How to merge adjustment layers to several layers and export layers to files

Hi!
I have now exactly the same problem as below with over 1000 images, I have saved them in .psd that has over 100 layers each. On top of those there is curves and levels layer that affects every layer below. I want to save all images to .jpg for videoedit with those curves at least. I don't want to merge same curves 100 times. Is there a solution in phothoshop cs5 or cs6 available? Would save alot of working hours. All I have got by this far is blank white images of adjustment layers and non adjusted jpg-files.

I absolutely need to merge the adjustments to the seperate layers because of how the layers are being used in a seperate 3d program.
So far what I've been doing is duplicating the adjustment layers for each layer and merging them to said layers separately.. Anyone have a better way? I wish I could just right click the adjustment layer and Tell it to merge to everylayer it affects or apply to every layer underneath it!

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.

What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

How can i convert from alac to mp3 and export to artist/album hierarchy

I am trying to populate a 32GB SD Card with music to listen to in my car. My itunes library is largely in apple lossless format, but the car stereo does not play that format.
I have created a playlist of all of the music I'd like to have on the SD Card (but its in apple lossless format).
So what I'd like to do is:
a)     Bulk convert a large number of apple lossless files to MP3.
b)     Export the MP3 files to an external Finder folder, organized in Artist/Album hierarchy
c)     Delete the MP3 files from the itunes library so as to have just the apple lossless version maintain in the itunes library
Sounds pretty simple, but I'm having a devil of a time trying to figure it out.
I can find a way to do the conversion and export the MP3 files (and subsequently deleted from the itunes library), but they will not be organized by Artist/Album in the Finder folder.
Similarly, I can export a bunch of files from itunes to a Finder folder and have it be organized by Artist/Album.
I just can't do one followed by the other.
I suppose this would also work if instead of exporting the newly created MP3 files, it would establish a new playlist in itunes with these. Then, I could just export them and have them then organized by Artist/Album; and then I could delete all of the MP3 files in the playlist.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to accomplish this goal? (I do know the manual way of doing this, but am trying to figure out a faster, more elegant way).

You can. Just do one followed by the other.
Convert the files to mp3.
Put them all into a playlist. A smart playlist with Kind is MP3 and added in last one day will do it for you.
Select the songs in teh smart playlist
Run Export to Album Folders script.
Select all the songs in the playlist then Command Delete to remove them from iTunes.

Record an action starting with your adjustments on top, with all of the adjustment layers selected.
1 - Duplicate the adjustment layers
2 - Select backward layer (alt-[)
3 - Select backward layer with add (alt-shift-[)
4 - Repeat step 3 as many times as needed (for three adjustments this would be twice more)
5 - Merge layers
6 - Select forward layer (alt-])
7 - Select forward layer with add (alt-shift-])
8 - Repeat 7 as needed (for three adjustments it would be once more)
9 - Move to previous layer (ctrl-[)
Then run it 100 times. Or duplicate these steps a few times and run the 5-up action 20 times. To retain the original layer name, you could dupe the image layer, and move the original to the top of the stack (alt-] a few times) about to be merged and reduce its opacity to 0%. The basic idea is to use alt-], alt-shift-] and ctrl-] to navigate around, and record an action that gets you can to square 1, except that your adjustments have been dropped down to the next layer below.
You could also export layers to files, batch them by adding and merging the adjustment layers, and then loading them back into the stack. Or use pixel replacement variables to do much the same thing.

Merging 2 rpd makes the Datasource and BMM layers gets duplicated

I am trying to merge two RPD. To be specific I am trying to merge the 'procurement' RPD which gets generated when you only install the 'procurement' in OBIA with our production RPD which has 'Finance' and 'Supply Chain' already.
The new catalogs of 'procurement' RPD gets added up in the 'Merged' RPD but the Datasource and BMM layers gets duplicated.
Appreciate any pointers which can resolve the issue...

I corrected the OLAP_USER and OLAP_DSN value of the 'Procurement' RPD to be same as my 'PRODUCTION RPD' . Also I updated the conection pool password to be in sync with the Production RPD.
I tried 2-way and 3-way merge.
Still both times I am getting duplicate Datasource and BMM with a #.
Am I missing something? Please help.

I am trying to figure out how to get data from a file, database, or program and use that information in another program. Can you help please?
I have looked through several texts and while the information is there somewhere I have not found the specific capabilities or examples that explain how to do this.
I want to learn how to do this with objects.
The specific applications I am working with are the GIS (Geographic Information System) suite of ESRI products such as ArcInfo and ArcView.
I am working with simulators for hydrologeology (ground water) and other geophysical phenomenae. Programs for decisions and assessment of probability such as found in geostatistical analyses packages. Drawing programs and data manipulation programs such as spreadsheets in windows and scripting languages found in most Unix packages.
I want to be proprietary platform free! I want to be accessing apps and or data wherever they are and in whichever form they are in or best used.
Web techniques and protocols are where I think most of my effort will be focused.
One of the mediums (media) that I expect to use a lot is XML.
If I can find a simplified (generalized) explanation how this is done and how the parts fit together through and or with objects. If I can find references to texts and examples I will be very appreciative and very much less confused.
I am interested in using the Java programming language.

I have a stepper motor (8SMC1-USBhF) and a power meter (PM100D). I want to measure the power while the stepper motor is moving, and obtain an XY graph with the current position on x axis and the power on y axis. So I just merged the two VIs together by copying and pasting, and created local variables for current position and readout value, and changed them to read, and then linked them to the XY graph, but apparently it doesnt work.
So could you please instruct me how to merge them and obtain an XY graph appropriately?

Hello,
The XY graph requires that each datapoint on the X axis corresponds to a datapoint on the Y axis. To create XY data you will need to creat two arrays of X data and Y data with the same amount of elements then cluster the two arrays together to wire into the XY graph. As an example take a look at the VI snippet below. Is there a specific error being thrown?

How to merge two conflicting contacts?
When syncing my iPhone w/ my Mac laptop, it seems that Apple does not provide an option that allows you to merge the data from two conflicting contacts. For example, you have a contact on your iPhone for Andy Summer and a contact on your laptop for Andy Summers - one contact contains only Andy's name and email address, the other contact contains only Andy's name and his mailing address. I'd like to be able to merge the data from these two contacts into one and save it to both, but the Conflict Resolver in the syncing program (I think it's in iTunes) does not offer an option for merging the two.
Does anyone have any knowledge about 1) how to merge data from two conflicting contacts, or 2) some other way to keep the data from each so that I don't have to choose one over the other?

First of all,You need to make teaming on both the interfaces on the server side.Which mode do you want to use? Active-Active or Active-Standby.
Server side :Active-Active - You need to configure the switch side to be a etherchannel/LACP. It can be done by the commands on the cisco 4006.
Server side :Active-Standby - You need nothing to do at the switch side.
Note: Seems PAGP is a proprietary of cisco. Server shouldn't know that. To be bound with mode "on" of "lacp" should be fine. It depends on the server side as well.

Check this:
Create your own gui status and attach it to the list in the event START-OF-SELECTION.
In the menu painter extra -> adjust template.
Make it a list status and you will see all the standard list options appear including list->download
Deactivate the ones you don't want.
If you just want to prevent users from downloading the list you can achieve this with authorization object S_GUI, activity 61. Menu option will still be there though.
Please note that if you remove authorisation for S_GUI activity 61 then all downloads will not be possible.
If you just want to disable downloads only for a particular report, you can try this test program:

How to retrieve characters like '£' from the database and write to xml file

I have a requirement to retrieve the data from database and write to files in XML format.
I am able to do so successfuly by using XMLElement tag and writing to file through UTL_File package.
All characters like <&@^ get converted properly, but when it comes to multibyte chars like '£', they are not able to get converted as it is.
Can somebody please advise me how to go ahead.

The nls_charset for my database is WE8ISO8859P1 and database version is Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64bi.
The data (with pound sign) is sitting in one of the columns of the table and when i query it directly, I am able to view it properly.
However when I use the below code to retrieve in XML format and print it to file, it gets changed. This file is also passed to one of the application GUI where this XML gets processsed and it is not visible properly.

The comments column given contains the character like pound.
And once the file is generated and i see using the vi editor, the char is not viewable properly like Â£
And when the same is passed to GUI application to be processed, its not viewable propely in GUI from IE as well like �.
