How to migrate old Sync (Weave) account/login to the new Sync service?

I can login fine here...

But before I did, it said I must use this page if I have FF29 or newer:

I tried to enter the u/n + pwd that's always worked, but it says I must use an email address.
No idea what email address is associated with my account...
But when I was logged into the old sync site above, I noticed it said: "Welcome, email address (Sign out)".
So I tried that email address + my password on the new site, but still it didn't work.
Where to from here?
N.B. as far as I can tell Sync is still working fine within FF 30 itself (OS X).

yes, there's no migration path, the new account system also doesn't come with a local recovery key but only uses email & your chosen password to grant access - you could delete the old account and start with a new one.
since the purpose of sync already is merging all the changes from other devices into your local firefox profile it really won't make much difference if you obliterate the old account. all the important synced data is already stored locally in your profile and will be transferred to the new account this way...

You can't merge accounts or copy content to a different account, so anything that you bought or downloaded via the old account is tied to that account - so any updates that those apps get you will only be able to download via that account. You can change which account is logged in on the iPad via Settings > Store

How do I make my old user account perform like the new one?

I have a macbook pro 13" 2008 with 8 gb of ram that has been showing stuttering in hd video lately (or maybe when i upgraded to lion). I created another user and it doesn't seem to suffer any stuttering. Perhaps it doesn't have weird things running the background like the 655mb kernal task I see in activity monitor. My question is, how do I make my old user account perform like the new one? I've tried to turn off things running the background, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Thanks!

I do believe this is not possible to be done. Although there are some alternatives. Change your password to something nobody will guess (you will not need to remember this) then logout. Before you do this remove all credit card details and other personal information. After doing the you can leave the Apple ID without wording about personal info being stolen. After you have done this you can create another Apple ID of you wish.

You can change the primary email address on an account by logging into it via the 'manage your apple id' button on http://appleid.apple.com, or via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and logging into it.
You won't be able to change it to an email address that is being used an alternate or rescue email address on the account (they can be viewed/changed/removed via http://appleid.apple.com), nor to one that is currently being used as the primary email address on an account

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPad and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your Mac. I also apologize, I am a bit unclear in exactly what context you are seeing these error messages (what you were doing at the time), or what the exact error message text is. There is a way to reset Sync Services and re-enable the various sync-related settings afterwards (as outlined in the below article), but Sync Services is only used for very specific (and limited) purposes in OS X 10.10 Yosemite:
OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 or later use Sync Services only to exchange contact and calendar data with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices over USB when using iTunes 11.2 or later. SyncServices is not used to synchronize data with Exchange, iCloud or other services listed in the Internet Accounts pane of System Preferences in OS X Mavericks.

I'm not sure I understand the question, is the message tone going more then once?
Turn off repeat message alert here:
settings > notifications > messages > repeat alert > never
Some people have found this does not stop the repeat miessage tone,
if you are one of those then I suggest you contact Apple:

How can I get my POP account showing in the inbox it's supposed to show in?

Hi-Until a couple of weeks ago all mail received from my IMAP and POP accounts would show up in the correct mailboxes in my Mail inbox list. (Only problem then was that sent mail would never show up in the sent mail folder--always stayed in the inbox.)
Now a new problem has happened----unless I go directly to my charter cable account (P0P account) to retrieve any mail sent to that particular address, the mail goes unnoticed by Mail on my MAC and nothing shows up in the inbox. But--- If I do a test to myself , sending an email to the POP address from my IMAP account from my MAcMAil, my IMAP account will show the email in the inbox of the IMAP account I sent it from as if I'd mailed it to that account. How can I get my POP account showing in the Inbox? And, any suggestions for a fix to getting the "sent" mail to show in the "sent" folder would also be appreciated.
