How to manage calendars on syncing

We have many devices all use my main Itunes account, i use Hotmail as my calendar so its not synced, but my wife used to sync her iphone with Outlook, now I've moved to an iMac we don't have Outlook so I assume I need to sync to the Calendar/Notes/Contacts on the iMac itself?
But when I tried I got the following message:
The information on the iPhone “XXX iPhone” is synced with another user account. Do you want to sync this iPhone with the information from this user account instead?
"Merge Info” merges the information on this iPhone with the information from this user account.
“Replace Info” replaces the information on this iPhone with the information from this user account.
She has an iTunes account but we never synced before on the PC to her account, it all worked off the same Itunes account - mine but synced to Outlook.
Is This USer Account, hers or mine and what happens if I do merge, etc?

The iPad, and iPhone, are excellent browsers, especially the iPad. I have not missed Flash, and I hope to never see it on my iPads or iPhone. It is a hog on resources, causes issues with Macs, and PeeCees, as well as about everything it touches. It's pure crap! I speak from experience, too!
Speaking of proprietary, you can't get more so that Adobe.I hardly ever run in to a situation where I need Flash, and if I do, I just move along - I can also just read the text, and ignore the lack of images.
It is not all that common, unless you are visiting a lot of nefarious places. I guess I just don't visit places that require it. Some of the News folks use it, but are fast converting to HTML5, as they should be.
If you can't live without Flash, then get a different phone, tablet, and computer - no one is making you do anything, you have a choice. I'm quite frankly tired of hearing gripes about the iPhone/iPad not using Flash - it's a waste of forum space and time - Flash is a dead issue, get over it.
To keep complaining about it will not change anything, it will quite likely never, never happen!

Ical on two computers - how to keep calendars in sync properly

My setup includes a MacBook Pro and an Imac G4. Until one month ago the G4 was my only computer and I used Ical to publish my work schedule. Now I use the MBP primarily. My desire is to have Ical sync my work schedule on both computers, and also continue to publish it online.
As of right now whichever calendar is changed first overwrites the online calendar - I think I need to only have one machine publishing the calendar? Also, new events sync nicely through .Mac, but changed or deleted events do not always seem to get updated on the Imac. Any thoughts?

It seems to me that you have correctly determined that it makes sense to only publish an identical calendar from one of the computers.
After appropriately backing up your calendars, you might want to consider Resetting .Mac Sync. It appears as if both of your computers are using 10.4.6, but just in case..."If you sync between computers with different versions of Mac OS X, try to reset the sync data from the computer with Mac OS X 10.4, if possible."
Make sure that "Synchronize my calendars with other computers using .Mac is checked in the General Preference of the iMac.

Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac does not recognize any Calendars for syncing

ive installed the blackberry desktop manager for my Macbook and hooked my phone up through the USB port when I started the program and when I go to the calendar section it says "There are no calendars available on this computer for syncing. Please launch a new iCal and create a new calendar". How do I fix this? I have a lot of information on my iCal that I want transferred over to my phone, but it won't recognize the calendar in the program. Help

I'll try to help...first you did not provide any pertinent information for troubleshooting: Mac OS, device, device OS...
Now before you do anything go to iCal>File>Export and create an iCal archive (JIC). The rest is dependent on the OS (as each store iCal data differently)...It is possible that your calendar file is not where it should be. Try cleaning system and user cache. Restarting your mac and repair permissions.
On the device side, what do you have as the default CICAL? You could try forget device in the DM or trash the user>username>application support>BlackBerryDesktop folder and start over.
Now do you have more than one calendar? In the DM how are you setting the sync? Two Way, All Calendars...to what calendar are you adding on the device? Under Advanced Settings are you selecting All events and are you Replacing all calendar events on the Blackberry device? Remember that even if you have multiple calendars in iCal they will sync as one in the BlackBerry.

Well if you got the Phone Pggray43 at a Local Corporate store in your Area) you should be able to return it as long as you have all the contents.! Phone, Charger and any other accessories that came with it the Box of Course.. As long as you have not went past the 14 Day return.. the store can go over what you used as in Air Time and Data..
Now if you've went past the 14 Day return you be Liable to pay a E.T.F = Early Termination Fee the fee for this is around $300 so hopefully you have not went past the 14 Day return window the Manager if Available is the one I would talk to tell them your on Social Security and you just can't afford a phone as this I'm sure they'll work with you to get something solved..

Manage Calendars C6-01 -How do I delete calendars?

Last weekend I bought a new C6-01. I was able to backup and sync the data from my old Nokia 6120 phone to the C6-01. But in the process I now appear to have 5 Calendars under Manage Calendars.
I have rationalized these so that now I only have entries under 1 of the calendars, and have hidden 4 calendars from display.
There are options to Add new calendars, but what about deleting calendars?
Can anyone explain how this can be done?
Also - while Nokia promotes the C6-01 as having multiple calendars, I want just one so that work and home are balanced and I don't make a doctor's appointment on a day full of work meetings. It may sound great but I actually just want to manage 1 calendar - and to do that electronically. Thankfully, after a week of investigation, my C6-01 does sync with my work Lotus Notes Calendar

We are attempting to use SharePoint 2010 in combination with Exchange 2010 to implement shared calendars and contact lists throughout our organization. We are able to connect the lists to Outlook 2010, but have been unsuccessful in viewing
the calendars and contact lists from our mobile phones. How do we use Active Sync to view SharePoint Lists (Contacts and Calendars) on a Mobile Phone?
In trying to answer this question, we have come across a few different possibilities, all of them falling just short of a long term solution for us. After doing research, we found that Active Sync will only show the default folders of the account. To
solve this, we downloaded an Add-In for Outlook (CodeTwo FolderSync) to synchronize folders and synchronized our SharePoint list with a new Contact list in the default folder. The issue we came across with this method is that the Add-In we are using
is not capable of automatic synchronization. There is a button and it must be clicked after every update is made, which is not ideal for our solution. We then went to the company (CodeTwo) and found server side software (Exchange Sync) that they
offer which will automatically synchronize the folders. After installing that on the Exchange Server, we now are running into the issue of not being able to locate the SharePoint lists on the Exchange Server.
Does anyone happen to know how we can get to the SharePoint lists from the Exchange Server? Has anyone else been able to use shared contacts lists and calendars from SharePoint on their mobile phones using Active Sync? If so, are we in the right
direction with what we have found so far?

You cannot use ActiveSync for that, but there are SharePoint clients for the iPhone. Windows Mobile 7 natively supports SharePoint with SharePoint Workspace Mobile, part of Microsoft Office Mobile. Android and BlackBerry might also have some apps.

If the hard drive that crashed is the one that stored the itunes library, be sure to restore the library from Time Machine (mac) or whatever backup you use on windows. That will get back your music. I suspect that the replacement drive has an empty itunes library and thus, perhaps, the itunes match used that to sync to its servers.
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

Entourage will not sync with iCloud, not now, probably not ever, time to change.

Enable iCloud on both, and Calendars on the iPhone should sync with iCal on the Mac wirelessly.

iCloud wasn't on, I accepted iTunes offer to upgrade to 6.1.1.
Next time I went to sync through iTunes, iCloud was on.
Your advice appears to have solved my problem...for now.

Historically, the upgrade to 6.0 lost all of my contacts.
A manual restore brought them back.
Tech support said "Oh, that happens sometimes, you have to back up before upgrades", fortunately I do.

I have three device: Macbook Pro (OSX 10.7.5) for work; an iPad and a Blackberry for mobile. I used mail, iCal, and Address Book combine with mobileme (iCloud) to exchange data such as contact, calendar and task from my Mackbook Pro to my iPad but never to Blackberry. The problem is my boss was asking me to change to Outlook 2011 for Mac because some of the email that I sent from Mail did not appear in my client's Blackberry. So how do you sync iCloud (contact, calendar, task) to Outlook 2011 for Mac? and how do you make seemless sync between iCloud to Outlook 2011 to Blackberry device or an iPad?

I have to admit, I've owned an Iphone for 2 years now and I still can't figure out how to manage my pictures. I'm confused, I don't know how to get them out, import them...I have 3 albums in my phone taking a huge amount of space with duplicates in : camera roll, photo library , last importation ...!
same goes for Adress book.
Can anybody help and explain to me how that works ? Explain it to me as if I'm a 4 year old !
