how to make the date entered to be dd-mon-rrrr format.....
the date should be entered only in this format...or esle it should not accept the date
how to do this with form personalization.....

1) Instead of personalization, set ICX: Date format mask profile appropriately using sysadmin responsibility at the appropriate level.
2) If you have to use this new format just for one form, then use personalization to set the profile option in the when-new-form-instance. But unsetting it will be a problem.
I recommend option 1 above.

How to make the date disappear on the blog summary page?

Hi,
I have read thru the message on this forum and can't seem to figure out how to hide or make the date disappear on the blog summary page. I can do it on the blog entry pages by turning the color opacity to 0.

How to make the date format in ipod the same as in itunes?

When I look at my podcasts in itunes, the dates come up as dd/mm/yyyy (which is correct), however, when I look at my podcasts on the ipod, the date comes up as mm/dd, which is very confusing.

How to make the 'date' disappear on the 'blog' entries?

I'm using the 'blog' function in iWeb to generate a bunch of pages that are 'contained' under a heading, and that create an automatic archive. But is not a 'blog'. Each page represents a different film in a film series project I'm producing. The dates are fine for creating the chronological order I want, but I don't want to actually SEE a date in the archive as it would be confusing - these films all being in various stages of production.
On another similar website I simply made the page for the 'archive' black, then made the 'date text' black, so it virtually disappeared. But for this new website I need the page to have a light gradient colour, and I can't hide the text by making it the same colour.
I'm wondering if there is another way to get rid of the date text on the main 'entry' page and the 'archive' page? (Without having to rewrite the default code of course...)

you can turn off date display in archive page by:
1) post edit archive.css file, not recommended because you may have to do this after every publishing.
2) dynamically change archive css with javascript. you can get javascript code at my site:

all the above methods may mess up display format in blog summary and blog archive page without further code.

opacity for date display is not available in blog summary nor blog archive page. date display in those two pages are rendered by javascript.

How to record the data against time?

Hi there,
I am doing a real-time measurement, and i get a 1-D dataflow from the loading cell without time stamp. I know how to record it and save it to a file. However, how to store the data against time? I know I can use "get date time in seconds.vi" to obtain the system time, but how to integrate it with the dataflow from the loading cell? it would be best if I can view the dataflow changing with respect to the system time in a waveform chat.

You are doing a measurement with what? NI DAQ card or something else? The chart and saving to file are two different things. For an example of displaying time in a chart, look at the example called Real-Time Chart. How exactly do you want the time/measurement data written to file?

Hi Rajeswari,
You can modify message number KS096 to "Error" via OBA5. Thus, the users would no be able to save a cost center without entering a profit center. (Depending on your release you can make KS096 modifiable by implementing note 486781.)
Concerning the internal orders (transaction KO01), you can run KOT2 and set Profit center field as required entry in "change field selection" section.

Instead of doing it on the same button better create a separate button for this functionality, As per my understanding you want to clear these fields to create new record so that you can enter a new record so for this you just need to insert a new row in VO.
Still if you want to do it on the same button then you need to put the check that particular record is not dirty if it is not then create new record else create new record.
One more thing if you will clear on the second click of a button how will you update your record??

As long as the registration page is within the same session, the values will remain in the session until they are specifically cleared out. This can be done by a process on a page - so check if you have a "reset page" process on P1 and, if you do, delete it. This can also be done on a branch - so check the branch that takes you to P2 and see if there is anything entered in the Clear Cache setting and, if it shows *1*, remove that. There are other ways as well, but these are most typical.

Queues are only good to transfer data if your application isn't deterministic. Since you are using Real Time, I am assuming that your application requires determinism. If you are using Timed Loops and you use queues to transfer data between your loops, you are losing determinism. In this case, you need to use the RT FIFO functions.
