How to make telephone calls ring just once?

In my "meeting" profile I would like to set up audio for telephone calls just like in message notifications. But when I chose a notification audio, the notification will be repeated forever until I accept or decline the call. The same for vibration: I would prefer one vibration. Can someon help? Thank you!

So which tone is used by calendar alarm that I should change? I see ringing tone, video call tone, message alert tone, email alert, keyboard tone.
Actually I never let my cell phone ring, so I already set the ringing type as "silent".

This is just a suggestion.
If you put your "JTable" in a "JScrollPane", then you can add any "java.awt.Component" to the corner of the "JScrollPane" -- using the "setCorner()" method (of "JScrollPane").
I would suggest making a custon "JPanel" and overriding its "paintComponent()" method to draw a diagonal line (and the required text) on it.

How to make a call to service from site studio templates?

May be this is very basic but I am not able to figure out how to make a call to a service from site studio templates (hcsp). I have seen one example of service call in the dynamic list fragment. It makes a call to SS_GET_SEARCH_RESULTS service using executeService() method. But it doesn't take any parameters and also not very how returned results are captured.
I want to execute WCM_PLACEHOLDER service. It takes 2 main parameters dataFileDocName and templateDocName. The returned result is typically a html response.
The service typically is executed using http request and the url would be something like this
http://hd-pratapm/ucm/idcplg?IdcService=WCM_PLACEHOLDER&dataFileDocName=VIRTUSAINC&templateDocName=DETAILS_REGION_TEMPLATE
I think SS_GET_SEARCH_RESULTS service works in the similar fashion. I want to execute WCM_PLACEHOLDER service too using executeService() method. How to work with this? How can we pass parameters and capture returned results?

Hey Pratap,
If you are on a standard Site Studio template (page or subtemplate) you should be able to call the wcmPlaceholder idoc function directly. In fact calling the idoc function provides a lot more functionality then the service call (they locked down a few things in the service call since it is designed to be called from an external application).
The idoc call would look something like:  (taken from page 208 in this doc: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10316_01/SiteStudio/10gr4/Pdf/Site_Studio_10gR4_Designer_Guide.pdf)
As a general note when you are in idoc script and want to execute a service you call <$executeService()$> as you saw in the dynamic list. The parameters that the service runs on are in the data binder of the current request. To set parameters for an execute service you simply set idoc variables on the page before it. Example:


As for the response when you execute an idoc function, like wcmPlaceholder, that returns a String the response is immediately output to the page in the location you called the function. This would be similar in concept to a jsp scriptlet that outputs a string <%=myResponseString%>

How to make CSD call in NOKIA E71

Hello,
I bought two Nokia E71 mobiles with BSNL 3G connection. My service provider(BSNL) providing 3G service. E71 is connected to PC there i dialed to another phone which is conneted to other PC. when i dialed from hyperterminal in winxp by using ATD commnad with out semicolon. I am getting connection error messge on my phone. NO CARRIER on hyper terminal.
I don't know what the problem is i tried with all commands no use. Is there any setting required for NOKIA E71. How to make data call (CSD call) by using Nokia E71.

this may or may not be of help.
I was having a similar problem with a 6230i.
When trying to make a data call the No Carrier signal would come back.
After some research I changed +cbst form 0,0,1 to 7,0,1
at+cbst=7
This apparently gives the receiving modem more time to connect. It sends the no carrier signal 30 seconds later after appearing to connect, I still dont get the connect 9600 response.

Although I don't own all of the iDevices, I do know from experience that my iPod Touch (2nd gen up) and the iPads + iPhones can indeed make VOIP calls from various services. The harder part is finding a way to listen and talk conveniently and understanding your VoIP service capabilities.

The VoIP software - presumably something you already use today on a computer and have an account/telephone number for.
Skype
Google Talk
magicJack
etc.
The choices depend a lot on who you primarily talk with and what they use (conventional telephone, Skype, etc)
I prefer a full fledged SIP (VOIP) clients like iSIP or my personal favourite the Bria VoIP phone software with a VOIP telephone number from a standalone VoIP provider like voip.ms but that may be too complicated a setup for some. It does provide the best telephone experience however. I'm not sure which players are strong in the UK.
Some of these only work when you have a a WiFi connection but I regularly use the Bria phone on my iPad while driving (3G and LTE both work fine).

The audio connection - the easiest is a combined headset/microphone like the simple Apple earpiece or other third party ones that have both ear and microphone in a single plug (you can tell which is which because there are 3 rings/4 gold contacts on the plug). Ask around - many iPhone users have these included in the box and never use them, preferring more expensive after market models).
Another more sophisticated way is to use a bluetooth headset of any kind. These can be very comfortable and work well, but are not as easy as simply plugging in a headpiece. Batteries need charging and the bluetooth connection can be finicky sometimes.
A third option around the home is to use one of the newer telephone sets that has bluetooth connectivity to the ipad/iphone - this is elegant but also more complicated than you would probably enjoy unless you're handy with the technology.
I'd recommend you have someone familiar with the Apple world who's a bit techie, can help you think through your requirements around calling patterns and volumes and clearly understands that you likely prefer ease of use over saving a few pence.

PAP-2T, make incoming calls ring in both phones/Lines?

I have a PAP-2T. On this device I have connected two different phones, one connected to Line 1 and the other to Line 2. I have one SIP account with my provider. My provider has configured my account so that I can make two concurrent outgoing calls. My Lines are configured as the following;
Line 1:

Now, when I receive an incoming call, the phone connected to Line 1 rings. If I configure Line 2 like this,, Ans Call Without Reg: Yes,, the phone on Line 2 rings but not the one on Line 1.
My question is,, can I make both phones ring when I receive an incoming call?
If so, how do I configure the ATA to make that happen?

Cat2k1 what kind of probs do you hve with your phones ?
- assume it's a DECT phone, try to change the ring voltage to 75V and ring waveform to trapezoid - this works better with problematic DECT phones
- assume you're having an old analog phones, make sure the PAP2T's Line1 socket is only connected via 2wire interconnect cable (4wire cable on Line1 plus certain analog phones is a trouble-maker)
- assume you use multiple analog phones on one line, you may consider increase the FXS power from 3 to let's say 5
- assume you're having an old analog phone, it's ability to ring (if all the SIP comm works OK) is also affected by the FXS port impedance which must (shall) fit the phone's one.

On the other hand, shall you have problems with SIP communication between PAP2T an SIP operator, you shall enable NAT traversal and NAT keeplalive for the first on PAP2T settings

How can I make a call from a number on a Web page ?
If I select the number, I can only copy it ... then I cannot cut and paste into the phone dialing section ???
I thought that by selecting the number on the Web page and holding it this would trigger the dialing ... like I used to do with my 9900 Bold BB.

Are you holding the number or just pressing it quickly? Holding anything will produce a menu whose options would include cut & paste but just pressing the number should activate an action, in this case dialing the number.
Try just pressing the number with a normal press and not holding it and post back with your results.

Once you are administrator or overseer or owner of process that you want to monitor, you can use Guided Procedures Runtime Workcenter (Runtime WC role) which will provide you information (process title, start date, due date, description and progress) about running processes, completed processes, terminated process and erroneous processes.
Another way to reach this information is through Maintain Process menu in GP Administration (GP Administrator role) that will provide you another administration tasks like change authorization, terminate instances, complete step or delete instances.
Unfortunately GP doesnu2019t provide other UIs or Reports. You may use GP APIs to develop your custom report. As soon as I have time I will publish a blog with a custom report that I developed and it may be helpful to you.
