How to modify Bridge CS6 default sub-folder date format while importing?

How could I modify Bridge CS6 default sub-folder date format when we are importing images from a connected camera? Default format for shooting date is aaaammjj. I would like instead aaaa_mm_jj. How could I add "_" to the date format?

You only can do so after the import process using a third party app called A better finder Rename, originally designed for Mac but they seem to have a Windows version also:

Under "contacts" "Groups" I have the "All Contacts" option at the top, underneath that i have 3 empty subfolders that have come in from my PC Outlook program. Not interested in jailbreaking or using apps that require jailbreak -- Want to do this with a new phone.

Browse in Adobe Bridge CS6 - default to 64-bit version

I have Adobe Bridge CS6 32-bit and 64-bit installed. I prefer to use the 64-bit version, but whenever I right-click a folder in Windows Explorer and choose 'Browse in Adobe Bridge CS6', the 32-bit version always opens. How can I make this default to the 64-bit version? There doesn't seem to be a way to uninstall the 32-bit version.

Edit your System Registry on:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\Bridge
Change the path that is pointing at 32bit version and set it to point at the location of 64bit version:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge CS6 (64 Bit)\Bridge.exe "%L"

I can no longer double click an image in Adobe Bridge and have it open in my Photoshop CS6 program. It takes me to your new Photoshop CC 2014 15.2.2 program which I do not have. How do I make CS6 the default program so I can once again double click on an image in Adobe Bridge and have it open in CS6?

If you launch Photoshop CS6 by itself, do you get this offer?
If that's case, click on License this Product, sign in if asked, then use the serial number option. Enter your serial number and Photoshop should be back to its' old CS6 self.
Photoshop CS6 sometimes goes into Trial mode and shows the CC offerings. No worries.

How to reinstall Bridge CS6?

After severe trouble with Bridge CS6 (did not start up anymore) I decided to uninstall and reinstall it to get rid of the problems.
But, how can I reinstall Bridge since it is not listed in the Apllication Manager?

Only simple applications can be done so but then all other info written to libraries like prefs and presets are still on your machine.
Since you are both on a Mac can you both specify your machine (type, RAM, free disk space left and OS version)
To clarify
I'm on a MacPro with 32 GB RAM and SSD having always at least 25 % free and a separate scratch disk for PS dedicated.
Using 10.8.3 I have CS6 via Creative Cloud and also Indesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro and Acrobat Pro installed without any problems.
You can uninstall using the official uninstallers that are either in the parent application folders or in the Utilities folder / Adobe installers, inhere are all uninstallers.
Once thing have been messed up the fastest way is to back up all important settings (presets, keywords, actions and all other customized settings and third party plug ins)
Then use the uninstallers combined with deleting prefs and use the Adobe Cleaner tool (read the instruction before starting to uninstall) The clean tool removes most preferences and settings left but there will be still some files left on your system.
Mostly user library preferences and application support.
You can check your self or use 'easy find' (free search engine from Devon) to get other left overs from Adobe visible.
Then do system maintenance with check and repair disk permissions and finally install CS6 again.

Update on this issue:
Concerning Ps CS6 seizing Dominance:
I did try UNinstalling and then re-installing Ps CC 14.00 but Ps CS6 still retained "Dominance" (meaning that it was impossible to change System Permissions to recognise that all PSDs should always be opened from the Finder in Ps CC).
Finally I uninstalled Ps CS6 from this HD and now CC has established "Dominance".
Bridge CS6 was NOT removed from my HD when I uninstalled Ps CS6. (You need to keep Bridge CS6 until Adobe replaces the the AOM Panel in Bridge CC.)
Also, choosing the Default File Associations in Bridge CC, now correctly sets all Photoshop-related Associations to Ps CC instead of Ps CS6.

How can I change the default save folder in MP Navigator for saved scans?

I am using MP Naqvigator with my Canon MP600 multifunction device and saving to an external drive is clunky because each time I save a document I have to browse to the device and the destination folder. I have tried to find a way of setting the default save folder from /users/myname/pictures/mpnavigator to volumes/drivename/foldername so that it speeds up the process. I've looked at all of the preferences files for the MP600 in the application and support libraries but can't see any reference to that default path. I'd be very grateful for any solutions from other Canon users.

It should still work the same way. I changed mine in either Snow Leopard or Lion and it remains the way i Changed it in Mountain Lion.

I was told by Adobe Tech support that I have a perpetual license to DW6 but only a 30 day trial license to Bridge (did not specify version) so apparently it is NOT included with Dreamweaver.

The Photoshop CS6 perpetual version comes with Bridge and is still available from Adobe. You cannot buy Bridge separately nor can you install it by itself.
It does come for free with Photoshop and with the Creative Suite (because the suite includes Photoshop).
Bridge started out as Photoshop's File Browser, nothing more, and it has bin jerry-rigged to work with other applications of the suite. It remains only a file browser, nothing more, and not a very robust one at that.

you want to query all folders and sub folders of a list or document library, you have to define extra query options. If you are working with the object model you have to set the
ViewAttributes property of the SPQuery object as follows:

Bridge CS6 occasionally displaying wrong 'Date Created' for .NEF's

I noticed this problem only recently, and this the third time it happens (that I know of).
Sometimes my Bridge puts a wrong Date Created (not Date File Created or Date File Modified) on a NEF RAW file, whilst the next one (taken perhaps just a few seconds or a minute later) has the proper date. Strangely the Date File Created & Modified do show the proper creation date.
Example to clarify:

As you can see, it's not a 'stable' deviation.
I could live with it, apart from one problem: the batch rename function only has 'Date Created' as option for renaming with date.
It's also quite annoying for my photography study, since my teachers might get confused by the wrong date in the Metadata when I turn my photo in.
I tried compacting the cache whilst my camera's SD card wasn't connected (so the files aren't 'available' anymore), no difference.
Another thing I tried was to hook my SD card up on a different computer, same result.
So it might be my SD card, but that doesn't explain why the correct date is shown on my D90 itself, though.
If anybody here has an idea how to fix / avoid this problem, help is much appreciated.

I have never inserted the 8GB card in the D3000 before just a minute ago.
And I just took 7 rapid photo's of my previous post (~1s interval)
All 7 displayed actual date in my camera, the first 4 displayed a wrong date in bridge (24/09/2013, times; 2:12:16PM, 2:12:20PM, 3:09:24PM and 3:10:26PM). Last 3 displayed proper time in bridge.
So yea, I'm pretty sure something is wrong. I'll try formatting the SD card (as suggested before) but however you look at it, this doesn't add up.

Well I figured out one thing: if I view the photo's directly on my SD card through bridge, it shows the same date for Date Created, Date File Created and Date File Modified.
Quite logical, to be honest, since I am viewing the date the file was created on the camera.
However, if I export photo's with Adobe Photo Downloader (or whatever it's called again), it displays the date those copies were created (by Date File Created). Date File Modified is still ~the same as Date Created since it hasn't been modified since the original creation.

The formatting seems to have solved the issue, for now anyway. Still have no clue why the SD card got such (occasional) cases of drunkness.

I don't think this is possible. The dateField has a default validator on it which determines the date format, changing the dateFormatContext won't change the validator.

Auditing access of shared folder will show you : who deleted shared folder data.
You can follow below steps :
Open Group Policy Editor by typing gpedit.msc to Start menu's search field or Run dialog window and hit Enter.
Go to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies Audit Policy, double click to open Audit Object Access.

How do I get Numbers to recognise my date formatting?

I have my date format set in system preferences to YYYY MM DD.
But Numbers seems to ignore this and only offers up its own list of possible formats, the best of which is MM DD.
Also I wish time to be expressed as a 24hr clock eg 0745 for "Quarter to 8 AM". I can't find where this is set and unless I make the format "Text" it keeps taking the leading zero off.
How do I overcome these?

You can't overcome these unless you enter your dates and times as text, or are willing to enter your data in one cell but display it in another. That at least would allow you to perform date and time calculations on the 'data entry' cells, but display the results the way you like.
For instance, to display a date as YYYY MM DD you might enter the date in cell B2 and put the year, month and day in cells C2,D2 and E2 with these formulas.
C2=Year(B2)
D2=IF(LEN(MONTH(B2))=1,"0"&MONTH(B2),MONTH(B2))
E2=IF(LEN(DAY(B2))=1,"0"&DAY(B2),DAY(B2))
The D2 and E2 formulas are lengthy in order to display a leading zero.
If you need to display the date in a single cell, use this formula in cell F2 (or wherever):
=C2&" "&D2&" "&E2
If your date is entered in B3, display it with a leading zero with this formula in C3:
=IF(LEN(B3)<5,"0"&LEFT(B3,1)&RIGHT(B3,2),LEFT(B3,2)&RIGHT(B3,2))
This assumes the 'data entry' cell for the time value is formatted to as 24 hour time (24:00) without the seconds display (24:00:00).
You can also send feedback to Apple asking for/suggesting or demanding these format options.
