How to make the Results row a toggle when the user wants/does not want see
The user wants to toggle between seeing/not seeing the Results row at the bottom of each row. How to make it like a toggle checkbox/selection on the screen so that the user can decide on seeing/not seeing it in the report. If not possible to do such a thing, then how do I totally prevent it from showing in the report. Version is 3.5 BW.

For each characteristics in the query designer, right-click and go to properties....
then in the 'Display of Results' section in the 'Suppress Result Rows' option, select: "Always".
This will suppress the result rows.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

The iPhone is not a backup device. Your computer backs up the iPhone, not the other way around. What you use to back up your computer is up to you - Macs use Time Machine. I assume PCs use something similar.
If her PC backup is dead you will have difficulty extracting content from the iPhone since it is not designed to work that way.
All her Apple purchases can easily be transferred to another iPhone. However, her contacts will be gone, as will any music or other contact obtained from sources other than Apple.
There are a number of third party utilities that claim to be able to extract content from an iPhone. See wjosten's procedure here:

I don't believe there is a way to handle this currently within App-V...Other virtualization products do have the ability to exclude processes and force to run outside or the bubble or exclude them from terminating on shutdown.

How to avoid using a primary key ? i mean I don't want to create a primary key if is is possible.

ChristianI believe the key is choosing 'Interactive' as opposed to 'Classic' in the implementation and then you can choose 'Existing Trigger' for the primary key source and it should work to use an existing column as your proimary key.

All of a sudden when printing from my desktop Mac in IPhoto the printout comes out black. My colors are fine on my HP color laser printer. I have printed many times and now all of a sudden it is not printing. A test copy from my printer comes out fine. I really think for some reason something has changed just in the last few days. Just communication with IPhoto and the computer.
As long as your cartriges are full, put a photo on you desktop, highlight it , click COMMAND P and the print preferences window should drop down, and select your printer and photo paper.

Could you please provide some more information.
if you have characteristics iobject whose values are (A, B etc) and calendar month in rows and then at column level you have key figures then if you have turn on the "Display Result Rows" property of both iobject in Bex as "Always" you can get the result. At the same time you can set "Display Overall result" property of the Query to get overall result.

How to hide the all rows except the result row in a report?
Hi Experts,
We have a report in which the user is interested to see only the result rows and I need to HIDE the characteristics in the rows. I was successfull in doing the same for Key figures in columns using "Calculate single value as suppress result". But I am not finding a way out to hide the characteristics in the rows.
If I move the characteristics in rows to Free characteristics, the result row is not getting dispalyed. Also, the characteristics are used dynamically by the formulae in columns and hence i cant remove these characteristics from the query. . The user wants the query to contain only one characteristic in the row and the result row for the key figures in columns. The report currently displays Invoice level data for each customer and this needs to be eliminated and it should display the summarised data for every customer. Please suggest how this can be accomplished

KavithaMoving the char to free char will show the equivalent of result.
Your issue likely is that this breaks the calculations since you do want the calculations done at detail level.
To achieve this, move your char to free char (say it is 0CUSTOMER).
For the CKF/Formula, go to aggregation tab, set the exception aggregation as Total (or whatever it was in standard behavior) and specify reference characteristic (in this case 0CUSTOMER), also check the 'Before aggregation' if you have that checkbox there.
This will ensure the calculation is done at detail level even though the char is not included in the rows.
If you have multiple chars to be moved to free char but included in detailed calculation, you will need to build cascading CKFs (CKF1 with ref char1, CKF2 eq to CKF1 with exception aggr on ref char2...and so on).
Added:
I understand you do want 0CUSTOMER in there, but something else (let us say 0DOCNO) removed. Use 0DOCNO in place of 0CUSTOMER in the case described above.

I use some sofisticated customizing with server-side validation of the form data. I want to redirect to the page of the portlet "show" mode and to the "edit" mode depending on the validation results. How can I do it?Heay.....this worked for me.
I am able to change the mode programatically from edit to show.

I removed Apply , OK and Cancel buttons and applied my own Submit and Back button in Personalize mode and then change the mode to show on click of Back button using the above mentioned statement.

I have a query where I am trying to restrict the query by the results row. For example:

In this case I would only like to see the first set because the result is greater than 1. How can I accomplish this? Thanks.

MAy be u can do this in the update rule i.e instead of KF use as Char and just concatinate figures.
and in the report u can do some manupiation to show results .

Numbers on iMac under Maverick.
For each sheet in a spreadsheet (Numbers file) I have provided a corresponding sheet (to replace it). In the new sheet I want to insert a formula referencing the corresponding cell in the original sheet. I want to be able to delete the original sheet without losing the result in the new sheet. The link has to be broken.
If the formula referencing the cells in the original sheet returns the resultant data in place of the formula, this will enable me to use this method to work through a largish file (and others like it) with comparative ease. In Excel this would be done, for example, by using Paste Value only (an option in Paste Special). In Numbers, I think it can be done for an entire row by using Insert>Copied Rows (and likewise for a whole column), by choosing Values as opposed to formulas (because that action generates new rows and columns and doesn't overwrite existing data).
Is it something to do with generating a more complex formula, or pasting a style using the Format menu? Or the Edit>Paste and Match Style?
It's eluding me.Thank you, Ian. That sub-menu is what eluded me all right. It certainly seems to me to be one way I can do this: using the Paste Formula Results sub-menu under Edit. But before I copy the cells as you say, I will have to take several prior steps.
In the new sheet I have to select the top left cell of the subject range and there enter "=". Then, in the original sheet, I must select the corresponding cell. Returning immediately to the new sheet, I need to drag the cell right to extend the formula to two adjoining two cells. Now I need to drag those three cells to extend the formula to the bottom of my table (quite a number of rows, but the number matches that of the original sheet). Only at this point am I in a position to apply your suggested method: that is, copy what's already selected and use Shift-Command-V to paste the formula's result throughout the range.
I feel sure that will do it. But if anyone has any further suggestion as to how this could be done less cumbersomely, I would be very happy to hear it before I embark on the task ahead - because that will have to be repeated for another 24 new sheets in a couple of files. Quite a lot of work.
So, whilst you've helped me materially, a question still remains as to whether some other method might be possible?

How to make use of adjacent data elements within the same buffer

Does anyone know how to make use of adjacent data elements within the same buffer? To make my question clearly, I would like to give you an example. In my application, I set "sample to read" as 10 which means at each loop 10 data samples will be taken into a buffer. Now, what I would like to do is to do some calculations on adjacent data samples in same buffer. I tried to use "shift register" for this, but it seemed to me that it only can deal with the calculation between data from adjacent loops. In other words, it skips 9 data elements and take the 10th one for the calculation.
Here I also attach my VI showing what I did.

I hope you'll forgive me for distilling your code - mainly to understand it better. I tried to duplicate your logic exactly - which required reversing the "derivatives"-array before concatination with the current samples array. As in your code, the last velocity is being paired with the first position. If first velocity is really supposed to be paired with first position, just remove the "Reverse 1D Array" node.
