How to migrate Open Directory from 10.6 to another server with 10.8?

Hello all,
I have a Mac Pro running Mac OS X Server 10.6.8 with Open Directory active. Now I bought a new Mac Pro running MAC OS 10.8 and I also bought the OS X Server app.
What I want to know is how can I migrate the users and their home folders from old server with Snow Leopard to the new one? The Open Directory Archive does this job?

Ok. I did a test and I saw that it exports only the information account. So I suppose that I have to copy the home folder using scp or something similar. Is that correct?
I also have to keep the same hostname from the old server in the new server or this can be done in a different way?

I ran all of them
First Command , it works very well and its removed the exchange attribute

Second command
$DomCtrlr = "DCNAME"
$MailContacts = Import-Csv E:\MailContacts.csv
$UserContacts = Import-Csv E:\UserContacts.csv
after running the above command, I copied below on note pad and saved as .PS1 , as per your advise I make sure that starting with new-mailcontact and below 2 are is same line and Executed the ps1 script.
Scipt rans but didnt give me any error mesage.

I have written a report on my Test version of SBO and need to migrate it to the customers site but cant see a method of exporting/Importing a User Report

There is two ways, you can either copy it over......but sometimes all the alignment goes off.
Or you can use the query SAP have given in a note. I do not remember the note number. But here is an extract of the note. I use this query often and have kept this extract one side. It only copies the layouts that do not exist in the destination company. Here is the extract.
An SQL query can be used to copy documents from one database to another, however the following conditions must be met:
1. Only edited documents with a doccode (the template primery key), which does not exist in the destination database, will be copied.
2. It is necessary to backup source and destination databases before running the query!!!
3. Both databases must share the same localization and the same version!!!
4. Select "Start" -> "Programs" -> "Microsoft SQL Server" -> "Query Analyzer" and run the following query:
Replace SOURCE with the source database name.
Replace DEST with the destination database name.
insert into [DEST].[dbo].[RDOC]
select [SOURCE].[dbo].[RDOC].*
from
[SOURCE].[dbo].[RDOC],[DEST].[dbo].[cinf],[SOURCE].[dbo].[cinf]

Only DTW is a legitimated way to achieve your goal.
You may run some queries from existing 2007B db as
SELECT * from OPOR WHERE DocStatus = 'O'
SELECT * from POR1 WHERE DocEntry in (SELECT Distinct DocEntry FROM OPOR WHERE DocStatus = 'O')
Then check the needed columns to DTW.

Urg req: Migration of data from 1 category to another - Error with 5 files

Gurus,
I am trying to migrate the data from one content category to another and it woks just fine with the standard sap report:DMS_RELOCATE_CONTENT.
We moved all the documents except 5 files, when we use the report for the DIR's the content server shuts down automatically.
I tried to read the file from SAP (CV03N) and the same thing happens. Can anyone pls suggest any solution for the issue. If we can atleast read the file we can check it into other content category manually but the challange here is to know what is causing the content server to be down.

could it be that you have also raised a SAP support message on this issue? Because I remember this kind of scenario and I forwarded a support message to the Content Server experts some days ago. At the moment the Content Server development team is analysing the issue.
So if this is you message I would kindly ask you to wait for the reply of the development expert. Otherwise please tell me so I can update you with the findings too.

Migrating Open Directory from ML to Maverick

Has anyone tried migrating OD from Mountation Lion to Maverick without resetting the existing passwords . Please provide the steps.

Nope. You are correct that when an OD database is created, the IP of the master is encoded inside the database. But you can think of it as just an attempt at making a unique tag. It's not necessary for any computer with that IP address to actually be involved in the OD tree. These days they'd probably have used an unique GUID instead of assuming that the IP address was going to be useful.
I think your idea of an archive and restore on the new computer should work fine. Make sure that the OD tree (master, slave, etc.) is set up correctly. Make sure your client computers are given the IP address of the new server. Make sure you do not create a new OD database on the old master computer, because then you'll have two different databases with the same key, which would be confusing.
And, of course, back up entire hard disks of servers before trying anything. Good luck.

How to migrate some page from a workspace to another workspace

I have 2 workspaces, the one regard as Dev env, another regard as Pro. env.
When the change need to be migrated, the some page of Dev workspace should be copy to Pro. one. I export the pages what I want to move from Dev., then try to import it into Pro. but I get the error as below:
Page Origin: This page was exported from a different application or from an application in different workspace. Page cannot be installed in this application. Is there a better way to resolve? I don't want to copy the page one by one.

if you want data of specific module to be transported to different version then you can use BDC,LSMW or BAPI for the transactions of that module according to your requirement.

If you took those photos with the iPad, the easiest way is to use Photo Stream. If you have it activated on the old iPad, just open Photos > Streaming (on your new iPad), press the Edit button, select the photos you want to transfer and transfer them to the new iPad).

Create a parameter (object navigator -> parameters) with the name client_name and you can access that value in your client info form using :PARAMETER.client_name.
P.S. while calling you can pass parameter using 'cilent_name =>' to make sure that the correct parameter is getting assigned to the value.
