I need add new member in a dimension account. i run a import pkg, if any member into csv file there isn´t in dimension, i need impot this mmber automaticaly, how can i do it?

Updating dimesnion member is possible through custom datamanager packages using Webadmin task.
you need to create a task where u need to update mbr table and also the Excel file and process the dimesnion

How to restrict the members to build the in essbase based on levels using EAL.
I've requirement, in one dimension, needs to build the one level1 member as level0 in essbase.
please let me know the procedure, if any one implemented or face similar.

there's no such functionality in EAL to create Essbase outlines based on levels. the only workaround to this is to use Mapping tables:
1- create the dimension in essbase with the desired HFM level 1 members as level 0.
2- set this specific dimension to mapping in your design grid within your EAL Bridge
3- create the SQL Mapping table and start mapping those members from HFM to Essbase.

but as stated don't use the same appleID if you just do it to save money on apps you can just use family sharing it accomplish the same

The best you could do would be to run a rules file (import dimensions) using a file that contains the members you want to keepload rule for the dimension. As typical the warning is to test this first before you do it on a production database

Here i'm building the dimension through generation build method.
setting the properties as
Field, Dimension, Field Type, Field Number
Field1,Product,Generation,2
Field2,Product,property,2
Field3,Product,Generation,3
Field4,Product,Generation,4
After mapping it shows dimensions are correctly mapped.
When i load the source file and the rule file, it shows error partially loaded data,.And it doesn't shows the shared member property. That is what asked How to modify the source file for building shared members using Rules file.

How to delete account members with no data (EPMA)

Hi all,
I loaded an account hierarchy coming from SAP in EPMA and now that I have the data into my cube I need to remove all the branches which bottom have no data. I have a list of all used account, and the EPMA ads file, how would you approach this problem? At the moment the Account is a Sparse dimension which all non-bottoms are dynamic, I would like to have some tips before start approaching the problem in some weird way..

You could just go into EPMA and remove those members from the Dimension Library APPLICATION Pane (The one in the middle that appears when you are exiting an app) by right clicking and "Excluding" from the hierarchy.

Do you mean you have shared members in the hierarchy and you want to remove them, anyway one way is to export the dimension, clean the export file, then import it back it in but drop all the members from the dim first.

How do I FIX members in a Business Rule to those set in outline security?

Let's say..
- I've granted write access to one user a branch of members in one dimension.
- I include a Level 0 selection of that dimension in a data form in the Page view, which correctly allows input only to those members for that user.
How can my BR fix only on those bottom level members appearing in the dataform?

Hi,
one possibility is to create RTPs in your Business Rule, insert these (global variables) in your fix statement, connect the Business Rule to your dataform and check in business rule properties tab the boxes for "Run on Save", "Use Members on Data Form" and "Hide Prompt".
Then your users can only select members in pages for that they have access rights and the business rule calculates the selected member combination.

How to model groups/members that are many to many using logical dimension?

This is the RPD support for cascading prompts in BI Answers. In our data model, we have agentgroups and agents, connected by an agentgroupbridge. Since agents can be in more than one group, the relationship is many:many. We'd like to be able to include both agentgroups and agents as input prompts. When a user selects one or more of the agentgroups in a drop-down selection list, only the agents in the agentgroup(s) selected appear in the agents' drop-down selection list.
agentgroup[full list of agentgroups] => make agentgroup selection => agents[only those agents in selected groups]
We plan to combine agentgroups and the bridge into a view, so that there would only be one step from the group to the members.
Can this be done in an OBI RPD? Is it implementable via logical dimension with hierarchy? If so, parent-child or level-based?

Need to replicate it back in local to check how we can do contraint here with multiple selection of agentgroups in prompts. For sure only a hierarchy in RPD would be able to do this....
Incase you just want to try with one value selected in agentgroups then you can go for presentation variable.
Prompt1
- agentgroups column which set presntation variable 'pv_agtgrp'
Prompt2
- Show SQL for agentscolumn.bridgetable (pull bridgetable in presentation layer here) and the SQL would be
SELECT agentscolumn.bridgetable from bridgetable.SubjectArea where agentgroups.bridgetable = '@{pv_agtgrp}'. This would also populate a new presentation variable say 'pv_agts'
pv_agts would be used to filter the reports.

How to combine Row members in Create Composit Forms in Planning 9301

I'm working on Hyperion System9 Planning 9.3.01. I have created two data forms for Actuals and Budget data. Wherein in Actuals form the actual data is pulled from the Oracle GL and I'm entering the budget data in my Budget Form.
Now the question here is I wanted to combine these tow forms into a single form using "CreateComposite" option and I'm able to create the composite form for both actual and Budget form. But the composite form displays two separate forms side-by-side. Whereas I wanted to combine the Row members of both forms as both have same row members.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

In the issue above, if you want to show the two other tables in the report, I think you could combine the tables into one datatable joining on key. The link below show an example of a DataSet Helper from Microsoft about combine DataSets. Take note of
