How to manage and remove iPhoto collections in iPhone when syncing

Question

I'm trying to free up storage space in my iPhone 4S.  I have the latest iOS version7.0.4 and my iMac is on Maverick. In iTunes before syncing i went to the Photos tab and requested to only sync the last 3 months with no videos to appear on the 4S.  However I noticed that after syncing past Collections from over the years are still on my iPhone and still taking up storage space.  Any suggestions out there having to not have those older Collections sync and appear?  Thanks.

Method 3: Use AD psdrive with the cmdlet New-PSDrive -PSProvider ActiveDirectory
If we use the cmdlet with credential to get the permission to execute the operation as Method one,  we always need to input the admin’s password, which is annoying, so you can try this method.
After we run the cmdlet “import-module activedirectory” on DC, we can use the cmdlet “Get-PSDrive”, and we will find that the “AD” with the provider “ActiveDirectory” will be listed in the result.
These PSDrives can help you access different resources in a uniform way, we can use these PSDrives to make working across multiple domains easier.
Example3:  Add and Remove the user in domain 2 to the group in domain 1

The script in the screenshot listed as below:
1) Create the new AD psdrive of domain1 in domain2:
Import-Module activedirectory New-PSDrive -Name test -PSProvider ActiveDirectory -root
"" -server test.server.com -Credential TEST\Administrator
2) Use the new AD psdrive:
Set-Location test:
$u = Get-ADUser test11 –Server bichso.test.server.com
$g = Get-ADGroup newtest1
Add-ADGroupMember $g –Members $u
Get-ADGroup newtest1 –Properties * | select members
Remove-ADGroupMember $g –Members $u
Get-ADGroup newtest1 –Properties * | select members
