    Hi,
    Based on my understanding, that you want to create a monitor to monitor certificate expiration, with two state, when the certificate is about expiration for 21 days,, send warning, when the certificate is about expiration for 10 days, then send
    alert. I think we need to create scripts to do so, hope the below links can be helpful:

    Can you access this URL on the server itself? Do you see the login page on the server?
    I need to access the ebs from my laptop which is having windows 7 operating system.
    My laptop (with IP Address 10.0.0.4) is connected to network and I can ping with my linux server's IP Address- 10.0.0.2 (ping 10.0.0.2 works)
    but when I ping from my laptop with the server 's hostname ( ping aserver.localdomain) it says "ping request could not find host aserver.localdomain" .What if you access http://10.0.0.2/OA_HTML/AppsLogin from the client, can you see the main login page then?
    when I tried to access the url "http://aserver.localdomain:8000/OA_HTML/AppsLogin" from the laptop ebs page is not opening.
    Please post the contents of the hosts file on the server and the client.
    Is there any configuration to be made in Linux server where ebs is installed or tell me what things to be done to access ebs from another system.Just make sure the firewall is disabled on the Linux server.
    I also have static ip configured in my router, So tell me what settings to be made to access this same ebs through internet.You do not need an internet access here since your server and client on the same network.

  • Does anyone know how to monitor a microphone when using Voice Over tool?

    I use Final Cut studio in conjunction with an AJA Kona LHe card. Audio inputs are via the AJA. I monitor the output from FCP through the AJA card via a Samson C-Control (monitor matrix). Here's my problem. When I'm recording voice over, I am unable to monitor the sound from the microphone through the headphones (or speakers). There is definitely an audio feed being routed to the headphones as I am able to hear the audio cue countdown. The microphone is working fine too - when it comes to playing back the voice over through the headphones (or speakers), I can hear the track absolutely fine. Has anyone experienced the same problem... and do you know how to solve it? Many thanks, AW

    its not that you've anything screwy going on .. this is the way it is engineered to work.
    the pre-existing audio (and cues) is routed to the headphones but not the voice being recorded.
    the solution is to use an audio mixer to monitor both the voice over and the timeline

  • How to monitor bandwidth on Catalyst via SNMP?

    I've got c3750g with 12.2(55)SE.
    When I try ifSpeed (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.5), i've got 1 peak 999999999 and then only 0. Polling is 1 second.
    When I try ifHighSpeed (1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.15), I've 0 also.
    When I try ifInOctets from snmp-v2 MIB (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10), I've got results, but since it summary - my software cannot do calculations and I cant get instant interface bandwidth.
    Is there any solutions for catalyst?

    Hi,
    Are you saying ifSpeed. is changing value from one poll to the next? What kind of interface is it? Sounds like a bug, or an error in polling. Please post the snmpwalk of ifDescr, ifType, and ifSpeed.
    For the ifHighSpeed issue, from the IF-MIB entry about that object: "For a sub-layer which has no concept of                bandwidth, this object should be zero." Are you polling ifHighSpeed on a sub-layer interface?
    Bandwidth utilization is always calculated by taking multiple readings of in or out counters. There will not be a separate counter kept in our snmp agent, when separate values already exist and can be calculated. Thus, since you can use ifSpeed and poll ifInOctets to get the delta, and then calculate the result, our snmp agent will not contain the utilization number.
    If you want a graph of bandwidth utilization over time, I would suggest obtaining MRTG. It is available free of charge over the web, just search for MRTG download.
    Hope that helps,
    Curtis

  • How to monitor Message Bridge runtime using WLST

    Hi Readers,
    I would like to monitor Message Bridge runtime on weblogic 8.1 using WLST script.
    Can anybody tell if there is any possibility? Is there a MBEAN avaialble for Messaging Bridge.?
    Edited by: user13254842 on 09-Sep-2010 23:17

    Hi,
    I don't recall whether the console provides a way to monitor the bridge, or whether the MessagingBridgeRuntimeMBean hangs off of some parent mbean, but you can obtain arbitrary mbeans using standard JMX query calls.
    Some scratch code that I have:
      private static MBeanServerConnection getConnection(
        String urlStr,
        String username,
        String password,
        String mbeanServer
      ) throws Exception {
        // This code implicitly requires weblogic classes to be in the classpath
        // in order to run efficiently, but its possible to get it to work without
        // any WL at all.   See
        //   http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs90/jmx/accessWLS.html#1118690
        // The code could be changed to automatically detect if WL is in
        // the classpath, and switch to "iiop" mode if it isn't.
        URI url = new URI(urlStr);
        Hashtable h = new Hashtable();
        h.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, username);
        h.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, password);
        h.put(
          JMXConnectorFactory.PROTOCOL_PROVIDER_PACKAGES,
          JMX_PROTOCOL_PROVIDER
        JMXServiceURL serviceURL = new JMXServiceURL(
           url.getScheme(), url.getHost(), url.getPort(), JMX_JNDI_ROOT + mbeanServe
        JMXConnector connector = JMXConnectorFactory.connect(serviceURL, h);
        return connector.getMBeanServerConnection();
    conn = getConnection(url, user, pass, "weblogic.management.mbeanservers.domainruntime")
    String type = "JMSServerRuntime";    // not sure may need to add "MBean" or strip off "Runtime", bridge = "MessagingBridgeRuntime"

  • How to monitor perticuler sql statement using the INDEX or not?

    I am running on a long running quary, and the output is comming very late. So i want to know the sql quary is using the index or not? How to know that?

    If you want to check the real execution plan of a running query without waiting for query completion, you can try following steps that you should adapt to your query and your environment:
    1. start the query
    select
    count(*)
    from all_objects, all_objects;2. Retrieve in another session the SQL_ID and the CHILD_NUMBER of the running query:
    select sql_id, child_number, sql_text
    from v$sql
    where sql_text like '%all_objects%';3. use DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY_CURSOR to get the real execution plan from shared pool using SQL_ID and CHILD_NUMBER from step 2:
    select * from table(dbms_xplan.display_cursor(<sql_id>,<child_number>));Actually you don't need to restart the query if it is already running because the hint GATHER_PLAN_STATISTICS is only needed if you want to have current execution statistics.

  • How to monitor MySQL Server installed in Windows Server using Nagios

    You can do this via NSClient as Gary posted. The NSClient is a communications system that allows nagios to send commands to a target system over the nsclient protocol and they are executed on the remote system. You will still have to build some kind of vbscript or plugin to run on the target system to do the actual query to check on mysql.There are other options to. If you enable snmp on your target computer you can use a few nagios plugins to query the snmp agent on the target computer to see if a service is running. To do this via snmp you will need this plugin "check_snmp_process.pl" fromthis site.Your check command will look something like this:check_win_process:= check_snmp_process.pl -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -C "$USER6$" -n "$ARG1$" -w $ARG2$ -c $ARG3$The service definition will be like this:check_win_process!sqlservr!0!0This will check...

    I installed Nagios Core in my Ubuntu workstation 10.04 for me to learn something new in my craft. I use this now to monitor our Windows Server 2008 with MySQL server installed as well as our Datalink Switch (DGS-1210-24). I searched on google on how to monitor a MYSQL server installed in Windows server using Nagios Core but i could not seem to find any. Could anybody who's expert in Nagios give me steps on how to do so. Thanks. All i found in google were steps in monitoring mysql installed in linux and nothing in windows server.

  • Use SNMP to monitor the power supply status of stacked switches

    Does anybody know how to use SNMP to monitor the status of the internal power supplies of a group of stacked Cisco 3750 switches?
    The switch stack has three 3750-48PS-E switches inter-connected by Cisco StackWise cable. IOS ver 12.1(19)EAlc. A single IP address is used to identify the switch stack. Every time I poll the OID chassisPs1Status (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.4.0 in CISCO-STACK-MIB), I only got the status for the Master switch of the switch stack. Is there any way to poll the power supply status of other switches in the switch stack?
    Thanks a lot!

    Sorry to refresh such an old topic - but I am stuck with exactly this: Monitoring power supplies of a stacked Cisco Catalyst 3750-E.
    I'm using the exact same OID's as described, but the problem is, the information shown on the SNMP output is not correct.
    This morning, a power supply of the first switch failed and switched to RPS. Here the information I got on SNMP:

    SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.5.1.4.2060 = INTEGER: 2
    As you see, both PS1 (for both switches) are appearing normal. It doesn't even recognize RPS:
    SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.5.1.2.1059 = STRING: "Sw1, PS1 Normal, RPS NotExist"
    SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.13.1.5.1.2.2060 = STRING: "Sw2, PS1 Normal, RPS NotExist"
    The first switch's power supply died and now the cable is disconnected. LED's of the power supply are out. And still: The switch happily announces by SNMP it's power supplies are up.
    Is this a known bug? If yes, has it been fixed?

  • Monitor BGP sessions on VRFs with XR 4.2 using SNMP

    Hello,
    I have an ASR 9006 running IOS XR 4.2 and I want to monitor some BGP sessions under VRFs using SNMP. However, when I poll the device using the OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.15.3.1.2 I only get the BGP sessions on the global VRF. I have read that I have to create 'SNMP contexts' in order to poll information about VRFs but I am not sure how to create them on XR 4.2. Do you know how to do it?
    Thanks in advance.
    David

    Hello,
    thanks to the collaboration of the engineers of Dimension Data I have managed to get it working. In case you are interested in the solution. This would be the configuration on the ASR:
    ; We create the snmp context
    snmp-server context test-ctxt
    ; We associate the context with the VRF
    snmp-server vrf vrfTest
    context test-ctxt
    ; We create the community
    snmp-server community test-com RO 1500
    ; We map the community with the context
    snmp-server community-map test-com context test-ctxt
    Now, when we poll the community associated with the context the peering sessions for that context are returned:
    $ snmpwalk -v2c -c test-com 192.168.0.1 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.187.1.2.5.1.3

    Hall Palm Desert,
    if your Mac monitor has Thunderbolt ports, and the PC monitor is on the end of the daisy chain, then you might be able to do it by connecting your PC monitor’s VGA cable to a Mini DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter (e.g. Apple, NewerTech), connecting that cable’s Mini DisplayPort end to one of the Mac monitor’s Thunderbolt ports, and then connecting a Thunderbolt cable between the other port on the Mac monitor and your MacBook Pro.
