The older I get the smaller the text on the screen becomes. How can I view Mail in a larger format similar to what I'm able to do in say Safari for instance?

Your suggestion was quite useful although the page following the mouse is a bit vertigo-inducing. If there is no other way then I think I should make a suggestion to Apple to give Mail that same functionality available in Safari 4.

Download a piece of software called TinkerTool - that might just solve your problem. I have used it myself to change the system fonts on my iMac. It is software and not an app.

It sounds like you'd be fine if you just separated the print function from your "Yes" button. It will require a 2nd button click from the user but that would be the only inconvenience.

Hello, it depends what App & Document type, some say PDFs have the font stuck at a certain sise, but say in Text Edit, open a document, Highlight some text the CMD+a to Select All, then type CMD+t to get the Font/Text size menu, select a bigger size.

Ie for example if i am creating and ERSA Material, i want to make the source list option mandatory by default whenever i create an ERSA Material. I know the option to make the Source List mandatory at Plant Level.
But i want to make source list mandatory at material. By default..it has to appear mandatory on the Material. I want to do this
specially based on Material Type. Ie i want this to be mandatory only for specific material types i chose.

Hello everybody. I am a web designer (NOT a developer)
I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.
I have used phpform.org/ to custom build a submission form. Then I opened that html in dreamweaver (so that I could edit colors, fonts, and delete the phpform.org advetisement)
Now I need to link the 'submit button' so that it will e-mail me the completed form.
(formphp.org wants me to subscribe to a servie that I pay for in order to have the form e-mailed to myself.)
(after I get the submit button linked to an e-mail I will pull the html of my completed form into Muse- but I don't think that is really relevent)
I'm sure one of you can help point me in the right direction! I can't write my own code so detailed help is appreciated!

I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder. Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
     <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
I'm assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code. Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names. It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

Could anybody please enlighten me on how to make the APEX tree in the "Expand All" shape by default please? I created an APEX tree and by default it's in the "Collapse All" shape. I am using APEX 4.1.0.00.21

you can check the view source of html and check the onclick code written on that plus sign(Expand All), just copy that onclick javascript code and put it on page javascript event.

How to make Hierarchy view fixed in marketing plan .

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to make the Hierarchy view as fixed ie To remove the toggel functionality .
Component MPL_MAIN .
for which
I removed the toggel button and make the view visible all the times .
I have removed the button by commenting the code .
but I am not sure how can I make the view always visible ?
I can understand that i have to use the same code as the toggel event 'ONTOGGLEHIERARCHY'is using ,
but where should I be putting that code so that it takes the Hierarchy view at the time of initial loading .

you can try putting this into the "DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT" Method of the Overview-View.

How to set the view privilege of a portlet?

Dear all,
I would like to ask how to set the view privilege of a portlet (which is located on the Intranet homepage) to only a group of users?
As far as I know, I can create a tab with view privilege to address the about scenario. But is it possible to directly set the view privilege to the portlet ?

OK, you got me there George. I don't know where you can set view rights to an out of box portlet. So how about a different approach?
1) Create a blank page with no nav bar or anything else
2) Assign the group you want to see the notifications portlet view rights on the page
3) Make sure the show as portlet check box is checked on the Optional tab in the page properties
4) Add the notifications portlet to the page
5) Ensure the portlet settings are how you desire in terms of what notifications to show and the region settings are how they should be in terms of border, headers, etc
6) Edit the page where you want the notifications portlet to be shown and add the page portlet you just created instead of the notification portlet
This should achieve what you seek without having to dig into out-of-box portlets.

I think you have the hints in the wrong place - as far as I was aware, the hint had to come straight after the SELECT/UPDATE/INSERT/DELETE key word - but I could be wrong as I've never really tried it elsewhere. Also, unless the optimiser mode for your database is set to FIRST_ROWS or RULE (god help you!:), ALL_ROWS is the default behaviour.
Basically what you are trying to say is bring me back all ra_customer_trx_all rows that have purely numeric trx_numbers right?
Why, if you need to be able to represent trx_number as a number, do you have non-numeric data in there???? That's a bit dodgy isn't it?
Anyway, what about:

Slight correction to the where clause. Art first I thought you didn't need the trim on there, but that was just down to the number sequence in translate...
