How to manage my Mail Storage on iPad2? I have 2.6 GB. All mailboxes are cleared and only about 20 messages are in the InBox. How do I reduce the storage?

No, I realized that about how many emails it downloads. Can't say I understand why they chaged it.
But my issue is that I have 2.6 GB of mail storage on my Ipad. I deleted all my mailboxes and have only 10 messages in my inbox. Do not understand why I have 2.6 GB of mail storage. Any ideas?

How to manage migrated mail enabled PFs??

Howdy All,
So I just completed a public folder migration from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013.
Everything went really well except now all the mail enabled PFs that came across are all showed as not mail enabled even though they are mail enabled.
Meaning, in the EAC under public folders every PF has a no beside their name for mail enabled even though we have about 50 folders that are mail enabled and are working.
So now when I need to disable a mail enabled folder I can’t.
If I enable the folder for mail, it now has two email address, the old one and the new one.
How does one go about managing these old mail enabled PFs????

The above command gave me a list of all the PFs that I have.
A bunch apparently are in a corrupted state but not my email enabled PFs.
I did figure out the solution to my problem though and this is what worked for me.
In ADSIedit I found all my public folders.
When I took in each mail enabled object I could see that it has an email address.
Under the following attributes I cleared the value:
Mail
Mailnickname
proxyAddress (SMTP)
shownInAddressBook
Wait about 5 minutes and then mail enable the PF folder that I want.
In most cases it the email address took the name of the public folder (desired result), in some cases the old email address was still floating around and I had to disable and re-enable the PF to get the desired
result.
Now the issue that I have seen is that users that have emailed this PF before have it cached in their outlook which doesn’t work anymore.
They must clear this cache and re-type in the email address, then everything is great.

I just purchase my ipad2 2 days ago. yesterday, there was a sound. today there is no sound. there is a sound only in movies and you tube and music. but no sound on all apps and keyboards. I look it up and seems like ther are few that have this problem. I called walmart coz I bought it there and they told me that they have not heard that before but if I can't fix it, just return it and exchange it with anew one since I have 14 days to do that. I tried rebooting it and still won't work. Should I just restore it?

Did anyone ever provide a resolution, because I am having the same problem.
My iCloud backup said yesterday that over 500 MB was being used by the Mail portion of the backup. So I went into iCloud.com, deleted all of the mail in my Sent Mail folder, then emptied the trash entirely. When I did that, it got worse; it said that 1.2 GB of the iCloud backup was taken up by the Mail backup. That doesn't make any sense. That is actually the opposite of what was supposed to happen.
Today, it is back to saying that Mail takes up 609.4 MB of space in the backup, but there is next-to-nothing in any of my iCloud email folders. What is going on?
Any suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'

How to manage plug-ins in Mail

At some point, I have installed an application (Antidote) which help to correct a french text. When I start my computer I have a message from Mail saying "Incompatible Plug-in disabled, Antidote - PJ". Mail won't start until I click on OK to acknowledge the message. I don't know how to manage the plug-ins in Mail (or any application).
I tried to completely remove the Antidote application but I still have the same message when I restart or start my computer. I have installed Yosemite but that didn't make a diference. Any suggestions? Thanks.

There is no setting on the iPhone. That is what I told you in the first post. Your email client on the computer probably has a junk filter built in or something you can set. The only way to filter email on the iPhone is at the server.

And regarding your Mail storage folders that you want available on the iPad, mail storage folders from which email account? Since you just created an iCloud email account, any locally stored mailboxes created for another email account must be transferred to the server for your iCloud account for the mailboxes to be available with the account with the Mail app on your iPad. All server stored mailboxes with an IMAP account will be available automatically when accessing the account with the iPad's Mail app, but you must place any locally stored mailboxes on the server first. If you use the Mail.app on your Mac, select an drag a locally stored mailbox under the iCloud desgination in the Mail.app mailboxes drawer to copy the mailbox to the server with your iCloud account.

Go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage and check to see how much storage you have used.
If you are deleting apps and other content, something about that message doesn't seem right to me. What are you trying to do when you get this message? Take photos? Shoot a video?
Try quitting the camera app completely and restart the iPad. See if the message goes away.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
