My phone says that I cannot backup to my cloud. How do I free up space so that I can do a back up or do I have to purchase more cloud storage space?

The problem is either that your icloud account is running out of space or your iphone is running out of memory. If the former, then you would need to buy more storage, if the latter, delete some files from the iphone, especiall photos and video, which can take a lot of space. If doing this, be sure to sync photos and video to a computer first. That's where they should be synced to on a regular basis.
Go to Settings>General>Usage.

How to make the Creative Cloud Uninstaller run silently ?

Hi all,
We created a deployment using Adobe Application Manager (AAMEE) in order to deploy Adobe Creative Cloud silently. That works fine. Now, when we uninstall the software, by running msiexec /x {productcode_of_the_msi_that_was_generated_using_AAMEE}, there's a log entry in the Event Viewer saying Removal success or error status: 0, which is good. However, there's one remaining entry in the "Programs and Features"-list in Windows 7 control panel: "Adobe Creative Cloud"
So I took a look in the registry and I found the uninstall string for that program: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Creative Cloud\Utils\Creative Cloud Uninstaller.exe". Problem: this uninstaller won't run silently! Or at least I didn't find any switches / command line parameters to make it run silently. Does anyone know how to make it run silently?
Question for Adobe in case there are no silent options for this uninstaller : can you explain me why you create tools (AAMEE) to generate silent installers but still leave traces on the computer that can't be uninstalled silently???
As an application packager I would also like to address this general message to all the big software making companies out there (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe etc.) : other big companies that buy your software, mostly want to install and uninstall it without user intervention. So please package it so that we don't need to spend extra time and money deciphering your fancy, exotic installers / uninstallers. MSI is quite a good standard you know...

If I understood correctly, you have created an installation package including creative cloud desktop app through creative cloud packager not AAMEE.
Adobe creative cloud doesn’t get uninstalled even if all the products and updates are removed from machine. But this will not cause any issues (or extra space) on installation of new package.
Its recommended that if the package is modified (adding more products or updates to existing package) and installed then it should be uninstalled via msi of modified package.

Space is not just taken up by emails. It includes all the "background" apps, bookmarks, messages, music, photos, ibooks and virtually anything is been accessed on your iPhone. Just like closets at home that get over filled and clothes we thought we were going to use your phone and your computer needs to be cleaned out more then once a year.
Here are a few measures that can be used to increase space and might I add battery power and usage proceessing speed to the lifetime of your phone/pad.
The most obvisious items: photos, books, documents, music can be streamline / transferred / exported to a hard drive.
The list below is maybe less thought of:
MULTITASKING: closing all the open apps.
To do this use the button below the screen known as home button with your index finger slide the apps upwards to close apps But make sure you keep the main screen app view open.
BOOKMARKS and READING LIST
Trim all the bookmarks and reading list that you no longer need by deleting it on your phone. If the bookmarks are important enough to keep then store them to your main computing system. You can even create a file and folder on your computer separate from your safari bookmarks by using a spreadsheet with the name of the site and url address.
SAFARI and all other WEB BROWSER COOKIES n DATA
Go to SETTINGS - SAFARI scroll down screen and clear cookies and data.
GPS & MAPS
delete all unnessary directions and locations.
CELLUAR DATA
Go to Settings - CELLUAR
LTE - enable
ROAMING - I prefer voice only so data pile up wont become an issue and only turn on data roaming if I need it.
BACKUPS
Backing up your phone/pad to a computer and a seperate hard drive using time machine saves space on your mobile device while adding an extra resource to recover and lost data.
Think about it if your mobile device is constantly storing old, long forgotten might need one day background stuff how can it have room to go forward and do the hard work you really need.

How to make space on Hard Drive for videos?

I recently tried to download the first season on "Lost" on my 60GB video iPod, but I ran into problems when trying to download these b/c of the space needed on my hard drive. Besides the obvious answer, "erase other files on your computer," is there anything else I can do to fix this?

Well, if you are running out of space on your hard drive, the only thing you can do to free up space is to erase something from your hard drive. So, no, there's nothing else you can do to fix this.
Find some stuff you don't need anymore, and either delete it for good or burn it to CD first. If you don't want to delete anything, invest in an external firewire hard drive (they're very cheap, and allow you to do a full backup of your system in addition to having extra storage space... You are backing up your computer, aren't you?).

I am on the road and need to make space to download pictures friom my camea

I am shooting RAW and jpeg and on this vacation trip I have taken a lot of pictures so I need to delete several to accommodate the new ones. This appears to be easier said than done. I have Camera roll pictures, Photo Stream pictures plus some Albums and other albums. How do I make space without performing a synch?

The bottom line is that you'll still have some copy of your photos on your hard drive but they can be smaller, optimized versions.

Since iTunes Match nor iCloud supports storing video content at this time (other than music videos purchased from the iTunes Store) what you want to do is not possible. There may be other cloud storage solutions out there, but none that integrate with iTunes.
FYI, if any of the movies are purchased from the iTunes Store the service Apple calls iTunes in the Cloud by be a partial solution for you. However it is strongly recommended that keep a local backup of all your purchased media and not depend solely on a third party (Apple) to keep your data safe.

Have removed everything I can to make space but still need another 1.2 GB. Is there any way I can delete it so I can delete the version I wanted, or even better change to the SD version? The film is still queuing in the downloads list. I've tried edit and delete but that doesn't work. I also can't re-download the film from iTunes.

Of course iTunes is looking for the music on the external HDD. Enabling iTunes Match does not magically change the location of the iTunes library to the cloud.
To play the music either plug the external HDD back into your computer or create a new, empty library to use for streaming the iTM content. The latter can be accomplished by holding down the Option key when launching iTunes, choosing "create library" then enabling iTunes Match on the new library. DO NOT have iTunes scan your HDD for music.

Your iPad is physically out of storage space. Purchasing space in iCloud dosen't magically give your actual iPad more physical storage space.
