How to modify a default report in ByDesign / Time series?

Hello everybody,
I am currently working with the HR Dashboard - Employee Time (HCMTLMU01_Q0010) and I am facing a problem with the time series <Year to date>. Actually, this is a problem for all reports with Time Series.
I would like to know if it is possible to delete the Time Series from a default report? Because I cannot find how to do it.
I could also do what I want in another way, by modifying the format of the Time Series. Is it possible or not?
Like changing it from an interval to a fixed date, but keeping the behavior of the criteria from start of the year to current date. But I cannot find how to it neither.
Are these actions possible or I have to go back to the original data sources used by this reports and create my own?
Even if I doubt creating the same report "just" without the time series is not as easy as it sounds.

also can you explain what is the difference between the unit that are used.
the entry screen asks for frames, but if you look at the duration in the effects
edit window the units appear to be min.sec.micros.

Hi,
I wanted to update time series keyfigures using Default macros. For example, i wanted to populate safety stock in a time series keyfigure while i'm running the heuristics in background.
Whole idea of doing it is to do reporting i.e. we couldnot extract safety stock because its an auxialiary key figure.
If someone has done this on a better way, can you please share with me?
And also i wanted to know whether default macros work with time series key figures.
Any help is rewarded with pionts.

I think i'm not clear on what i have posted so let make it very clear abt my scenario.
We wanted to do reporting on SNP planning area, where we take report on
Safety stock, Stock on hand which are auxialiry key figures currently.
As we cannot extract data on auxialiry key figures, we wanted to track
those information on Time series key figures.For that, we have modified
the macros and copied the auxialiry key figures into time series key
figures. All the macros are Default macros, all the prerquisites are been set and all other macros which are supposed to run before this macro, also been set.
We are not running the bcakground jobs for this macros ( exclusively), instead we are running the heuristics in background and we assume that all the default macros will get executed once the heuristics is done i.e values in auxialiry key figures are been copied to time series key figures.
Now we found out that Times series key figures are not getting updated
using Default macros.
Nowi think i make you all clear. Somehow my questions are still not answered.
1. Without running background jobs seperately for macros, will time series key figures get updated?

How to modify a default transition?

how to do you change the values for the default transition?
for exmple, i want to apply a cross dissolve to a series of clips. but i want to change
the duration of the cross-dissolve before i apply this transition.
i can see how to edit a single instance of the transition, but i cannot see how to change
that for all instances.

How to modify Standard ALV Report

Hello All,
I have a standard report which displays the data in ALV Grid. This data can also be exported to Excel sheet. I have got an FBI assignment where I have to add some new fields besides the existing ones. Could you please provide me with some documents oe explain me in brief how to modify any standard ALV report.

Can't you just add the fields with the layout option in the tcode ?? with other words are all the fields selected in that particular layout the programm comes up with
if the fields can't be selected a quick sollution can be to make a query with SQ01

Web Sheets - how to delete a default report

I have created a websheet data grid with a primary and a few other default reports. I cannot seem to be able to delete a report once created, any hints? checked the OBE and didn't see it, only how to create, not delete report.

Thank you so much for the quick response. Here is the deal, I have a APEX application that is ready to be rolled out across John Fowlers Sun Systems division. It simply tracks source code deposite for all Systems releases to Oracle Manufacturing, this is a legal requirement.
The tool is ready but I am having a very confusing time trying to get the reports to work and get published correctly. I really appreciate your help, I am sure I am just missing a couple items.
So I have added you to the workspace as admin. The workspace is : ESCROW TRACKING APPLICATION
What I am trying to do is delete report number 5. I cannot find the red x you are referring to, please provide exact navigation steps.
I am also trying to add a section to the home page that has a table report. The home page will have two reports, the primary and then an alternative default report which is a table summary with some aggregates and colomn groupings.
The issue is APEX allows me to add the section and the data report and it looks good, the problem is when other uses log in they see the section but it only has a search bar, the actual table does not get displayed.
If easier I can schedule a 20 minute webconference to go over this.
I am emailing you screen shots for all the items above
really appreciate the help!!

FP-CTR-500 and Frequency Measurement: How to modify it to report the frequency (0-10 Hz) every one minute?

How to modify "Frequency Measurement" to report the frequency every one minute?
The signal frequencies vary from 0 to 10 Hz (see the analog output plot and attached sample data file), so I want record the average frequency every one minute.
Software: Labview 8.5
Hardware: FP-CTR-500
Program: "Frequency Measurement" --build in and under "NI example finder", It was attached with this message.
Physical wiring: (1) The signal I want to measure to count input 1 (pins 2 and 18). it is a pulse signal (range from 0 to 1 V, see the plot and attached data file).
(2) Wire Output 0 (pin 130 to gate 0 (pin 9). Do com pins 26 and 30 need to wire together?
FP-CTR-5000 was set up in Max based on the program instructions. I have tried different gating pulse frequency, my readings are always "0".

CTR-500 high pulse is >=10V. Hence, it always read your pulse as low. With this low voltage pulse, you must use analog input module, and write a program to read pulse from analog level. You must also make sure that you pulse is not so narrow that cFP loop is not fast enough to capture voltage change.

Modifying "restore defaults" values on X-Fi series cards?

Sometimes my sound card loses the values I have given it and audio won't work. No amount of tweaking seems to fix it until I restore to the default values in the Audio Control Panel. I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the default values. I would like to change them to the values I always end up setting them to anyway so I can just reset the values when it messes up without any need to configure settings in each tab.

If installed, the sound of Mp3 with CMSS-3D in Sourround Mode on is fantastic and everything works like a charm for several hours.
Than the channels are changing the Speaker and the sound begins to scratch. It s terrible now and it is inpossible to hear any Music with CMSS-3D in Sourround Mode on. If I try the speaker setup in windows or the creative speaker setup and I click on rear left, I hear the sound of the setup on rear left and rear right at the same time even though I shoul here the sound only from the speaker I clicked on. If so, a fix with a restart is not guaranteed.
It seems to help to use parts of a driver of one of your older packs.
I don`t know, if this problem consists other X-Fis too because I only have the SB550 or is this the reason of the missing of X-Fi Elite Pro in your description?

if you should have a similar error and you have an ATI Graphics Card, please try the following. Open the Event Viewer and look for ACEEventLogSource in Information . If there are hundreds of messages, open the task manager and disable Catalyst Control Center Launch in Startup. In most cases, the CCC is no longer needed, once it is set up and you don`t overclock the card. Restart. For me it solved the problems and the Sound is great with my Linn Majik 6 channels power amplifier. The CCC error is quite common. I do not know if it helps to disable the CCC even if you have any error messages. Give it a try :-)

we got oracle 6i report server for developing the web based reports for our undergoing product. we r succesed in developing the web based reports using oracle 6i report server.But we r facing problems while deploying the product with oracle reports at clients place,why because the client does not have the oracle 6i report server. To solve this problem we have to configure the oracle 6i report server run time component with application server at client side , but we are unable to configure this component(that is CGI handler).

You can run multiple instances of Reports Server in 6i.
In tnsnames.ora, for each server, have a different name and each listening to different port.
For example,
server1.world = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(Host = myhost.mydomain.com)(Port = 1949))
server2.world = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(Host = myhost.mydomain.com)(Port = 1950))

How to modify the default settings of the Table View

Hi,
I saw that in the Coloum Properties Popup under the tab Column Format I have 2 different option (and one default) for the "Value Suppression". I have to check the "Repeat" choice for each report I've done, but, of course, I don't wanna do it manually ...I could get crazy!!
Is there any way to set the "Repeat" option as default?

the mail send by webmail will enter the channel from
"tcp_intranet" by default,could i change these mail

1. Create a new smtp listen on another port. This is done in the dispatcher.cnf Associate this port with whatever new channel you like.
2. Set webmail to connect to that port.
3. Create your new channel, say, "tcp_webmail" in imta.cnf
4. Add rewrite rules, similar to the tcp_intranet rules that are already there.
run:
imsimta cnbuild
imsimta restart
when you're done editing the files.

How to compile 600 d2k reports at a time.

I have done import oracle database 8i in new server, how I can recompile reports developed in oracle d2k at a sigle go.
as it is very tedious to compile one by one and time consuming everytime i import database. without recomile the reports does not work.

How do I set default colors for XY chart series (lines and legend)

I am implementing a line chart and need to override the default (caspian style) colors for the line colors and the legend symbols. I'm not displaying the chart symbols themselves as that would make the chart look bad. I've been able to successfully set the default colors for the lines via the CSS below, but cannot find a way to do the same for the series symbols that appear in the chart legend. How do I do this? Thanks.

How to Modify multiple users at the same time.

Hi All,
I oversee a lab with 8 24" imacs running 10.4. Each machine has the same set of guest user accounts. The machines are not connected by a actual server, although I can dump files to a common folder. My problem is every time I want to make system pref changes I have to go into each user account to apply them, (i.e.,adding a new monitor profile). Any ideas or work-arounds out there?

How to properly use H-T-D Dynamic Time Series Function

Our Period Dimension goes like default
Period
-Year Total

etc..
Now when I set up HTD (lack of any explanation on the Documentation)
I put the generation to Level 2. The function pretty much does what YTD does, sums up the total for hte year given the current month. What we want to try and accomplish is get values summed from the very first data saved to the current datal current. Now this can't happen since years are in a differnet dimension. So my main question is. Is this possible to do? and what is the main function of H-T-D? Thank you.

HTD or History to date is meant for when you have a single time dimension with multiple years in it. If your outline liiked something like
Years
2008
2008-q1
2008-jan
2008-feb
2008-mar
2008-Q4
2008-Dec
2009
etc
You could use set up qtd, ytd and htd and get totald for each.
In your case if Years is in a separate dimension from periods, you would have to roll your own as formulas on created members. in either the period or year dimension (I'll guess the years dimension) where you add from my example 2008->period +( range of jan to the current member) look at sumrange and currmbrrange functions

How do I add moving averages to my time series graph is there a function on numbers on tr iMac?

I've created a time series graph on numbers on my iMac but I need to add moving averages. Is there a function an if so where is it and if not is there a way to get around it

Here is an example plot, data sorted from most recent data at top of the table...
You can see the moving average (of 20) is plotted from right to left.
The Moving Average calculation is now wrong, and should have been calculated and presented from oldest to most recent.
Here is the same data, with table sorted from oldest data at the top of the table.
The moving average is also plotted from right to left, and shows the correct Moving Average for the most recent data.
That is, it is calculated from oldest to most recent, with the last Moving Average data point plotted on "todays" date.
What I want to see is my table displayed from most recent at the top (the top table), and moving average calculated and displayed as per the bottom graph.
Edit: So, think about this some more,
I need an option to tell Numbers to do the Moving Average calculation from the bottom of the table up, not from the top of the table down.

SCCM 2012 SSRS modify default reporting Link

We have a requirement in SCCM 2012 reporting to change the default reporting link (http://netbiosname/reports ) to (http://fqdn/reports ) , the reason is users from
a different domain are not able to access the link with NetBIOS name when the link is sent to them from a report subscription.
How do we modify the default reporting link to show with FQDN instead of NetBIOS name ?

We have tried to add the FQDN on the SQL SSRS - restarted SQL reporting services - restarted IIS - restarted SMS service , but still the FQDN report link wont show up on the SCCM console.
Also tried to make changes in SSRS config file but now luck.

Please add the FQDN as the screenshot below and remove the existing one. Reinstall the Reporting Services Point after add the FQDN.
