How to make playlist in Nokia 6300

Hi,
I bought nokia 6300 without knowing that it won't allow to make playlist
Can anyone help me or is there any way to make playlist of your own choice I guess it should allow to make playlist its very basic thing which is supposed to be in mp3 supported mobiles

You can create a playlist using Nokia Music Manager (PC Suite application). Then, transfer the playlist to your phone.
Select songs you want and then choose File > Create new playlist.
Should be draggable/copy-able just like music files after it's created.

Hello,
How can I organize the music on my phone - Nokia 6300? I have created a few different folders but the music player will just put all the music files together?
Some of the music is actually audio books so I definitely don't want these mixing with actual music... I tried all kinds of stuff but I just can't seem to separate audio files into different folders or something. The manual doesn't provide any info either so I thought maybe somebody here could help.

Go to Music Player on your 6300 phone.dont play yet, click the "option" and then "music library" and then click the "all tracks".after doing that, you should see all the playable song's stored in your memory card.here's the trick. for example, you just want to play all your favorite songs at a time, or maybe your so sentimental that you only want to hear all the love songs, then go find all the love songs you want then click the option again and then click the "add to favorites". after you add all the love songs you want to favorites click the back and then go to "track list" and it will show you all the possible option there like the "favorites", "most played", "recent tracks" etc..click the favorites option since you only want to play all your love songs at a time.after that play any songs that you will see at the favorites option.just one song. while playing, now click the "option" again then click the "show tracks" then "option" and last is "save as track list" then it will ask you for a "file name".named it anything you want,like uhmm "LOVE SONGS" since you add only all the love songs you like just for example.after saving it you have now all the love songs saved as your track list.now go to "music library" then click the "track list" then go to "my track list".there you can find the file name that you save like "LOVE SONGS" then play it.VOILA AT LAST.YOU CAN NOW ONLY LISTEN TO ALL THE LOVE SONGS THAT YOU SAVED.now, if you want to create another playlist, go to the "FAVORITES" again then erase all that's been saved there then add another songs to your favorites like alternative songs or rap or anysongs you only want to hear then just do what i have told you recently.play again form my favorites then save it as track list and this time, saved it on different file name like "ALTENATIVE" so you won't confused what's the songs on it.got it!! As a general rule, we strongly advise to purchase Nokia accessories only in Official Care Centres or authorised retailers to make sure you are getting an original part. (I'm answering this old topic for reference sake).

you can try to install it via pc suite.
.jar file usually come along with a .jad file which describe the installation info. If the phone support java application, the installation should start when the download is complete.

I have the same issue. While I am sure your solution would work, my playlist has over 6,000 songs and hiting every song to download it is not very practical. Is there another way?

I was wondering if there was a way to make a CD Jacket with artwork from songs selected and also how to make a same size sheet to fit in the CD holder that has the exact song order and titles by printing out directly from your playlist.

There is a pretty basic CD insert that you can print from iTunes, if I remember correctly it will print whatever artwork is attached to the first song in the playlist.
Open iTunes, highlight the playlist in question, go to File>Print and choose the CD Jewel Caser Insert radio button. Theres also a little Theme menu.
However you can get much more flexibility from a dedicated CD Cover program. I use Cover Star, it's inexpensive and makes good quality CD booklets, back covers and disc overlays. It will generated artwork for you or you can drag your own picture files to it. You can download a trial version from this link: http://autostylus.com/coverstar.html. It's fully functional apart from printing so you can play around with it and save the inserts until you decide if it's for you. Purchasing a license then releases the final function and anything you saved previously can be printed off.

Again, are you talking about genuine Nokia firmware, not any of some 3rd-party customised versions?
For officially released firmware, you may force Nokia Suite to reinstall even if your firmware is already up to date. This feature might be missed in its GUI as its link is "hidden" in the prompt message, not on a button or highlighted with underscore. Try Nokia Suite, once the phone is connected, click the icon of Software Update on the top, then click the word "reinstall" in the prompted message.

I plug Nokia 2710 in USB in Mac computer OSX 10.6.4, and I see 3 options:
1. PC suite
2.Print &media
3. Data storage
My questions are about option 1. PC suite.
When I select it, I can see in Network Preferences
2 icons for Nokia phone:
Nokia 2710c
and
Nokia 2711
and on the Network Preferences pane there are options to configure them with options to set telephone number,account name and password.
(My Nokia 2710 is connected and works with mobile phone network Virgin in Australia)
How exactly to set these configurations and how to use them?
And which one to configure - Nokia 2710c or Nokia 2711?

Probably would try 2710c first and watch out for any capitalisation in VirginInternet
Something at the back of my memory suggests that you may need to create a new location in Network Preferences but I maybe wrong here.
