How to Manage Several (But Similar) Masks on One Layer

Hello, in video tutorials i'd like to "sketch-motion" a red circle around relevant areas – several times in one video, around several areas in several sizes, sometimes elliptical and sometimes rounded rectangle. Sometimes i might want to show changes in position and dimensions of the circle. The video tutorial itself is one video layer including audio, already rendered before imported to AE.
I know how to create a "sketch-motion" effect with a (for instance elliptical) mask and the "Stroke" effect. Now this red circle has various keyframes:
- At least for "Start" of "Stroke" effect and ended "Opacity" of this circle
- sometimes more keyframes for position and transform
I wonder how to best create 6 or 10 such red circles within one video tutorial:
- Should i do everything with one single "Mask 1", with keyframes for several appearances in several areas and sizes or
- should i create a new mask for every circle that i want to show (sounds much preferable)?
I don't want to arrange again the keyframes for each new circle added (build-up time of Stroke effect, fade-out time). Is it possible to save a mask with all keyframes and import it at several points on the time line, with all keyframes intact? (Position and Size would still be adjusted, as well as length of visibility.)
I searched but didn't find a good solution how to manage a "master mask" or "mask template" or how to show that mask with the "Stroke" effect various times with always similar keyframes for "Start" and "Opacity". If you could hint me at how to manage that, that would be great.

How to include several PDF documents into just one file?

I have a Word document with 6 pages that I saved in PDF.
I wanted to transform the entire document in JPEG (JPG) immage, so that I could use it in other tools, such as Facebook for example.
The problem is that using Adobe Photoshop it opens and saves page by page.
Can you give me s solution or hint?

How can I manage several ID on my computer, one for my iPhone and another one for the iPad of the family?

Hi everybody
Just have bought an ipad2 and i would like to manage several IDs on my computer (i.e keep my iPhone ID and create another one for the ipad to manage apps for my iPhone (4) and the apps for the iPad).
How can I resetup the iPad to create that new ID on itunes?

If you have separate iTunes accounts for the two devices then you'll need to buy 2 copies of any app that you want on both device - you can't copy or move apps from one account to another (they are tied to the account that bought/downloaded them). If you want to reset the iPad then logout of the account on it (Settings > Store and tap the id on the right-hand side) and then Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings will reset it back to factory defaults.

How do I "Select pixels" on more than one layer, then "Paint bucket" ?

Using Photoshop CS4.
I have a document with several layers.
If I right click a layer in the "Layers UI" and then click "Select pixels" then the pixels in that layer is selected.
Then I can use the "Paint bucket" to e.g. set another color for the selected pixels.
Is it possible to "Select pixels" from more than one layer, and then use "Paint bucket" once to change color for all the selected pixels in one go?

You wont be able to FILL more than one layer at a time.
But loading seections can be done by holding control SHIFT and clicking on the layer thumnail in the layers panel. Each click will load more area depending on which layers you load

How to manage several sessions

my problem is following :
I develop an online shop system in which user sign up and buy some items.
the user information and the item information will be saved in an HttpSession object and then the user will be forwarded to a epayment gateway (paypal or ipayment) and pay the amount and will be forwarded to my site again.
in this time I get some information from epayment gateway, control them and if they are true I want to save the payment, user and item information to the DB but in this case I can not reach to the first information which I have already saved to the session (I think i get a new session from payment)
how can I manage this sessions together without lose any information?

I don't think you want to do it this way. I think this strategy will work better:
1) save initial data to database, get ID
2) epayment redirect with ID
3) update database with results
If the user interrupts the payment you will have a record in your database that is incomplete, but that can be cleaned up through a regular maintenance task, if you even want that (might be useful to have orders that are placed but not succesfully paid for, if the user is having problems you can perhaps contact them manually to assist them (you = owner of website)).
This way no session needs to be maintained, all you need is an ID value that you can send along through the payment routine.

How can I manage several itunes accounts on only one iPhone4S?

I don't want to get illegaly some applications from my friends or collegues itunes account.
In fact, my company decided to give me an iPhone4S for a professional usage and it is strongly recommended to not use my personal itunes account.
(I had already an iPhone 4 for personal usage)
So I created a new iTunes account, dedicated to professional usage. Now, I need to download on my professional iPhone business applications that I have bought with my personal itunes account.

This is a good opportunity to have a User Account for each of your family members. And each User Account can login iTunes with their desired Apple ID.
You can set this up from the Apple Logo > System Preferences > Users & Groups.

How to delete all but visible area of a layer

I think this should be simple, but I can't figure out how to do it. I have a container I'm trying to draw with a border around it, to this border I'm going to apply various effects so it needs to remain a separate layer from the container.
To create the boarder I just created a copy of the container and scaled one down by the size I wanted the boarder to be. Now, in order for the effects I want to apply to work properly (name create a beveled edge), I need to delete the parts of it that are masked by the topmost layer. The only thing I'm coming up with so far is using the magic wand tool to select the top layer and deleting that selection from the bottom layer (which will act as the outside edge of the container). This isn't ideal because it ends up deleting some of the transparency where the containers overlap which I would like to keep.
A side question which I feel I should know, but just can't figure out as of yet. I feel like I shouldn't have to be using the magic wand tool to select the top layer since I want to select everything visible in that layer, is there a way to do this?

No, but each device is limited to protected content from up to 5 different accounts. Updating iOS apps purchased over more than one account is non-trivial as you have to actively log in to each account in turn. I would suggest sticking to one account while everyone is living in the same household.

What I was saying is: you absolutely can have multiple accounts in Game Center and still use the same Apple ID to sign in / make purchases across multiple devices - which I think was what the OP was asking. I would call them "Game Center accounts" instead of Apple IDs because you never actually log into your device using those accounts - only Game Center. What you are saying is that they are also Apple IDs. Either way, the terminology is confusing.
Suffice to say: the OP can have multiple accounts through Game Center - one for each device - but still keep the "main" Apple ID for making purchases and sharing apps across both devices. To do this, make a new account in Game Center for the second device.
Luisno9: If you're asking is it possible to merge the data from the two accounts, my guess is no. If you're asking how to log in using only one account excusively, you could try deleting the second account (if that's possible - I haven't tried), although I'm sure you'd lose your place in the game. Finally, if nothing else works I'd suggest only opening your apps using the same method each time to avoid the problem. Sorry that's not more help!

How To Apply Similar Transformation Of One Layer To Another Without Duplicating?

This is my first post.
I'm also new to Adobe Photoshop as well . I have a sample 3d eCover and I want to fit an image over the front part. However, I'm having a hard time transformating my image to perfectly the front layer. Is there any option to apply the same transformation of my front cover layer to my image?
Additional infos:
1. The front cover layer of the 3D eCover is not yet merged with the other layers. So, I can still edit it.
2. I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS6.

Convert the untransformed image layer (or a duplicate of it) to Smart Object then use Edit > Transform > Distort to align the SO with the sample.
The SO is not necessary but it has several benefits:
Multiple transform sessions will not increasingly degrade the appearance.
Each time you initiate a transform session, handles will be attached to the corners and edges of the SO instead of an axis-aligned bounding rectangle.
It can be a template into which you load alternative images to instantly transform them.

Is it possible to have a mask on one layer affect layers below it? AECS6

I am animating a stick figure (because I'm an awesome artist! ) Anyhow the head is made up of a hollow outlined circle, and I want to have the stick man raise his arms, and have the head block the arm that passes behind it (Instead of showing the arm through his head) Is this possible? If so, how can I accomplish this?

To mask you need an alpha channel. If you just have a stroked shape layer for the head then you don't have an alpha anywhere but over the stroke.
You'll have to fill the shape and either duplicate it and use the duplicate as a track matte for the arm layer or you'll have to set a mask on the arm shape layer that's exactly the same size and shape as the head.
If you need the head shape not filled then you can turn off the fill for the head and still use the track matte.
If you can use the head shape with a fill then you can just stack up the layers in the right order and the hand will be blocked by the head shape.
There are so many ways to do this kind of thing that a screenshot would be very helpful.
Here's a setup with a track matte and a hollow circle for the head. I've selected the hand so you can see the paths. Notice how the stroke dissapears behind the head layer.

yes, but you can't mask a mask and have it do what you would expect, you can't mask more than 1 object with the same mask and you can't assign more than 1 mask property to a displayobject at any one time.
if you want to apply mask1, mask2,.., maskN to bane_mc, you would use something like:

How do I add two FX Styles onto one layer?

I hope I've come to the right place.
I have a small problem. I'm trying to add two different FX Styles to a text layer, is this possible and If so, how would I go about doing this?
I'd like to "merge" these two effects into the text layer.

What I did was, copy the layer, removed the FX from that layer and added the FX I was looking for onto the copy and presto - I got the layer to look exactly how I wanted it.
