PDF Maker not working after Loading Office 10

I've read the other forum posts on this and none of the solutions worked.
Office 10 does not have a normal.dot file to rename or remove.
I applied the Registry patches with no success
I de-installed Acrobat 8 and installed Acrobat 9.
I checked for updates to Acrobat 9and loaded those as well.
The Acrobat tab shows up in the office applications but nothing happens when I select Create PDF or any of the other selections except Acrobat Preferences.
When I select Preferences it crashes Word. Word then restarts on its own and says there is a serious problem with Acrobat AddIn, I should check for updates and would I like to disable. This is the same for Excel as well.
I tried to place C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\PDFMaker\Common\ as a trusted source but my security settings did not allow.
The AddIn is in the Active AddIn section and does not appear in the deactivated AddIn section.
I really like this feature. A resolution would be greatly appreciated.

With OFFICE 2010 and AA8 or AA9, you can print to the Adobe PDF printer and nothing more. To get compatibility with OFFICE 2010 for PDF Maker, you have to use AA X. In addition, if you are on a 64-bit machine, you may have to use the 32-bit version of OFFICE. I am not sure if the latest AA X is compatible with the 64-bit version yet.

After moving the harddrive from one laptop on which NWDW(developer workplace) is installed, to another laptop, my local J2EE engine is not working anymore with Red color. I guess the hardware key is different for different laptop shell although they have the same harddrive? Is there a way to change hardware key? Is there a way to make my local J2EE work without reinstalling NWDW?
Any Advise/ suggestions?

Yes , Hardware key is different for different installation (and its key part when we extend the validity of the server), Send the log file.
Is there a way to change hardware key : You can try one workaround here that send the request for extend the validity of the server which will ask for H/W key once get put it in Instance.(try this)
At the time of installation It play with OS level ,Service registry etc ,I dont think so change the hard drive will work.

Jin,
As your J2EE engine is not comming up for a second then you can't do anything. May be you have to install temporary Licence or you have to get new one.
You should ask this question in section Application Server --> SAP Newtweare AS, General forum.
Why you do not want to reinstall J2EE Application Server?
If you reinstall J2EE web AS then you have to redeploy your project from NWDS. Just reconfigure your J2EE engine setting in NWDS after you reinstall and just redeploy.
Or may be you do not have to reinstall Basis person can install new j2ee license.

Do you speak of true blue Java or Javascript? If the latter then it is a problem with the Browser.
But if it is the real Java, do you have the offical version of Java from Oracle installed?
Getting applications to see official Java is a nightmare. If you install the Runtime Environment only (JavaRTE) most applications do not see it.
To force offical Java system wide, I found you have to install the Java Developer Kit (JavaJDK). It's a larger install as it also comes with documentation and compilers but it make offical Java system wide.

DVR with fms3 , how to make it work?

I am trying to look for documentation on how the DVR functionality is working in fms3. It seems that I need to implement som server-side scripting to make DVR even work. In Flash Live Encoder there is an option to Record DVR, but it when I press the button, all I get is:

use this to stream your video while recording.....what makes it record?and not live? this line here:

E540 SSD caching - how to make it work

Hello. Does anyone know how can I rebuild E540 SSD caching? The problem is, that I formatted the whole notebook (1TB HDD + 16 GB SSD) and now after fresh install of Windows 8.1 it doesn't seem to use the 16 GB SSD as cache. I installed Intel Rapid Storage, but I can't install Intel Smart Response (which seems to do the SSD-caching) because it needs the RAID to be enable in BIOS but I don't have such an option. Any idea how to make it work?

I also have the same problem, after 5 minutes I can't open or place anything in illustrator. I have this problem also in photoshop cc 2014. This started after installing Yosemite.
Tried to reinstall but nothing helps.
Today after updating creative cloud application it is even worse: illustrator is not opening anything: not even a new file. So I reinstalled... and I can open again for 5 minutes. But then it crashed while saving. Now I can't open illustrator at all...so nothing left to do then reinstalling again I suppose?

would love to...way over my head so far...upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.2 - I have another MAC (motorola chipset...maybe 10.6?) and 3 PCs on the network...the older MAC linked up through the network just fine...
I can see the Yosemite MAC on the PCs...I can open customer file folders (I am a printer) from the shared drive...I can drag files (let's just call them PDFs, they mostly are) to the MAC customer file...but if I try to open them from the PC I get an error message that says permission denied - or may be in use by another user. There are no other users. After I uploaded to Yosemite, I noticed most if not all drives and or folders had permissions changed to either no access or to read only...I've changed as many as I could find...drives, and folders...I can open those same files if I'm on the yosemite mac...Here's the catch, though...I was on a different floor and that PC can open a PDF on the Yosemite...but the RIP that prints our large format prints now won't print those files (whole RIP locks up) unless they are first dragged to the PC desktop...then all is fine. I thought it was MAC upgrade oriented, but I do have a PC that halfway works...I'm really stymied...

I cannot use the software.. so you need to figure out where the problem is..
But let me suggest.. the Mac is not the issue and likely the info from Sony is also up the creek.. they make PC's after all.
It is far more likely the camera is having issues with the wireless network.
Do you know you have a connection to the home network on the camera.. ?? You have an IP address and some internet or local access at least?
How you will discover those things is by fiddling.. but if you can tell me what wireless AP you are using that will help.
