Not really. Note if you hover over the scroll bar, it gets roughly 2x wider.
Still, it's a lot easier to use the scroll wheel or trackpad to scroll than it is to grab the scroll bar.

There doesn't appear to be a setting in TurboTax to make the font bigger.
But you can go to Applications/System Preferences/Displays/Display and pick Resolution:Scaled and experiment with different resolutions, which will make the fonts look bigger.

Have you tried Firefox's zoom feature? Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages
You can "zoom" all sites using this add-on: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ NoSquint]. After setting your global zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites.
After installing NoSquint, click the % on the Add-on Bar to call up site preferences, then click the Global Settings button, then the Zooming tab.
If you don't have the Add-on Bar displayed, you can right-click the new tab button ("+") or a blank area of the tab bar to the right of it and choose Add-on Bar from the shortcut menu.
You can experiment with sizes larger than 125%, but I wouldn't go much higher than 150% unless you have a large high-resolution monitor.
If there are particular sites that still present a problem, feel free to post their URLs.

How to make font larger in Pages?

I just got my first iPhone, the 4s. v 7.1.1. I'm familiar with Pages on the iMac…but Pages for the iPhone - I can see how to change text that's already been written, but how do you choose the font size before starting the document? In the document manager, I'm selecting "Blank", to start. Once I start typing, the font is big enough to read, but to just open and read the document would be impossible, it's that tiny.
Also, in Document Manager, the document titles are totally impossible to read, and I cannot find a way to change their fonts.
I'm probably (I hope), overlooking something really obvious, but I'd sure appreciate any help

I'd seen that, but thought it was about editing, because I had looked at the Apple page which describes the app, pointing out the great location of the format bar, right above the keyboard - which it isn't, on mine. So I thought I'd missed something.
Ok so apparently you have to enter some text, highlight it, make the change, then the text you enter following that will be the size you chose. I see on that page too that someone mentioned "save as" - I have no Save As, I have "Done" after I've edited as above, and when I'm back in my document, the only choice I can see is "Documents" to take me back to the Documents Manager page, where it's saved. There, I can "Edit" and "Rename" documents, but I can't find a way to increase the font size for the names, and they're unreadable.

On my MacBook Pro I am having problems with my print (fonts) being very small (compared to my G4 which was fine). I fixed my desktop print so that my eyes are not too stressed, however, in all my programs, incoming mail, etc. the screens are very small (as in the AOL sign-in screen), and the print is really hard to read. Changing the font size in the Mac settings does not work (too blurry) and changing the screen size is even worse. Anyone else have this problem, or is my computer strange? Thanks....Have had it 6 weeks, and I have sent it back once because the speakers had to be replaced, and hope it isnt just a lemon. Or is there a free 3rd party program which can help this problem? Several of our users have had similar complaints about the newest Powerbooks and MacBook Pros. The fact of the matter is, the screen is fairly high-resolution and not that large, thus each pixel is pretty small. This means that text is going to be small.
We have suggested decreasing the resolution, like you did, but then it does make it a little blurry.
You could turn on screen zooming by going to System Preferences, then Universal Access, and turning on Zooming.
Do you use this computer away from a desk most of the time? Many users have been happy with 20" and 23" Apple Cinema Displays, which have larger pixels.

Hi, I want to edit a large photo so that it fits the width of the browser (I'm using a responsive layout). The image needs to be a small file size so that it loads quick enough.... My question is are their any tricks or adjustments within Photoshop where I can reduce the file size of an image whilst maintaing large image size. I heard that adding noise can reduce the file size or something? Is there any other effects that do this?

Download a piece of software called TinkerTool - that might just solve your problem. I have used it myself to change the system fonts on my iMac. It is software and not an app.

I'm making an ipad version of a news paper in indesign but I have a little problem.
I made a scroll bar for the menu so you can scroll through all the news.
now I want to make a second scroll bar on the same page so when you click on an article you can scroll through the text.
It doesn't work to make another layer in your Scrollable content and in your layer 1 and name them the same. Like I made the first scrollbar
You also can't make a second layer called Scrollable Content.... so I have no idea how to make a second scrollbar
