I want to bring long text in my cube which is already having purchase data.
As we have enhanshed the fields in my data source 2lis_02_itm and Scl. Now how can i map my infoobject in BW with the fields so that the data will be stored in the cube correclty.

We have a requirement to enhance the BP master data in CRM in such a way that Condition group1- condition group5 of ECC customer master data can be mapped to the BP master data in CRM. This is required because the fields are used in pricing and pricing records needs to be sent to CRM. These fields are not in CRM and SAP suggests an enhancement.

Sorry, didn't read it properly. In this case you have to do enhancement. Do the following:
ERP side:
- in sm30 for table TBE24 define new entry for user exit
- in table TPS34 define user exit for process CRM0_200 and some Z function and product from step 1
- define Z function as copy of standard fm SAMPLE_PROCESS_CRM0_200
- define coding for Z function. you will have to append your data to T_BAPISTRUCT which contains data that are sent to CRM
CRM side:

How to map field with xsd:dateTime dataType?

Dear friends,
I need to produce the following output for a field defined as xsd:dateTime.
2009-02-18T09:53:02.491+01:00
I tried with a XSLT mapping with a XPATH function "current-dateTime()". However, the XSLT engine of XI doesn't seem to support this XPATH function.
How can I produce the output according to the XSD datTime datatype?

How to map field with nillable = 'true'

Hi,
how can i map with the graphical tool of integration repository a field with nillable = 'true'?
When i have a value to map there is no problem, only when we have the source message without the element we map the problem occurs. is there an attribut to be set or something else?

From what I understand, there is a target field which is mandatory.
If the source field that is mapped to this field exixts, then there is no problem.
But when the source field doesn;t exists, then there is a problem. Right?
YOu can use the node function mapWithDefault for your requirement.
source -> mapWithDefault -> target

a username would be helpfull...
you have to prepopulate your values to the OID process form and than add the mapping of your fields to the corresponding OID Field by adjusting the lookup AttrName.Prov.Map.OID.

How to map when the Context node has more than one element

Dear SDN Community,
I am develping a WebDynpro java application with Adobe forms. My goal is to present a user a screen with 10 records of customer details and submit. I have created a context element for the customer(Cust#, address details etc) and mentioned the cardinality as 1..n. Now How do I bind these 10 records in my data view to first element, second element... 10th element of the context. Once the user submits, I need to write the 10 record values to Z table. Can you please advice me here.

IN MY SO I PUT 100 QTY AND IN DELIVERY (VL01N) I SELECT PICKING QTY AS 150 IN THIS CASE SYSTEM ALLOWS TO DELIVER MORE QTY THEN SO. I NEED TO RESTIRCT THIS PL. GIVE SUGGESTION ON THE SAME. IF YOU GO TO MMBE THERE IS SUFFICIENT STOCK IN SYSTEM.

In the item shipping tab of sales order, there is a field "Delivery
torlarance", you could set the overdelivery torlarance percentage
according to your requirement.(if it is blank, system would treat it
as 0)
Then in the customizing of delivery item category(Tr-cd: 0VLP),
there is a field "Check overdelivery", you could set it to A or B
to control system issing warning or error message if user carries out
overdelivery.

How to import large excel files which exceeds more then 65535 rows

Hi there,
I am using the latest Numbers version (v3.5.3) on the latest Yosemite (10.10.3) and wonder if and how it is possible to import an Excel file which exceeds the 65535 limit. I know MS Excel has change this limit to 156118 rows. But I don't have that program. I am only using the Mac versions.

My knee jerk reaction would be to split the incoming Excel file. (How else can a gallon of water fit into a half gallon jug?) I googled 'Excel file splitter' and up came a bunch of hits with one of them coming from this Apple Community. How to map new field in DSO

I have added a new field to the dso and i have replicated the datasource as well which is showing the new field newly added in ecc. how can i map the new keyfigure in the transformation between the datasource and ods. its showin in the ds, can u pls tell me how to map now.

Ya but the problem is I have an infosource in between and its not showing in the transformation between the dso and infosource.....nor the infosource and the datasource. But its there in the first transformation on the dso side, not on the inforsource side..... but how to get that field in the infosource side...so that i can map the field between both the transformations....between infosoucre and dso and infosouce and ds.....You know what I mean. the zfield is showin in the dso field structure in the first level mapping between dso and infosouce....but where do i map it.

How to Map the Unit field in case of DSO and INFOCUBE

I have a issue ,Please help me to solve this
I have DSO as provider ,
And, i have to map transformations btw the Datasource and DSO.
In generic Data source, i have unit fields like BASME,MEINS (Quantity units) & STWAE (currency field)
and normal Quantity fields like KWMNG,OAUME(quantity related),OAUWE (value related).
In DSO data fields as Key figure info objects like 0Quantity (which have 0Unit as unit of measure) and some other key figures which have there respective unit of measure in info object definition.
So you Please tell me how to map the Quantity ,Amounts, unit fields to key figures that we have.
(How it will be for both DSO and Info cube is there any difference?)

If it is works ,will u please tell me what is the difference ,if the transformations btw data source and DSO and
what is the difference btw data source and info cube and btw DSO to Infocube or cube to cube .
And i have seen the Quantity fields and there respective unit fields are mapped directly to key figure info object
in case of Info cube . Its working fine .
If only 1:1 mapping allowed in DSO data fields key figures and there respective unit of measure characteristic.
why this difference btw DSO and Info cube can any one explain me in detail.

It looks you are new to PI,
you have to develop scenario end to end, by creating source data type and target data type(if you have XSD's not required),then use Graphical mapping (message mapping) to map source and target structures.
Search in sdn for one end to end scenario you will understand easily

File to IDOC ( need advise on how to map file fields )

I spent quite some time reading all the helpful blogs and threads regarding File to Idoc scenario. However I had a very basic question ( maybe its trivial as I am just new to XI).
In my scenario I have Bank Master data (in a CSV file) and it does not correspond exactly to Bank Master IDOC structure BANK_CREATE01.
I understand that I will need to use File adapter to get this file into XI and then use an IDOC adapter to send it to R/3. (Pl correct me if I am wrong)
Now when I use file adapter, how will I do the data mapping. I mean do I need to create a structure which corresponds to file fields and then XI will automatically load my file fields into this structure and then I can use this structure to map fields to IDOC.
My only issue seems to be how will I see the FLAT FILE data in XML FORM in XI.
To explain it further my CSV file looks like
"GB,123456,11223344,GBP, London,.."
where
GB corresponds to country,
123456 corresponds to Bank key,
112233445566 corresponds to Bank account,
GBP is currency and so on
So should I create a data type maintaining same sequence of fields above without using any hierarchy like in the IDOC.
If this is not possible then will I need to transform my input file exactly into IDOC structure and then use it.
Hope I have manged to explain it.

First of all The CSV file has to be changed in to an XML file , To achieve this File Content Conversion has to be done.Once this is done, please make the following changes in R/3 and PI to push Idoc in to PI.
Configuration required at Xi side:
Go to IDX1: configure the port.
Go to IDX2: load the DOC metadata.
Go to SM59: Create RFC destination which points to R3 system this is require in the case where your IDOC is sent to R 3 system,
Configiration required at R3 side:
Maintain Logical System for PI (SALE transaction):
Maintain Partner Profile for XI system(WE20):

How to map user-defined fields in XML communication on SRM site

We use the External sourcing scenario and we transfer requirements from ERP in SRM through XI (PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_In)
We should transfer the user-defined fields, but we can not map it in SRM site.
We have enhanced enterprise service in XI, have realized BADI PUR_SE_PRERPSOURCINGRQCO_ASYN on ERP site.
I see the XML message with ours z-fields in tr. SXI_MONITOR (into SRM), but I can not find it in BBP_PDISC.
We try to use BADI BBP_SAPXML1_IN_BADI (there is no method for SC), and BADI /SAPSRM/BD_SOA_MAPPING (z-fields is empty)
Someone can tell how to map user-defined field for SC?

We have found solution our problem
We have enhanced standard service in a new enhancement name space and defined own enhancement elements in our namespaces. Then these enhancement elements refered to the SAP standard Enterprise Service.
But In our new interfaces were different XML namespaces
When we have correct an error we could use the next BADI
on ERP site: PUR_SE_PRERPSOURCINGRQCO_ASYN
on SRM site: /SAPSRM/BD_SOA_MAPPING

If you have configured a fileport where on trigger of IDOC you are creating the file, you can look at the message type documentation and get the offset values for each field in each segment
