How to merge 3 slideshows into one

I have 3 slideshows (projects) and I want to make them into one slideshow. How do I do that?

You can't aggregate the slideshow projects. But you can export each slide show to a windows media file and then create a new slideshow from the resultant three videos. Bu you won't be able to edit the transitions and pans/zooms. If that's what you want then you'll need Premiere Elements as you can export each slideshow to the same PRE project and, once in PRE, use the break-apart feature for full slide show editing features.

I hope someone can help me, because I am SO frustrated right now! I want to create an electronic document of a 40-page thesis I wrote. I no
longer have the original computer files, so I took digital photos of each page.
Then I converted all the jpegs into pdf files.
Now I want to merge these 40 jpegs into one pdf file.
I read that this is possible with Adobe Acrobat 8 or 9. So, yesterday I downloaded the trial version of what I thought was Adobe Acrobat 9. Well,
two whole hours later, all I could find on my computer was Adobe Reader 9, which would not allow me to merge any pdfs.
So, today, I again reinstalled the Adobe Acrobat 9. Now, after waiting another two hours, there is NOTHING on my computer--no Adobe Reader, no Adobe Acrobat, no desktop icons, nothing in the "All Programs" list when I press the Start menu, etc.
What happened? How could something that took so damned long to download be totally invisible on my computer now? I do see Arcsoft, but that is for photographs. Is it possible to merge pdfs together using Arcsoft?
I have SO much other work to do, and I am so disgusted that I have lost two days on this project, just trying to merge pdfs together! Please, if
you have any suggestions as to how to get Adobe Acrobat 9 as a trial version an/or how to merge pdfs, please answer this post!

Yes, I did install it, but one of the times it hanged at 99.96%. Do you know what that means?

Merging slideshows into ONE imovie

Please help, I created 4 individual slideshows in iphoto, each with one song. I then saved them as movies, and imported them into imovie. I was told this is the easiest way, which YES IT WAS!! Now I'm wondering how I can have them play one after the other in one movie.
I have each slideshow pulled up in the boxes on the right side and then I drag them into the area where it says build a project but when I play it, it only plays the one that is highlighted in blue. Is there a way that I can have each play in order without stopping? That is what I want to accomplish, so I can import it into idvd to burn. This is for my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner Dec 10th so I'd be SO relieved to figure this out. This is my first MAC, so I'm new to all of this stuff. Thanks in advance for any help and sorry for the wordy description!

Why not import them individually into iDVD and select them from menu buttons? Unless, of course, you only ever want to play the full set.
However it is worth solving the original query then you could put five movies on the DVD, one composit and four components.

How to merge paths into one?

I'm trying to shape morph a circle into 8 circles. So, the way I was planning to do this is to use the mask keyframe on a fill layer.
However I ran into a problem with actually pasting the 8 circles (I made them in Illustrator). After Effects pastes them as 8 separate masks, when the result I actually want is one single mask. How can I paste 8 different paths into a single vector mask?

You can't. That's just not how AE works. Each mask path is a separate entity, everything else is an illusion.

Apple has no provisions for this. You cannot merge multiple Apple ID's into one ID. Content is always tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase it.

Hmm, read that post of Dave Sawyer's and thought well, that's Ok I have it on my iPod, but no, it's not there either. Then resorted to Time Machine (not used for a few months (took it away with us when we evacuated to avoid Cyclone Yasi) only to find that is playing up also, and it doesn't appear to be anywhere there either!
One thing leads on to another - Time Machine has only backed up to 3 months back; then there is nothing beyond! yet there is tons of stuff on it. Maybe it backs up the whole system each time, and not just the changes made inbetween times. The prefs. won't appear and so I can't change the setup.
All this just because of one sone!

Convert different types of files and merged them into one pdf

Hi, everyone. I'm girl from China.
There is folder containing severl files of different types, like doc, msg, jpeg etc. And I want to convert and merge them into one pdf following a certain order. I know that PDFmaker can do that nicely, but the problem is that I have like 3000+ fodlders that requires the same work.
I want to do it with VBA and Acrobat. I have a Acrobat XI Standard Version and a perfect license, by the way

The code you posted is from an example of dynamic SQL, where you first run a Preliminary Query . (What you posted above is, in fact, the complete preliminary query.) The output of that preliminary query is exactly the variable part of the real query, such as:

IDVD - multiple slideshows into one

In IDVD how do I make multiple slideshows into one slideshow. I have never used this and I accidentally entered 300 pics as individual slideshows. How would I put all of them into one slideshow? I'm making a dvd for Christmas presents.

If you have more than 99 slides in a slideshow you will run into a noticable pause at the 99 to 100th slide transition, and at the 198 to 199 slide transition.
To make a slideshow with more that 99 slides that will play without the pauses the slides must be joined together in iPhoto for one large slideshow with the transition and background music of your choice. Then export it out of iPhoto as a Quicktime movie file and addes to the iDVD theme.
What version of iPhoto and iDVD are you using? It matters in how to export the slideshow out of iPhoto.

How to Merge Eudora into Apple Mail?

Mac OS 10.5.8 is now obsolete. So I'm planning to upgrade to Lion 10.7.x.
Since Lion does not support Eudora, I must switch to some other email client. After many hours of research I have decided to switch to Apple Mail.
Unfortunately, the two popular conversion applications (Emailchemy and Eudora Mailbox Cleaner) appear no longer in existence.
Any good tips on how to merge Eudora into Apple Mail on OS 10.5.8 (so I can upgrade to Lion 10.7.x)?

Hi folks,
I just helped someone move 350k messages from a series of Eudora archives to Apple Mail. Anyone who says they had great luck with Apple Mail directly importing their Eudora messages is either a liar or didn't notice (or care) that their dates were all messed up. So here are some notes.
First, Eudora Mailbox Cleaner only runs under 10.6 since it's PPC and requires Rosetta. So you're gonna need a 10.6 or earlier mac (or virtual machine).
Second, After running Eudora Mailbox Cleaner, you need to poke Apple Mail into rebuilding all those mailboxes. You can go Mailbox->Rebuild for each one if you only have a handful, but an alternative is to intentionally break (aka delete) Apple Mail's mailbox cache. You can do this by deleting/renaming the file called 'Mailboxes' (IIRC, I don't have a 10.6 mac in front of me to double check). Next time you open Apple Mail it will rebuild all your local mailboxes.
Third, Eudora Mailbox Cleaner will terminate if you throw it a particularly complex (or large group of mailboxes). I assume it has something to do with the way it walks mailboxes. You're going to want to break up any mail folder that has a number of large subfolders into multiple folders or imports. So for example, if you had the following structure:
folder/
folder/a (big)
folder/b (big)
folder/c (big)
Eudora mailbox cleaner will likely crash. If you reparent your folder structure so it's something like this:
folder/part1/a
folder/part2/b
folder/part3/c
This way no individual sub folder contains folders that exceed some magical threshold. I never figured out exactly how/why this happens, but if you put your big mailboxes each in their own folder, the import will usually just work. You might also have to break up your import into smaller chunks.
A couple other things to note, Eudora allows pretty much anything in mailbox names including ~><*%$@&/\|` etc. While most of these will continue to work fine in Apple Mail, it's in your best interest to rename them to something more normalized to steer clear of trouble.
As for Lion, I never successfully got Lion Mail to import mailboxes created by Eudora Mailbox Cleaner properly. Either they wouldn't show up at all or they would show up nested with two copies of the mailbox, for example MailboxQQ had messages in it as well as subfolder MailboxQQ/Messages with a duplicate copy of the mail.
So for me, going from Eudora to Lion Apple Mail I had to do the following:
Eudora->Eudora Mailbox Cleaner->Apple Mail (on 10.6) then copy the files over to the Lion machine and let Apple Mail (on 10.7) import the 10.6 Apple Mail Mailboxes into it's new 'V2' mailbox format.
So good luck. A perfect migration is possible, it just takes some work.
