How to make selective fields of VD03 editable?

Hi all,
In VD03 transaction, if i press the Display -> Change option in Customer menu all the fields of the tabstrip sales, Billing Documents and Partner functions gets enabled, i.e ready for change. But I need to make only certain fields editable and the remaining fields need to be grayed out. How to achieve it?

I am not sure about the Business requirement why you need to change the Procurement type for ROH from Standard F.There is one more option to make the Procurement type field active in MRP-2 view by doing the cust setting in the material type.
IMG Path > Logistics - General > Material Master > Basic Settings > Material Types > Define Attributes of Material Types
Choose Material Type > ROH and Click on Details
In the next screen under Internal/External Purchase orders selection change the setting to Int. purchase orders as 1 from 0 and SAVE
Now create the material with ROH using MM01 > In the MRP-2 view the Procurement type field become active with Default value as X. Here we can change the P/ type as F manually

Hi Gurus,
I have created the WD leave applications which will trigger the BAPI(which returns half of the work structure allocated to the employee leave sickness)value will be freezed in the input UI element.
Right now am getting the above said value but UI element is in still editable mode.
My requirement is once we freezed the value UI element has to be non editable.
any useful clues will be higly appreciated with higher points...............

1.create a context attribute o type boolean and bind it to the ui elements enable property.
2.use the following code to set the enable to false.
3.wdContext.currentContextElement().setEnabled(false);

Financial Accounting-> A/P&A/R-> CustomerAccounts->MasterData->Preparatons for CreatingCustomerMasterData
use the transactions & u can update for creation of customer master or hange of customer master.

I want to make 3 fields in the ALV tree editable and update the saved values in ztable.
I tried making the wa_fieldcat-edit = 'X' But in vain.
Also i made the layout fields wa_layout-edit = 'X' and wa_layout-edit_mode = 'X'.
But still the alv tree field appears as display.
As you have mentioned in the post as answered, So please guide me to make the field editable.
I am using oops method.
Please provide me code if any.

Yes,it is possible to make that field as non-editable.
Follow the path:
SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Partner Determination>Set Up Partner Determination.
Select "Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header" if you want this to be done at the Header level partners.
Else if you want at the item level,select "Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Item".
Click on "Partner Determination Procedure Assignment".
Check what is the partner procedure assigned to your order type.
Click on "Partner Determination Procedures".
Select your procedure.
Click on "Partner Functions in Procedure".
Check the tick mark under "Not modifiable" under your "bill-to-party(BP)".
Save.

when this form is sent through worflow the receiver shudnt be able make changes to the field value...(I have a form, which has fields prefilled(like pernr employee name) but these fields are in editable able..(i want only some fields to be uneditable not all)

How to make a field Mandatory in a Table view?
The requirement is, the user should not be able to append a new Row, unless and untill he enteres the data in the column SOLD-TO. Now how do i acheive making this field madatory. Normally in Edit form view, we can go in customizing and flag Mandatory, for table view we don't have this option.
Please can anyone of you guide me in this approach?

Hi,
As a work around create a warehouse SelectWH and map the mandatory acoounts as a On hold account(in chart of accounts).So there will not be any posting on this account.
And set this warehouse as default warehouse for all users.
So without selecting the appropriate warehouse the user can not add the document.
I think this might resolve you issue.

We normally create a billing document with reference any other document say Order or delivery.
so, all the necessary information in the invoice will be taken from preceeding doucments. Thats way in the order level we check for incompletion log. If any important data is missing in the order level then the succeding documents will not be created.
Thats way in the billing documents all the necessary information will come automatically either from preceeding documents or from master data.
Still you want to make any field mandatory, you can do these by modifieing Billing documents user exists,you can make which ever the fields are mandatory and to be checked before saving. so when you are going to save the invoice, it will check if these fields are maintained or not.
