Hi Gurus,
I have my own system installed with BW 3.5. Now I want to work with WAD Reports.
Can any one please let me know that what are the configurations I have to do to work with the WAD.

Hi Peter,
If you have got WAD installed in your System. First declare default web templates in SPRO->BW-->BEx Web.
After this activate the services in the SICF>Execute>Default host->drilldown to Bw then right click on BW and deactivate services then activate it again.

Create a policy in your fire wall to allow the port to send and receive data.
I believe the port for the mobile should be port 8080 and 8443.

An Idea: How to make the Magic Timeline work with Tracks

i have thought about this for a title and i think i have found a solution. the magic timeline is pretty cool but with it we lost tracks. for broadcast (not only for that but mostly for it) you need tracks that are assignt in a special way and there is no way around it. so i came up with the following idea…
to make the magic timeline work with tracks it will be a like an audio compound clip, that will give you full access to the magic time. but it can be outputted to proper tracks assignment.
current audio compound clips don't show you the video if there is one. this one will. also audio can be tagged to a track so it will automatically drop into the right track. you can of course move the audio from one track to another. moving the clip to another track will auto change the tag to new track. if you copy an audio clip from one track to another, the original clip will keep its tag but the copied one gets the new tag.
example…
you do a voice over with all your edits and stuff. then you collapse it to a track (new name to get rid of any sort of confusion). you can tag/name the track to "voice over" or whatever you want and color label it.
you need to edit, adjust it? no problem! double click it and it will open up and you'll see the magic timeline. edit till you done and click on arrow to return to track view.
export your movie with proper tracks for broadcast right out of final cut pro x
in the end your output timeline looks like a timeline from fcp7 before you output it on tape.
could this work? i believe it could and it would help to make fcpx ready for broadcast.
i hope this makes some sort of sense to you

How to make "visa find resource" working with Agilent device

I am trying to use Agilent 82357B GPIB device with LabVIEW for instrument control.
I have checked:
1.       NI-VISA (ver 5.1.1) is the primary visa by checking visa.dll properties under windows\system32 folder
2.       Enable NIVISATulip.dll in NI Max Explorer
3.       Enable the Agilent libraries to work with NI 488.2 in Agilent IO library (ver 16).
I am able to communicate with the instrument in Max Explorer and talk to the instrument in LabVIEW with VISA write for almost all commands.
But I can NOT make one particular visa function (Visa find resource) working with Agilent 82357B GPIB.
With NI USB GPIB device, the same code above can find attached instruments as below, where GPIB1 is the Agilent device and GPIB0 is the NI device.
I have no clue on how to make “visa find resource” working with Agilent device.

How can I make the FN buttons work with an older notebook?

I have the Satellite 5200-902 notebook. Unfortunately there is no support for such an "old" notebook like this concerning Windows Vista. Vista runs great on it but the only thing I didn´t make is to make to FN buttons work in Vista.
Can someone please give me an advice ?

Unfortunately I do not believe you will have success with those buttons. The fact is that Toshiba use self designed utility for functionality of all FN buttons. As you know, old notebook models are not vista supported and you will not be able to find and install any utility for that.
Sorry but there is nothing to do.

How to make the ATP math work - receipts vs requirements

I have a 'qaundry'.   How can we make receipts match requirments when we use ATP [actually GATP - from ECC to SCM]. This to me to be a simple match problem that SAP has not provided any config. Even opening a message with them has not been helpful and I am opening this message, as per their suggestion, on this forum. Maybe someone out there has encountered this similar situation and can advise on how to handle this as a process + customisation, perhaps ?
We have two distinct processes that are primarily ATP based. [We use GATP / APO]
Process # 1
We use the Check Control : ATP Group - CH
                                              Business event - ZA - for sales orders
In scope of check we consider the following 'receipts'
             Unrestricted Stock
            Blocked / Restricted stock
under "Requirements"we have
Sales Order - for restricted + Blocked stock
deliveries -     for restricted + Blocked stock
The match works fine in this scenario.
In Process # 2 - which is predominantly used,
We use the Check Control :   ATP Group - CH
                                              Business event - A - for Orders
we use the following "receipts"
         Unrestricted Use only [NO Blocked stk etc]
For requirements
       sales orders - unrestricted stock only - this is what we need.
       deliveries - unrestricted stock only - this is what we need.
But because there is no subdivision available as with receipts - by default we also get the requiremenmts from sales orders + delivery line items with restricted / blocked stock .   This makes the match go haywire.
So in process # 2 because we do not consider the receipts for blocked stocks, the requirements from the blocked stock lines creates artificial shortages and we have issues where sales orders do not confirm. The scope of check considers only unrestricted stock but the requirements from restricted stock come in and deflate the ATP stock
Is there a standard way we can net out the blocked / restricted stock related sales orders and deliveries requirement lines from the Check control that does NOT consider blocked receipts ?
Any help, suggestions, guidance in this would be greatly appreciated.

The business scenario is as follows :
We have separate sales order document type where we want to process restricted / blocked stock only.   We use batch management - so while creating the sales order, we manually assign / enter the batch # in blocked stock status - to the line item.   (I use the "blocked /restricted" stock - to mean the same thing,as opposed to "unrestricted" stock.)
Scope of check
Receipts -   restricted / blocked (50)   + unrestricted stock   (75) = 125
Requirements - restricted / blocked (50) + unrestricted stock (75) = 125
We use a userexit to flip the 'A' to a 'ZA' when this order type is used.   ATP check is okay - as we want to look at the blocked/ restricted stock as well, in addition to the normal unrestricted stock. Math is okay here.
This order type and then its deliveries generate the requirement as expected - the same batch #s / stock we assigned manually. This requirement is under a broad bucket of 'requirement' and does not differentiate whether its restricted or unrestricted.   You will notice that unlike 'requirements',   receipts can be clearly subdivided.
However when we use the standard orders - we want to stick to just unrestricted stock.   The 'A' stays as is - and we look at receipts ONLY in unrestricted stock.    However, the requirements from the blocked stock sales orders and then its deliveries get pulled in - under the broad requirement of - Requirements.
Under this process - Scope of check
Receipts -   restricted / blocked (0)   + unrestricted stock   (75) = 75
Requirements - restricted / blocked (50) + unrestricted stock (75) = 125
Receipts < Requirements by 50 - so we have a shortage.
Basically what we need to do for the second scenario is to filter out the requirements for blocked / restricted stock.

I have installed the printer using 'System Preferences' on my i-Mac and it appears on the list of available printers but documents that I create just don't print.

Looking at the Konica web site for the PagePro 1300W, I saw the following note.
Please note: This printer is designed to be used in computer operating systems running MS Windows only. Operating systems such as UNIX, Macintosh, or Linux are not supported nor do we have workaround drivers available. Older MS Windows versions, such as Windows 3.1/95/98[pre-SE] and NT 3.51/4.0, are not supported.
So KM are not going to help you. But the LinuxFoundation does provide a workaround that should allow you to print. Have a look at this web page. You will need to install all three packages as per the instructions from that page.

How to make iTunes 64 bit work with iPad Air in win 8.1 64 bit?

I have purchased - or updated - my iPad to Air and recently noticed that my windows (8.1 pro) environment iTunes refuses to work with iPad by telling me that I need 64 bit version of the software. My environment is genuine Core i5 system with windows 8.1 pro 64 bit and iTunes is installed as instructed. I have removed all Apple components and reinstalled, but no success. One odd detail is that every time when Apple updater informs me that there is new iTunes available and I choose install option, installation fails and I have to remove manually all Apple components and then install iTunes. Installation seems to go fine, but during installation there is a phase when I can briefly see that system is rollbacking something - could this be vital? Like loosing something that makes system to refuse to install required things that make things work as they should? Like: are there known hw/sw issues that make installation process change installation from 64 bit to 32 bit during installation?

Apple iPad appears to be under "Portable Devices" section and driver is from Microsoft. There is no driver under USB-section and instructions that provided in first reply I have gone thru and they are no go with this problem - they are more likely for older iPod etc devices and dot with issue to deal with 64bit/32bit things. The picture (image.jpg) gives me unfortunately just general error...

How to make an Event Structure work with a webcam feed?

Hello,
I'm pretty new to LabVIEW, and I really need some help on a school project.
In the program, a webcam contantly streams video. At the same time, I am trying to add an event structure inside of the while loop that contains the webcam information. An event structure seems to be just the thing I need to add to make my program work, but after adding it, the webcam stopped showing its feed. My guess is that it's specifically not working with the webcam part, because I've used event structure inside of while loops before. How can I prevent the event structure from interfering with the webcam?
I cannot take a screenshot of the back panel at this time, although I can do it within the next 24 hours, if necessary. Otherwise, I can try to describe the program to the best of my ability.

I don't understand how to use the System Font Panel with iMovie.

I need an explanation of how the System Font Panel works. I guess there's a way to get some of those fonts to the iMovie Font Panel, but I can't see how.

I have had good success with the System Font Panel. Now all of a sudden, I only get part of it. Any suggestions on how to restore the entire panel? There are no change size options in the corners like in some dialog boxes. I was going to paste what I have here, but for some reason, paste is not available.

have been following the developers guide to write an access gate. my application(simple html) is running on JBoss, want to protect this resouce using the access gate. JAccessGate.java is working fine however the access gate is not intercepting the resource request.
how do i configure Jboss with the Access Server so that the Access Gate process the request.
the servlet example isn't working ... constants.REQUEST isn't being recognised despite adding all the pkg's.
it would be helpful if someone could share the steps to achieve this.
that apart any idea about how the reverse proxy works ?

Couple of options. You seem have to taken the Access Gate based approach. I will throw this in any way and you can make a call which one you want to use.
If its a web application you can control authorization based on Resource by defining policy in the Access Manager.
You mentioned aout display of one area in one page. That should be driven off of User attribute or custom logic. If it is driven off of User attribute then you can return header variable and you can check in the code as opposed to writing custom access gate.
Now if you do want to write custom access gate when the resource is already protected by a Web gate,
you can get the ObSSOCookie from the users browser session.
You can pass the URL to the IsAuthorized method and call.
Now here you have to install the Access Server SDK on the server, create custom access gate and then write the code and deploy it on that server.
