How to make the active save-to-file with the data from GPIB ?

Hello,,everybody !!
I want to make the active save-to-file with the data from GPIB since starting the measurement. To save-to-file at the end of measurment is somehow risky for losing the data because my measurment have to take for long time (eg. 24-48 hours).

I have already append, I got it but still have one small problem that between each line it has the blank line. Example as below ,

I want to get rid of the blank line in between.. Do you have the idea about it ?

How do I create an interactive PDF file with variable data

We would like to basically do a 'mail merge' of our list of customers with an interactive PDF file (including videos, menus, etc - not just form fill out and web links) to create a single PDF file that contains multiple mail pieces ... one for each customer ... with each mail piece being customized for that customer. Customizations would include different greetings (Dear Bob, Dear Dana, etc), as well as different charts based on data unique to the customer, different photographs, etc.
I've seen that InDesign and Acrobat Professional can be used to create an interactive PDF (such as from http://tv.adobe.com/watch/ask-the-adobe-ones/14-calling-rufus-about-interactive-pdf-making). However I don't understand how I can insert data from a database, csv file, excel file etc into the PDF file so that each page, or each set of pages, within the PDF can be customized.
Can anyone point me to a tool to use for this?

For that kind of volume and unattended operation, you want InDesign Server – which is the server/high volume edition of INDD.

How do I make Applescript to compress 2 filez with the same name?

Hello guys and thank you for reading this!
I don't know a lot about programming, but i believe applescript can save my life. What I need is.
Detecting 2 files with the same name, but differnt extension. (song 1.jpg, song 1.mp3)
Compressing those 2 files into a single .zip (In the end I would have song 1.jpg, song 1.mp3 and song 1.zip
And that's it! I know its pretty simple, and I've seen the "Create Archive" in automator, but I don't really know how to tell him which files to Compress.

if an archive already exists with the same name (in the parent folder of the files to compress) , the ZIP command overwrite this ".zip" file.
Example with "song 1.jpg", "song 1.mp3" and "song 1.zip" :
If "song 1.zip" doesn't exist, the ZIP command create the "song 1.zip" file.
If "song 1.zip" exist, the ZIP command overwrite the "song 1.zip" file (it will not create a new archive).

How to export all tracks into audio files with the same duration

Hi everybody.
I am trying to export all the tracks into different audio files.
It's 10 soft. instruments and an audio track. I tried with "File>Export>All Tracks as Audio File but the result is 11 audio files with different lengths. As the song is 3 minutes and 20 seconds I would like every single track to be 3.22 sec long.
How do I do it? In fact, each track is composed not only by played instruments but also by moments of silence.

When I use the command File > Export > All Tracks as Audio Files, Logic will produce four files that look like this:
The files are not equal in length, which is perfectly fine. What's important is that they all start at bar 1, and will align properly when imported into some other program. So all you need is the command you already used: File > Export > All Tracks as Audio Files. In one step, it will produce all the files you need, and it will produce them correctly.
By using Bounce, you would be gaining nothing except extra work, because you would have to do it separately for each file you wanted to produce. With Export > All Tracks as Audio Files, you get all your files with just one command.

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by Adobe update.
Adobe Reader (free) cannot set security, never could.
Adobe Acrobat ($$) can do so.

How to make CC stop creating folders automaticaly with the assets

I don't want the system to create a new folder with the assets when I choose to export an asset!
I want to download them automatically. This "assets folder system" is creating a mess with the organization of my files.

PPro CC saves all files with the Au icon???

hi, since a couple of weeks i have the following issue: when i save a project in PPro CC, the file always gets the extension .prproj but with the Audition icon (Au), not the Premiere icon (Pr). problem is that when i attach this sort of files to a mail (or send it via we transfer), the other cannot open it. it'a a new issue, before it was working ok. does anybody understand what's happening? thank you.

the icon showing Audition even though its a .prproj file may be a separate issue from the other person not being able to open it. are both computers using the same version of premiere pro? if its a simple edit you can try exporting an xml as a work around.
if you are in windows, and its a problem with file type associations then right click the file and choose "open with". then tell it to always use premiere pro for .prproj
if you don't see open with, try holding shift while right clicking the file. this will only change the icons and behavior when double clicking a file to open it on your computer. it may not fix anything for the other person, to open your file.

Suppose you have a symbol instance named 'mysound_track' inside your stage.
After embedding the OAM in Muse, you can try the following snippet on scroll event

Using the server to share files with the clients

Hello everybody!
I finally managed to install properly iFolder on a server, and the client on a few computers. Unfortunately, I was suprised to see there is no functionality to upload from the server to the ifolders structure.
I need to achieve this because the server I used is also used as a datacenter; I hoping to make the data available to each user directly on their own desktop using the mechanism integrated in the iFolder framework.
Obviously, I would like to avoid copying back with ssh or ftp the files to one local client, and forth to the server using iFolder.
The simplest thing would be to install a client on the server machine as well. Unfortunately, the folder monitoring function only works for graphical client, and my server does not have X installed.
So my last resort would be to connect by ssh to the server machine, then start a non graphical web browser, connect to https://localhost/ifolder/ and share each file one by one... Really time consuming and annoying!
Does someone have any suggestion?

AFAIK if you create a common directory on the server, then use the web
admin interface to create a shared resource, then add the users.

Now, I don't know whether it is because I could not explain well my problem, or just because I can not understand your answer, but don't see what you're exactly suggesting me to do....
1) create a common directory: Do you mean I physically create a directory (mkdir /pathtodata/)? Or I create an new folder in ifolder using the web interface?
2) What is as "shared ressource"? I cannot find any reference to this term in the user manual. Do you just mean I share the ifolder I created in the previous step?
3) Add the users: I imagine this is the step where I share the ressource with the user.
Again, I am really sorry if my hesitations are stupid and the answer is obvious, but I read all the documentation and I cannot figure out the answer.

let us say you want to copy the data of a cube in system A to a cube in system B .
1) create a RFC function module in system B (in this function module call the function module RSDRI_CUBE_WRITE_PACKAGE to update the data), this RFC function module should have same parametersa as RSDRI_CUBE_WRITE_PACKAGE .
2) write a program in system A .. read the data from the infocube using the function module RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ and call the RFC function module in system B that you have created..
for the details of the parameters to pass to these two function modules use the RSDRT_INFOCUBE_DATA_COPY and get the required code
