tried opening the original documents directly in Open Office, you guessed right If you said they will look screwed, and they were, and tried to save them as html, they were screwed even more.
so I did a bit of research and found out that I could use Google Docs in order to convert the documents, I uploaded them into my Google docs and then tried to open them with it, but found it that Google docs can't handle the pictures (specially background pictures) either. as a result I did more searching to find a document converter and here is what I found:

http://www.freefileconvert.com/ was pretty good to convert the files into an .odt format. at first I thought yes I got the solution, now I can simply convert it to html using Open Office, but unfortunately, when I saved the document in html format and checked it in Safari to see how does it look, as If I would have done the same in MS Office with the original format, it looked pretty much screwed .
So I continued to look and I found a few other online services one of them asked me to pay a fee, I skipped to the other one which was http://docx-converter.com/. unfortunately the website wasn't functioning properly I think, at least for me (maybe someone out there has succeeded using it, I don't know.) and it didn't send me anything.
Finally I found http://www.zamzar.com/ that could convert .doc or .docx documents into html, or at least that is what it claims to do so, I tried it, and after I received the file via email, I found out it only contains a bmp image of the document's background. So much for the online conversion services!
But I decided I would give it a last shot using MS Office online, so I opened up my old Windows Live mail and went into my Skydrive, I uploaded the documents and tried saving it as html, but there were no save as html (after all an online copy of MS Office should have some limitations, otherwise few people will be willing to buy a Desktop version) but this didn't made me disappointed, since I already knew, that Neither Office Word can make a clear conversion, so I tried something different, while I was in Safari looking at the document in online MS office, I saved the page as Web Archives, then I opened the file with TextEdit, and after deleting useless links and pictures, I finally managed to get a clear document with everything that supposed to be in it. At this point I only need to know how to make use of this document to create a stationery with this raw file which is in Web Archive format. any ideas?

I'm a total idiot! How did I overlook http://www.zamzar.com/ functions? I think I might have mistakenly chosen convert to BMP instead of html. I tried it and the result was very good.
OK I finally found a good solution for this problem, so everyone out there that has the same problem, here is what I did:
1. OK if you have some .doc and .docx file formats and you want to convert them into something like .html or .odt, without having to reedit the code or getting a screwed document, use http://www.freefileconvert.com/ in order to convert them into .odt so they would look as they do in MS office just go to the website and upload your documents then choose .odt, then click convert, after a few moments you will get a link to download your .odt files. you can use and play around with your document in Open Office, I have tested it and it's really good.
2. Or if you want to convert them into .html with a clean code, and all the elements in it, simply go to http://www.zamzar.com/ and then ulpoad your documents, choose .html and enter your email address, you will have your .html files zipped and sent right in your inbox, then you could use Kompozer like me, or any other html editor, to make a template out of it. I tried it and the result was nice, now I have a bunch of nice html files that I can use to make templates and email stationery.

How to block the usage of reversed billing document for future

Hello,
A billing document that we reversed earlier was printed later. Billing document type is S1 and output type assigned to it is RD00. We don't want them the users to print the document that was reversed or cancelled. How can we make this document printed by only certain users? And do I just have to remove the output type if we never want the reversed billing documents to be printed?

i think removing the output condition type may work , after your printing is done , u can manually remove the output type in the
document itself. so that the document will not be printed by others.

We have MBST for reversing/cancelling trhe material documents. But how can we reverse/cancel the material documents on a mass basis?
In transaction MASS, there is no object created for mass reversal of material documents.
How can we create an object for mass reversal of material documents?
Is there any other Tcode or program for mass reversal of material documents?

I think instead of LSMW ,you go for a BDC to reverse the documents
Go to FBRA Transaction code put the document to be reversed and reset and recording the transaction to make a BDC with Help of a ABAP consultant with the T.code SHDB. Try it in development server.
If it is successful, then you can do reversal for all the documents you want by uploading the document nos. into BDC from a excel or from Notepad File.
