  • How to modify Data Template  ARXSGPO.xml

We are on EBS 12.1.1. My client want to customize AR Customer Balance Statement Letter. They need rtf to be modified as well as some additional info for which I need to modify Data Template ARXSGPO.xml .
But I am not able to modify above xml file. Update File button has been disabled. Could someone tell me how I can update existing xml file ?
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi
You could use the XDOLoader command to upload data templates.
    http://bipublisher.blogspot.com/2008/01/bi-publisher-xdo-loader.html
But it would be better if you could create a custom report and attach the new date template, instead of modifying the standard report.

  • How to control workflow template id during creating?

    Hi, expert
I am creating new workflow templates. But the workflow template id isn't in sequence.
    For example,
      the existing workflow template is 7XX000001, 7XX000002, 7XX000003 .... 7XX000016.
When I create a new one the workflow template id is 7XX008569.
It is a big issue, but you know, it really makes reader uncomfortable.
The same issue exists in workflow task id.
Do you have any good idea to make sure the new workflow template id is 7XX000017.
    Thank you in advance,
    Barton

    Hi, Jay. Hi,  Pavan.
Thanks for your kindly and quick answer.
7XX is the PREFIX numbers, and it is statable. Do it means almost 8000 workflows are created and deleted?
If I am sure 7XX00017 isn't avaible NO. , is it possible that I assign it to my new workflow, you know, by default, system will assign a 7xx081?? for it.
    Thanks,
    Barton

  • How to modify a template and use both old/new in the same library without interference

OK first Thank you for reading this and hopefully being able to help me out. I got dumped this project on my desk to update two different templates already published in
share point(2010) years ago. The original developer left the company 4 years ago. Since then anyone that tried to do anything with them made a big mess. I have done some heavy reading and am stuck on few issues.
Please note the templates were created IP 2007 and I will be using IP 2007 to modify them. The temples have a small amount of C# that does not have to be changed. There is also a digital signature linked to them.
After some heavy reading this week. I figured that I need to edit the template from Share point(2010)/IP(2007) and not copy the templates to a different location laptop/desktop
because that will ruin the digital signature. There is also a large volume of submitted forms from these temples. The new version of the temples will be heavily modified deleting rolls columns changing names. My understanding is that since I want to keep the
old submitted forms the way they are and still use the old template to open them. I would need a second version of the original template with all the visual modification to still use the original template's C# digital signatures and any other file that runs
    in the background.
    The plan:
1)Turn off the automatic update to forms/template when a new version of the template is created.
    2) Copy the existing template (.xsn) file to a new document folder in share point(same network).
    3) Change the name of the .XSN file that I copied and modify it??????????? Will keeping the same name interfere with the old template/C# digital signature ect? I would like to change to something like SameName_version_2015 for example. or will changing the
name cut the link to the old C# digital signature? or will it get modify the background files and break the old template/submitted files.
    4) Publish the new template in share point.
    5) Change the data connection to a new directory that I wish to submit all files.
Please advice am I missing anything? and help me understand my step 3 better. Also I would love to get a better understanding of how i can backup and recover everything. Do I simple copy unmodified .XSN files somewhere and publish them if things goes wrong?
Do I need to backup anything else?
I am open to options if I can create a test folder in the share point for safety.
Once again THANK YOU for trying to help.

    Hi, thanks for the reply!
Just to follow up for what we did to disable the delete function for maintaining table records. We hided the Delete button by adding a "MODULE disable_delete" code in Screen Painter. So now only adding records to the table is allowed.
    Thanks,
    Jenny

  • In search of assistance learning how to modify the mail message from an out of the box SP2010 approval workflow.

So, I have found the article
http://punaro.com/2012/01/derek/modifying-a-sharepoint-2010-workflow-email/comment-page-1/ which appears to walk through the process of modifying an out of the box workflow's mail message.
However, there is a basic problem that I run into before I get started.
I am logged into the system as a regular user (ie not a farm admin, etc.).
I do, however, have full control on the site on which I am working.
    I create a custom list.
I create a simple one step approval - sharepoint 2010 out of the box workflow.
I start SharePoint designer and give it the URL of the list. It opens up and I see the various objects on the left side of the screen.
I click right on the Workflows object - which is where the article says I will find the ability to copy and modify the workflow.
All I see is "open", "open in a new tab" and "Pin".
I selecdt open in a new tab - and I get a blank screen labeled workflows that says "There are no items to show in this view".
So, I click on Lists and Libraries, then on the name of my custom list.
When the list displays, the Workflows section of the page has a "Modified Workflow" displayed.
When I right click on it, no menu is shown. When I click on the modified workflow, I get the workflow settings page for that workflow.
I am trying to figure out how to create the copy of the workflow so that I can modify one of the mail messages in SharePoint designer.
Is there someone who has some advice on how to find this copy and modify option?  Or perhaps a web site, web forum, article series, or book covering the topic?
    Thank you!

    Hi lwvirden,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to modify the OOB approval workflow in SharePoint Designer.
After opening the site in SharePoint Designer, just click Workflows in the left panel and then the workflows in the site will load in the right part.
If you want to copy and modify the OOB approval workflow, then you need to right the approval workflow
Approval – SharePoint 2010 under Globally Reusable Workflow. After that you will see the
    Copy and Modify button.
    Best regards.
    Thanks

  • How to transport changes made on Workflow Template to other cleint

We have make changes to Workflow template via tcode PFTC_CHG (Change Task), with workflow builder screen, we make changes on the standard task, work item text etc, save the changes to workflow template WS90000XXX. However the changes we make is not save under a Transport Request number.
How to make the changes on workflow template to save under a transport request and transport it to other client. ?

    Hi Eric,
All development and customization of workflwo are saved in a transport request.
If while making the changes it did not prompt you for a TR then check the TR in whcih the task was created.
To port TRs follow the below procedure:
    1. Go to t-code SCC1.
    2. Select the transport request number and enter the source system (client)
    3. Click on 'Including Request Subtasks.
    4. Click on button 'Start immediately'
    This would port the TR.
Please note to port workbench TRs before the customizing TRs.

  • Don't Know How to Activate or Find Approval Workflow Template

    Hi
I'm using Sharepoint 2013. I want to add an approval workflow but I don't know how, and actually I don't know if it is already installed or I have to install the Approval Workflow template separately?!
Can anyone tell me how can I overcome this problem?
    Thanks

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to find Approval Workflow Template.
To activate the Workflow feature, you need to click Site Setting -> under Site Collection Administration, click “Site collection features",  and then activate the "Workflow" feature.
Then the Approval Workflow Template will be appeared.

  • How to modify template

Hi.  I am new to ITS.
I need to modify a template at location Internet services => System => Theme DM => HTML Templates => GENERATOR
How do I modify this template, SE80?
Once modified, is the change active?  Do I need to publish the changes?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

Are you SURE you want to modify that one? I ask because it is used all over most all of the ITS services.
    (1) If you DO modify that one, you will do so in SE80 and then YES you will have to publish it out. (* that's a general rule in ITS development...publish = activate)
    (2) As an alternative, you could override your function or whatever by making a local "Z" function to call. Then just replace the standard function calls with your custom one.

  • How can we find workflow templates activated ina system ?

how can we find workflow templates activated ina system ?
Could you please tell me a table name for that ?
    thanks

    Hello ,
I need the active workflow templates regardless of business object, event or template etc
So I used method suggested by Mohammad Anwar  and checked the table HRS1205
Here I find a long list of active workflow templates
But further to that I need to find which workflows have been activated and implemented to meet business requirement and put to use in the system.
For this I checked the SWI1 in production system to get an idea of what all workflows are active. This will give day to day data.
But if I need to find the same in HRS1205 table then can I consider those entries of active workflows for which UNAME field is not standard SAP userID but a dialog user ID of any user ?
    thank you

  • How to find a Transport Request no for Task or Workflow Template

    Hi All,
    Any body tell me.
How to find a Transport Request No for Task or Workflow Template.
    Thanks,
    Lakhshmi.

    Hi.
Next to the options already mentioned you can also try transaction SE03.
Select: Search for objects in Requests/Tasks.
Next, fill an empty line with the objectnumber you want to search (don't forget the checkbox).
For workflow tasks use the object type PDTS, for workflow templates use PDWS.
    Kind regards,

Workflows are modified by using the developer tool Workflow Builder. You can migrate workflows from one instance to another using the server-side WFLOAD executable or using WF Builder itself.
