How to make messages vibrate?

My new 8x does not vibrate when I get messages or phone calls even though it is on the "vibrate" setting. I tried restarting it but that still didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Let's make sure we don't get those loud texts and calls when the device should be on vibrate.

You might want to try using a bluetooth headset as there is no way to enable a vibration when a call is connected.
You can find a variety of supported headsets at the Shop BlackBerry website.

How to make phone vibrate on ring, not messages?

Hi,
Im trying to set up my phone so that it only vibrates when an incoming call comes through, for all other things (messages, notifications etc) I want it to be on silent.
Can't seem to figure out how to set this up, any ideas?

How to make message IW 703 as error in T-Code: IW31.

Hi All,
In SAP R/3 PM, during the Work Oder creation in T-Code: IW31, we are getting the Message "IW 703 - Work Centre -- Locked in Plant -- " as WARNING. This happens whenever we use a locked Work Centre. But further it allows us to create the order.
Our scenario is to make this message as ERROR. That it should NOT allow to create a work order with a locked work center.
This has already been maintained as "E" in "configure messages" in IMG for IW 703.

We tried the suggestion given by you, but it's not working. We are still able create a work order using a locked work center.
The program is hard coded as below:
"MESSAGE W703 WITH P_VAPLZ P_VAWRK"
Please advise how to change this message from warning to an error one so that it prevents creation of work order with a locked work center.

Can't figure out to make my Droid 2 Global vibrate instead of making a sound when I get a text. Can't seem to find that option in settings. I'm a newbie so if you can help it is much appreciated.

Open up your messaging app and hit menu, then settings. Find the notification settings and there should be vibrate options in there for never, always, or only on silent. You can also set your notification sound to silent.

How to make Messages appear on a specific View?

we are bulding a webdynpro application which uses several views in different components. We are using the IWDMessageManager to display messages. The strange thing is, that the messages do not always appear in the view You would expect. For example if a message is raised in the component-controller of component A, the message might appear in a View of component B, or even does not appear at all.
I guess that the messages tend to show up in a view which has been loaded first, but I can not reproduce this clearly.
How may I control on which view a message appears?

The messages are always displayed in the Message Area that is loaded first in a perspective(Combination of DC's views). This is an extract from Message Area documentation.

How to make message transfer to a topic from a business service synchrouns?

I am posting a message to a JMS queue using a business service (say A) and then I am fetching that message from that queue and using a proxy service (B) and a business service (C) for transferring that message to a topic, now I want that my business service A gets the same message that it initially posted as a response back from the topic to make the whole message transfer synchronous, but the problem is that as I select topic on my JMS transport configuration page of business service the text box where I need to specify the URI for the topic gets blocked,hence I am unable to get a response from the topic, can anybody help me out with this as I really want to make this synchronous.

yes u got it correct...v require a synchronous message transfer to happen i believe d alternative can be that i send the message to topic directly using a business service and expect a response from the topic itself in the form of the message i initially posted, that thing I would manage but the real problem is to get a response to the business service when i use topic, because as i select topic on JMS transport configuration page of business service the end point URI textbox gets blocked...

Vibration setting: how to make it vibrate continou...

my cyan Lumia 800 (OS 7740, firmware 7720, hardare x.3) vibrates only two short bursts (about 1 sec) each upon receiving a call, but I want it to viabrate as long the ringtone rings.
Vibrate is "on", what else can I configure and is this a known issue?

& Firmware revision number : xxxx.2479.7740.xxxxx
& Hardware Revision: xxx.2.3
My assumption is that the firmware revision number is country/carrier specific. Mine is factory unlocked, as in my country all the mobiles are sold in full retail and there is no concept of Carrier Lock... In which region/country are you currently in..?

and one more that kff field working is fine for ex display any text pled displayed properly and only problem is not set the value and HrSitKeyFlex6 and HrSitKeyFlex7 fields are perfectly get the values but not pront HrSitKeyFlex8 that only my issue....

how to make error message as warning message? ie i get error message hence cannot save the slaes order   i want to make that error message as warning so that i can save the sales order please help.

If a message is a custom message, then by changing the message type from E(Error) to W (warning)   we can convert the message type into error message. This is done with the help of development guy. A change in the code is needed.
If it is a standard message, then it depends on whether we have teh access to change the message type. If access is there, then it is possible to change the message from Warning to Error. i.e. If we are capturing std SAP message in our code and displaying then we can change it, else if SAP message is displayed directly, we cant change it.
So, to change it, capture the error message from SAP in some Zcode and then convert that message into a custom message of message type E.
The whole change needs ABAP support.
Try with tcode <b>OVA2</b> settings selecting for sales order or in SAPRO--SD-BF-Log of Incompletion Items

I use Mail to access both my Gmail and Mac mail. Mail has begun marking as Junk messages from my Contacts, including VIPs. In Preferences, I have checked the boxes to have Contacts and Previous Recipients exempt from email filtering, yet they still sometimes end up marked as Junk and sent to the Junk folder. These are all Gmail messages: I use my iCloud account very little. I've unchecked the Trust junk mail headers... and Filter junk mail before applying my rules. I don't see how to make Mail leave my Gmail alone! Can anyone help?
