How to manage affectaion of the user equipment.

Hi Experts
In the management of SAP hardware on each equipement is assigned to a user (number), please how can we make this setting on SAP, Also How can we manage this change of assignment (Changing the number) while keeping history assignments for each equipment ?

Please set an authorization trace in ST01 and then ask the user to execute the transaction and the steps on the same application server as the o ne on which the trace has been set (valid in case we are talking about mutiple application servers for same <SID>). After this is done switch off the trace,list it and fill all the authorization objects. That might give you the perfect idea.

How to keep track of the users who are all currently logged in

Hi All,
I have basic knowledge of Session and Servlets. I am wondering how to keep track of the users who are all currently logged in. There should be some way of achieving it.
I thought of it and come up with having an Application variable that hold it when ever a user successfully logged in.

You can do this by keeping data in a static veriable in a some class of yours. The variable will need to be a collection.
Whenever a user loogs in to the site a servlet/jsp should put the users information in to the collection and when logs off or when the session expires the entry should be take off.
You can achive this by storing the velues in a some sort of a week collection where the entries are automaticaly removed when all the other refferences to the entry goes out of scope.
You might need to read bit about java.lang.ref package and WeekReference
Or you can make the entry in the collection contain the last time that the user visited any of the pages and a thread can run time to time and clean up the older entries which have timed out

This is usually a sign that your iPod's headphones are not plugged in all the way. Make sure that you cannot see any of the silver still showing from the headphone's plug. You should hear a sort of popping/clicking noise when inserting the headphones letting you know that they have been fully seated.

If you go to bpel console host:port/BPELConsole (in a dev install, localhost:9700), click on your process, we will generate, based on the describing wsdl a UI for you ..

1. Navigate to "Content Management >> Reports"
2. At the Approval Maintenance's context menu click on "more >> Properties"
3. On details page click on "Access Link"
4. Copy the explorer url and paste into the URL Iview.
I'm not sure if it is the right way.

How can I detect if the user "prefers" Qt or GTK?

It sounds impossible, but I want to try.
I'm thinking that a start might be reading the root window atoms in addition to the process list, but I'm not too sure what else.
This goes beyond "the user's running {KDE,GNOME}"; I don't really want to figure out the windowmanager, I want to use deduction so as to figure out what toolkit the user would prefer something to use. The idea is then to compile both Qt and GTK toolkit calls into whatever given program along with a simple abstraction layer and the detection stuff, so I can from there figure out which toolkit to use at startup.
I don't expect perfect detection, but it'd be fun to figure out.
Ideas, anyone?
My first stab at detecting a "GTK preference" is checking if the user is running gnome-session-manager. I'm not too sure what processes set "KDE session" apart from "a Qt-based program is running" because Qt has this tendancy to load 3874692725 things when anything starts and leave them preloaded for the next app. Nice idea, but not for low-RAM machines like mine. Only reason I haven't ravaged bits of KDE and stuffed them into my openbox desktop configuration

How about a environmental variable?
You could have something like this is your .bashrc
export MYTOOLKIT=qt
or
export MYTOOLKIT=gtk
Then in your c-program you do something like this:

How to email report to the users

Hi,
I have a few reports in 6i. I can preview them but cannot mail them to the users. When I click on the mail icon, it gives me this error :
REP-4203: Error occurred while sending a mail message.
Second option I did was to directly create a pdf report but this doesnt work either. I gave the desformat as pdf, desname as c:\myreport.pdf, mode as default, destype as File and printjobs No.
I ran the report and it did something. But now when I search in my C:\ I cannot find the pdf report there. I also did a search but cannot find it anywhere.
Please let me know how to develop a pdf report or how to email a preview report to the users. I need to send the report to my users but both the options dont work.

If you mean how to see a user list with the T-Code they are using.
Then you can just use T-Code SM04.
It will give all the information about those user.
Or If you mean User Exists.

How to view/edit/delete the user created profile in oracle 9i? Very Urgent

I logged in as system in oracle 9i.
SQL> create profile testpro limit
2 idle_time 1;
Profile created.
SQL> alter user scott profile testpro;
User altered.
Then i logged in to sqlplusw as a scott user.
and i waited for 10 mins after that.
sql> select * from cat;
its working......
how come? i have already set a idle time to 1 minute.
Please correct me if im wrong.
Also, how can i view/edit/delete the user created profile.

The resource limits set for a profile are enforced only when you enable resource limitation for the database.

How could I avoid/disable the user to execute the command /BDEL?

I've tried to map it by SU53 but all users have this option and when the users run SM35 they delete some necessary postings.
How can I control it? By profile or by system configuration?

I think it is acceptable for (key) users to monitor their BI sessions and even correct them.
If they can process them online then they might as well have not posted the entry manually as well as in both cases the control is still with the user.
Are there any commands which they do need?
An alternative is to hand the control over to background processing and give them access to check the error logs?

You can't.
Java runs in a virtual machine, and relies on the OS to forward events to the virtual machine for dispatch to the appropriate swing components.
This means that the OS will get the alt-tab, before java, and it will consume it.
You can however detect when a window is no longer receiving focus, by adding a WindowListener
Window.addWindowListener(WindowListener l)And you can bring your window to the front (in theory) using
Window.toFront()However, I have found this to be not always successful (since the jre dispatches the request to the OS, it is the OS that must do it, and depending on the context may not).
I suggest you try another language, such as C.
